Yes, we all know how greatly Harneet and co. want to tell their story their way and it would be so "ghisaa pitaa" to call a relationship what it is so let's RANDOMLY label it "dosti" when two people go around cornering each other, hugging each other non-platonically, kissing each other.
I don't know whether I should even bother laughing at how these people want to translate sexual tension into dosti at this stageš
I know they generally don't give a damn about what they make Anika mouth cuz everything apparently gets explained away by "Anika toh jhalli hai, kuch bhi bol deti hai"...but here's a small tip for the writers if they're interested in having any shred of credibility for this sudden reboot premise...
If they wanted to show an unsure Anika feeling hesitant about where her relationship with Shivaay stands despite all the obvious signs, they could have made her use the words CARE or PARVAAH...instead of insulting a beautiful relationship like friendship by reducing all that's passed b/w her and Shivaay to just friendship.
Also, while they're at it...it might help to not show Anika randomly being coy flirty with Shivaay in one scene and then calling it friendship in the next scene...it ruins the scenes both ways.
Shivaay-Anika's relationship was the only saving grace left in a show they've already largely butchered, so up to them if they want to consider atleast salvaging that in all the other mess.
