CH 9: HAUNTED BY THE DEFUNCT
Slowly, with heavy footsteps he walked towards her sleeping form. Every step he took, augmented the pain inside him by ten folds. He loved her right from that rainy night he saw her and even in this moment he was supposed to cause her pain, only he knew how his own deed would shatter his heart to a thousand pieces. He shall suffer more than her.
He held her hand close to his heart, lone tears escaped his pain-struck orbs. He was so vulnerable at that time. The ruthless, cunning and avenging SHIVAY SINGH OBEROI was replaced by a gentle, merciful and suffering man.
"I am sorry, Anika"

Sunlight filled the sky, pure scattered light made way through the large windows illuminating the palatial room. The rays danced on her cheeks playfully waking her wake from the deep slumber she was pushed into. Sparrows chirped an explicit background melody. Her eyebrows twitched, head felt heavy. She opened her eyes slowly.
With breath paused in her lungs, she realized she was in the wrong place. The events of yesterday night sprung back to her quick and though time continued, the emotions that flowed stilled her soul.She cornered her moist eyes to confirm her conjecture.
Her eyes met his naked form covered barely by the soft duvet, sleeping right by the side of her. The dread crept over her like an icy chill, numbing her brain. Tears blurred her vision and she frantically pulled the duvet covering every inch of her skin burning in shame and regret.
She looked at her clothes torn and spread irregularly on the floor along with his garments. She closed her absorbing all her pain, replaced by anger now. With bloodshot eyes she held the duvet close to her heart, picked up her clothes and moved to the washroom located in one corner.
Shivay gazed at her trembling form disappearing inside and closed his eyes once again pretending to be asleep.

She knocked the door to be met with a pair of concerned eyes.
Soumya looked at her disheveled state and fear gripped her innocent mind.
"Anika di, kahan the ap? Meine apko call kiya, office walon ko bhi poocha lekin kisine kuch kaha hi nahi.", she continued inquiring scared by her empty eyes looking elsewhere.
She shook her to get some response, noticed her torn clothes and let out a sigh.
A silent understanding surpassed between them and Anika hugged Sumo tightly, howling, crying and screaming loudly.All the emotions packed in her heart released like a wave in a thunderous storm.
"I have been raped, Soumya! I have been raped..."

"Mamu, it is all done as per our plan. Ab Tej ki barbaadi ke din shuru.", completing himself Shivay cut the call.
He closed his eyes absorbing the guilt engulfing him. He had instructed Mishra to cancel all his meetings for the day for he wanted to be all alone. No one was allowed to meet him today.
He, the wicked and powerful SHIVAY SINGH OBEROI, had never thought it would all turn out to be so difficult for him. For the first time in past 15 years, his heart was thumping loudly for a girl.
"Anika"
He knew he had done something pretty awful and there was no way his sin could be justified.The more demanding the reparations his subconscious required, the worse he felt.
His phone rang, "Sir, Madam ghar se nahi nikali hai bahar. Unke saath ek aur saheli hai unki."
"Thik hai, us par nazar rakhna.",saying so he cut the call once again thinking about the events of the night before.
**Flashback**
"I am sorry, Anika.", he continued, "Aj ke baad tum mujhse beintehaa nafrat karogi lekin mein jo kuch bhi kar raha hoon isiliye nahin kar raha hoon ki tumhe chot pahanche lekin mujhe yeh karna padega."
"Tumhe pata hai, Anika. Mere papa, MR Shakti Singh Oberoi aur Tej Bakshi bahut ache dost hua karte the. Lekin tumhari mausi Kamini aur Tej ne milkar mere aur mamu ke pure parivaar ko tabaah kar diya. Aur aj woh dono uss jagah par hain jo kabhi unki thi hi nahi. Aur tum, Anika, tum hi woh kadi woh jo unke iss deal ko tod sakti hai. Aur isiliye, chahe tum mujhe kabhi maaf karo ya na karo mein yeh tumhari shaadi Omkara se nahin hone dunga aur iss deal ko mein tod kar hi rahunga.", completing himself, he wiped his face and masked his guilt by anger and an avenging spirit.
He swiftly opened his jacket followed by his shirt and threw them on the floor. He moved towards and sat next to her. He promptly pulled the dupatta adoring her neck exposing her deep neckline along with an envious cleavage.
He could feel all the blood rushing down south. His hormones made it very difficult for him to hold his control.
He advanced towards her bare neck leaving red marks at adequate places. Unknowingly, she let out a gasp which was more than enough for Shivay to give up his defenses. He looked at her rosy lips, the gloss shining under the silvery moon rays seducing him to make them his own.
Never in his life had me felt such attraction towards any girl. He had slept with many of them but never had he the urge to explore someone so deeply and with such intensity. Baffled by the sexual tension between them, he decided to guard himself before draining into her beauty.
He blindfolded himself with her dupatta and started removing her dress carefully so as not to hurt her or touch her at places he could be seduced by. With great difficulty he did job with an unknown expertise, his hands brushed against her delicate skin.
The salwar fit her body so perfectly, enhancing her curves at all the right places. He raised her upper body and took her into a hug, running down his fingers towards her zip he came across a dori, which he pulled hesitantly.
He undid her zipper and pulled away the kurti from the upper body. He opened the hook of her brassiere releasing her perfect bosom against his sturdy chest. The realization of her being naked was evoking sinful desires, luring him to mark her, love her and f**k her right there and then.
But, forcing an unconscious lady was definitely not his way of showing off his manhood. He wanted to hurt her, destroy her and avenge for his family and blood but deep in his heart he knew she was an innocent soul, he had to use in the process. Honestly, he could never let his ruthlessness disrobe her chastity.
He placed her back on the pillow after removing her pants and the under garment beneath and covered her with the duvet adequately.
He undid the blindfold and was once again lost in her pure beauty. He kissed her forehead meekly, and retired to a place on the bed few inches away from her. Yet, sleep was far away from him, from that distance, he gazed at her, inhaling her sweet fragrance, soaked by her mesmerizing beauty he realized for the first time in his life that he was no animal, no beast but a human who was losing his heart to this angel sleeping beside him.❤️
