Annika, too?

It's been over six or seven years since I last watched any Indian serial so religiously and I hadn't planned on watching anymore but I got hooked to IB and the reason was Annika and SC's acting. This is the first time I actually like the FL more than the ML or love them both equally; otherwise it's always only been the appreciation for the male lead and the FL is almost non-existent to me.

But Annika was different! I started watching IB very late and I knew nothing about the story or the characters before that. But the few times I came across this show while flipping the channels, I thought that Annika (I didn't know her name then, only her face) was one of the Oberois or a family friend of their's. I was so surprised and relieved to find a classy, understanding, sophisticated and MATURE FL for once (maturity is sth very very rare in Gul's FLs). All praise to SC for balancing Annika perfectly and never much going OTT. And yes CVs, thank you for characterising Annika that way.

Annika is NOT stupid or immature! I love her! Why are the CVs butchering her character step by step?

Unlike shivika story , i walked out on him and his life because the guy was in a fix by his mom and i loved him too much to see him in pain. He didnt think twice before he got hit by a truck while trying to save me (bt got saved luckily) and yet had hesitation when it came to future life😕 am earning very well now... visited 4 countries in past year... learnt to speak 3 more languages (6 totally)😆

My point is... i love anika and i always want her to be strong because she is one of the characters i can relate with real life (too close to me personally). I really hate how the cvs are playing hide n seek with her character. I don't want a rono dona typical sanskari bahu hubby nagging type anika. Its so out of character. Sorry for the blabbing but thats how close anika is to me.
