Hey AY! Generally a silent reader on the Forum but felt like saying something today because everyone else seems so disappointed with the episode and I really liked it.Laughing at everyone shocked over the sudden progression in Shivikas dynamics when these same people were ranting for not getting intimate holi scenes.😆

And whats with everyone saying that it didnt seem like Shivaaye. Lol!It sounded exactly like him.To quote Anika herself-"Itni sweet baat boldiya apne aur woh bhi puri tadi main." He just called himself the sun what more do you want to prove that its SSO himself!!??😆😆 Though yeah the dubbing was off the mark but this is IB, what more can one expect?

I really liked the hug and that too it was who Shivaay initiated it!He's the one usually holding back-like you never know what is going on in that head of his.And the way he looked down at her arms when he realized that she wasn't hugging him back. And then moves back while managing to brush her hair lightly at the same time.(I've noticed this guy is obsessed with touching her hair).😳 And this hug for some reason actually reminded me of the first time he asked her to call him Shivaaye -Come on.You can do it.Making her take deep breaths and then she shakes her slightly wondering what is this idiot making me do and call him Shivaaye. Today also she frowns, shaking her slightly at his antics and then hugs him.At this point the lighting department decided that they had enough of these two taking over the scene and well...*shrugs*

Oh and yeah for once neither one of them is crying while hugging. They look absolutely and completely happy.

Also liked that Rumya were shown though I didnt understand what and when did Rudy notice 'bahut kuch'? I don't watch DBO (I did watch the Rumya's epic plane sequence though) so did I miss something?

I'm going to ignore Bua Maa who just happened to pop up like a Jack in the Box from DBO (Hopefully this is a coffee break that lasts for month)and whatever that chainsaw massacre in the flashback was.

Precap- LMAO at the lady ripping off her sari-I really want to know whose dream this is.😆🤣

If it is a dream sequence it has to be Annika's ...unlikely for Shivaay to dream of getting himself hijacked..😃😃😃

Thank you for your post ! It was so beautiful !
I only just read it. I briefly glimpsed through IF after episode , saw the deluge if negative posts and scurried away.
I really enjoyed the scene and have re-watched it several times. I don't know how anyone can think the conversation had an impostor.
Every line had so much meaning and history attached to it, made the episode even more special.

Also when ANika has hugged him in the past its been a life-death situation or for comfort. He just made a pretty romantic declaration and then hugged her so she was shy and awkward. Their smiles at the end were so blissful though.

If today we find out this is a dream, Ill be surprised and rethink the scene but for now without knowing anything why bash the scene and post impostor, Daksh kind connotations to it.

Loved the way she nodded and the confusion/ yeh kya ho reha hai kind of expression ..
I really did not get what shivaay was trying to do there with his semi ninja move 😆(2nd gif in this post) it was funny..
I felt this was a loop closure scene of meri pati wala scene, where he teases her to come sit next to him in the bed.. 😆😆.. i know i am crazy,

My fav are the bottom two gifs.. just loved to see these two so happy , worry free, enjoying the moment.. BLISS ❤️

Thank you for these beautiful gifs AY.

LOLL@ Shivaay trying to do some ninja move...hahaha God only knows what he was doing exactly but it was looking damn funny, no doubt😆...simultaneously asking her to come hug him and then backing off by putting his arms out to ward her off...no wonder poor Anika was so confused😆😆

Re: loop closure...lol but that mera pati scene was all about teasing her for saying such big things...I think this scene was about him teasing her for being so overwhelmed that she got awkward about hugging him back for a bit😆

Yes, the last bit was a beautiful, RARE sight...we never get to see them worry free and simply blissful like that😆...so enjoy it while it lasted😆.

Totally concur with you. I love heartfelt convos more and this struck the right chord with me. It was very poignant!

The way Shivaay described anika was very endearing ..that she is a summation of masoomiyat, himmat, bewakoofiyan and that chand bracelet which he has noticed from the beginning.

And finally he talks of her fear of the dark and how he knows about the jugnu dialogue from sahil. And typical SSO wali tadi that he is as dazzling as the sun 😆 My feels just flew out the window when he talked of how she need not the dark anymore because he is there to surmount her loneliness. And that hug initiated by him, the overwhelmed expression on his face and the dismay that she didn't hug him back and how he finally got his way.

And for once even the excessive lighting at the end of the scene didnt bug me...the reason why they had so much light during the hug was supposed to connote what he said about light and darkness i guess...it was meant to be symbolic it felt pertinent after the suraj dialogue to have them bathed in a halo of light.

So yeah.. I really liked yesterday's scene. And when i watched it on tv the voice didnt seem that different. Maybe nakuul spoke softly to enhance the scene or something. And I didn't even feel that his demeanour was off because i felt the conversation stemmed organically from Anika's almost confession and shivru having a conversation about dysfunctional and good marriages.

Lovely post, YHK (if I can call you that)! The scene was indeed the right mix of endearing, poignancy, Shivaay's tadi😆, and the quintessential Shivika quirks, which is why I quite enjoyed it too😆.

@blue: I agree...it was meant to be symbolic and a follow up to all the discussion about light and darkness...because the entire room dimmed around them and they alone were bathed in the halo of light as you said...just that the fact that you could barely see their faces anymore annoyed most people and I can't even blame them...the lighting in this show gets a little out of hand in trying to be symbolic😆.

Completely agree with your point about this being an organic conversation arising out of Anika's almost confession and his own general thoughts on marriage right now...so demeanor wise I didn't feel anything was off...even NM's voice was fine...I honestly didn't get the big deal people made out of it😆

And did we discuss his "poochne ki zaroorat hai abhi bhi" that is a more clear it confession to me then a random I love you frankly speaking I love you's are losing the meaning the soul I prefer this kinda confession way more

LOL glad you reminded me of this...haan we didn't discuss this in detail...his "poochhe ki zaroorat hai?...ab bhi?"...lol that "ab bhi?" especially was so telling😆...basically telling her that after everything I've said and expressed, you still have a doubt? But Anika's question was valid too..."when you don't say anything only, I have to ask the question, right?"😆...to which he replies that he struggles with expressing himself...and then goes on to express his emotions about her, that bracelet, so beautifully that Anika is left speechless😆

Everything he is doing right now shows clearly that he loves her...they've gone beyond the need to put that specific label on it, cuz I think Billu likes to run away from labels the doesn't understand😆...but everything he is saying in lieu of actually telling her he loves her ends up being more touching and meaningful because of how earnestly and intently he says it to her.

The "Aao na" frankly was funny to me😆...feel like he was mainly messing with her there and laughing about it😆

You can call me Amri, my username is too long😳😆

Yes, there are times when they unnecessarily play with the light but for once it was pertinent.😆

I wondered if I was hearing things differently because his voice was perfectly fine to me.

And after a long time I felt that the episode came together...it wasn't a "jhunjhuna" as Anika puts it😆, in the form of an eyelock or a slip and catch. Heartfelt conversations are always more substantial than such lollipop moments, and the dialogues were spot on. It also gave us a sense of their journey and how far Shivaay as an individual, has come. I was rewatching some of the initial episodes yesterday and the contrast is striking. But ever since the biwi declaration there has been an evolution, both individually and collectively, which we have been prepared for, so it certainly didn't seem jarring to me, personally this was my favorite episode of the week😳

Mercifully, it wasn't a dream😆😆...It was all very real and I guess they probably wanted to give a last meaningful bit establishing Shivika's deep trust in each other before jumping into this imposter track to TEST that trust😆
