Yes, there are times when they unnecessarily play with the light but for once it was pertinent.😆

I wondered if I was hearing things differently because his voice was perfectly fine to me.

And after a long time I felt that the episode came together...it wasn't a "jhunjhuna" as Anika puts it😆, in the form of an eyelock or a slip and catch. Heartfelt conversations are always more substantial than such lollipop moments, and the dialogues were spot on. It also gave us a sense of their journey and how far Shivaay as an individual, has come. I was rewatching some of the initial episodes yesterday and the contrast is striking. But ever since the biwi declaration there has been an evolution, both individually and collectively, which we have been prepared for, so it certainly didn't seem jarring to me, personally this was my favorite episode of the week😳

Alright, Amri it is then😆

@bold: Exactly...I was resigned to getting those jhunjhuna/lollypop type contrived scenes only, so this was quite a pleasant surprise because it brought their journey full circle in many ways...like I said in my post, they built a mini arc around the "aww" thing and culminated it beautifully yesterday.

This was totally in line with their evolution as a pair...like you said, if you go back and watch the earlier scenes, you can see how far they've come...although personally I'd like to see better evolution for Anika but if we are talking mainly Shivaay here, the evolution was beautifully culminated yesterday...

So they are fully going through with this imposter stuff, big LOL! But im looking forward to it, Anika senses something off, and it should be nice to see Shivaay return.
Hopefully it wont drag for a month, its suppose to be ten days

Also relieved the sequence yesterday wasn't a dream. Makes sense as well, an imposter wouldn't know what Shivaay knows. But those dialogues are so warm and fuzzy, shall continue watching that scene for the next few days, I'm over the weird dubbing as well😳

Lovely post, YHK (if I can call you that)! The scene was indeed the right mix of endearing, poignancy, Shivaay's tadi😆, and the quintessential Shivika quirks, which is why I quite enjoyed it too😆.

@blue: I agree...it was meant to be symbolic and a follow up to all the discussion about light and darkness...because the entire room dimmed around them and they alone were bathed in the halo of light as you said...just that the fact that you could barely see their faces anymore annoyed most people and I can't even blame them...the lighting in this show gets a little out of hand in trying to be symbolic😆.

Completely agree with your point about this being an organic conversation arising out of Anika's almost confession and his own general thoughts on marriage right now...so demeanor wise I didn't feel anything was off...even NM's voice was fine...I honestly didn't get the big deal people made out of it😆

@bold: I agree.. it was his voice.. I didn't find it that different.. he just made it softer to sound more romantic and he may have had a slight cold or something😆😆.. I think this voice modulation was similar to the Do dil mil rahe hai scene under the staircase when he says "main kya kar raha hoon"!
