What I feel here is that Shivika are trying to label their relationship as 'friendship' when they are discussing with others.. but when they are together and not seen by anyone, they are not at all close to that label of 'dosti'..!!

Forget about SSO v2.0 that Sahil was referring to - this a new version of IB where Pinky suddenly assumes that she is the reason for Shivaay's success, SSO wants nothing to do with his mom, Annika is so dense where she thinks friends do what Shivika are currently doing ..

My opinion::::

How conflicting is her behavior. So the character (Anika) is proud to announce that she has managed to deal with people who happened to "seeti bajao" at her. So she, the character is aware and can differentiate what is right and wrong and the limits to be maintained or expected from the opposite gender.

Couples can be best of friends but people who are ONLY friends don't behave like this with each other. This makes her appear dumb or retarded. Can the writers care to explain how Anika friend-zones her relationship with Shivay. It would have been fair if it were shown that she senses/feels/is aware of the fact that Shivay may just be "attracted" to her (after all she rates herself as smashingly beautiful) but she yearns for real love that is emotionally rooted. Had she said that she knows there are couple who get married, have children, and live together all WITHOUT being IN LOVE and that she doesn't want such a relationship, it would make some sense.

Having a conversation with a 6 or 7 year old has its own limitations, so why not have her discuss it with Prinku who WAS her college friend, or with Saumya who she approached to know what "Blush" is. That would give the two actors some screen space along with Anika.

Saumya and Rudra were in college. Why can't there be some bonding between them over a joint study for their exams instead of these characters being show pieces.

For the kind of show pieces that they are reduced to , even Navnindra Behl, a renowned theatre artiste can only mange to have one standard expression. Why can't they show that Dadi and Sahil are sharing a room and are bonding over some grandma tales? Sahil can share how Sundari Bua used to treat them in comparison to the love she showers on him and his Didi. It can open up avenues to address Anika's past.

Lazy writing!!!!!! I wonder if they are serious about the masterpiece they believe or CLAIM they are making.

May be she took the literal meaning of " friend" as dost in girl friend- boyfriend realationship , although they are married now 🤪
