That's actually very true. Anika had that look on her face that I've seen wives give to their hubby's when they've majorly screwed up 😆. But honestly, I didn't like the jealousy thing. Anika already thinks Shivaay doesn't deem her worthy, and neither does her family. By using Tia, of all people, to make her jealous, he's making her even more insecure.

So true. Annika is confident of herself as an individual, as Sahil's guardian. But her self worth as a wife , bahu is quite low. It doesn't help that he has shouted time and again that she is less than worthy.

Yes, he has changed. But she finds him difficult to understand. The last time he shouted at her to stop behaving like his wife, she got a rude reminder. Although this time he was telling her (Om's engagement to Svetlana) , that his marriage to her was nothing but a sacrifice he had to make for his family's izzat. 😕.. That hurts, man.

Honestly, the hurt in her eyes when Shivaay was oohing and aahing... I could feel her pain, it was emanating out of my screen. It didn't help that he looked SO DAMN HOT in that white kurta while flirting with another woman. Just made him all the more unattainable for Anika.

Seriously, this man looks hot in any color, even parrot green and hot pink. Waiting to see him in fuchsia and orange soon..😆 than i can say definitely he can carry ANY color...😆

But you know what hurt most? How he said "Dehaan kahan hai Anika?" when Pinky was blasting her. He knows how much Pinky's taunts hurt her and yet, he decided to use those to his advantage too, making her feel all the more alone. I know he made up later on but I still didn't appreciate him doing that to get one up on her.

I'd like to disagree here a bit. I don't think Anika thinks she doesn't deserve Shivaay. For me, she's scared he doesn't think that. I know they've muddled up Anika's character beyond any sort of redemption but the real Anika won't think of NKK or the Oberoi parivaar as a barometer for worthiness. She's afriad Shivaay thinks that.

Risha, Annika is petrified with the idea of falling love. Especially with Shivaay. He told her plenty enough times that she is below his stature, and his continuous refusal to acknowledge her as his wife in a constant pebble in her shoe.

OmRu, Dadi, Prinku, Jhanvi all are fine with Annika being a part of their family. First , Shivaay broke his prejudices , notably triggered by the possibility of Om being illegitimate. Further on, Annika has been on his side so loyally , saved his life and shared his troubles, so he has accepted her and Sahil into his inner circle.

You can't deny, he still has trouble accepting Annika as his wife in public.

Other than that, you're right. The insecurity is there and since it comes from Shivaay, he has to be the one who admits love first. Right now, he's being too cruel, making her feel lonelier than ever in that huge mansion of his.

And he did, today. "Mujhe farq padta hai" He may have made it look like he said it just to trick Anika but we saw the truth in those beautiful eyes of his. I loved his face when he said that. There was so much sincerity there, such purity and.. innocence - something you don't actually expect from Shivaay. It reminded me of my 7-year-old cousin innocently (and secretly!) telling me he had a crush on one of his classmates, he looked that bacha-like. *sigh* More than Anika, I want to hear him say it a million times more with that exact expression on his face.

And you know why he only noticed Tia's beautiful chehra? Because Tia ka he only noticed chehra. Anika ko uss ne upar se le ke neeche tak, sab notice kia. Hair, eyes, lips, neck... you know the drill. 😆

Apart from the "beautiful" part and the knife part, I found today's episode to be below tolerable. It'd been out-and-out bad had they not moved it so fast, plot-wise. Pinky ke baare main I don't have anything else to say. I think I've run out of bad things to say about her. I can only hope Tia gets exposed quickly because I honestly believe once that happens, Pinky would be an incredibly loyal MIL. Dadi redeemed herself today 😆. Although I still don't get why she wants Anika to dress up for her husband's wedding to another woman. The "ghar ke bahu" logic makes ZERO sense given the circumstances.

Finally, SC looked great despite the horrible dress. As for billu, such gaudy, flashy colors don't even go with his personality, I dunno why he's made to wear that. I was thanking God when he got out of that gaudy pink... Too soon, I guess.

I think Nakuul would look great in anything, he is blessed. 😆

Surbhi's face and make up artist is her saviour. Because her stylist is trying to prove that her taste is better than viewers'.

That's actually a very valid point. The pain Shivaay must've gone through when Anika said "jab yaadain hee nahee toh ehsaas kaise hongey" must have been - was - unbearable. We saw that in his face.

However, Anika is doing this all for him and his family. And also, Shivaay hadn't made any promises to Anika so I don't know if she owes him anything.

I'll say one thing though. Annika is very reserved in her display of feelings for Shivaay. She is supportive, caring, calming, easing his tension and all, but in the romance department, she has been avoiding him since the bells started ringing in her ears. The last time she touched him, was when he fell asleep on her lap.

In contrast, since he rescued her from Daksh, he has been altogether more demonstrative (in private) in his caring, albeit unintentionally. The times he touched her with romantic intentions, were to tease her about her blushing, and recently to remind her of how much his proximity messes with her , and flipped it on her, by using the very moves on Tia.

Shivaay is really in the dark about what exactly Annika feels for him.

Agreed. Who would've imagined Billu ji giving up a KHANDAANI OBEROI NECKLACE, something that's symbolic for his family, up for Anika. And that too, so easily. Without too many questions asked. LOVED that part. How far has he come.

I disagree. There was a very important conversation Shivika had before the ML happened. Where Shivaay insisted that what Om was doing (marrying Svetlana) was justifiable because " one should swallow one's own discomfort for the sake of the family and loved ones." , just like Annika did when she was forced to marry him.

Annika knew then, that he was not going to stop Om from sacrificing himself into marrying Svetlana. His father's mistress. Michmichis... So she and Rudra hatched this plan. When the Tia and Dushyant are revealed, sure Shivaay will be livid that SHE of all people could stoop to trick and manipulate him.

He might even push her away, but Oberoi house was about to be swallowed into an abyss that time when Svetlana and Om got engaged, and Jhanvi hurt herself. But with her scheme, she threw the NBs into standing by and watching for the time being. She bought them all some time.

Pretty sure, Rudra will be the one who will narrate what he and Bhabhi did to bring all this revelations out, and bring Shivaay around.

yes ! he did say it. And it threw her off balance a bit. It was the first time he came the closest to acknowledging it. Only, "Tum mere biwi ho..." or, "Tum mere ho.." whichever

Zimmedari he did say...but his true feelings came out wen he called her his zarurat...Billu is emotionally challenged and such people are bad at expressing, they can never make the other person realize in true words what they mean but they do get carried away and blurt out their feelings and there have been various such instances where Shivay has well, done that!

He was SO expressive when he was in the hospital, I suspect on medications..😆.. So to her, she knows how he feels in his heart for her. But he is famous for putting his heart aside for his brain.

For the first time, he feels difficult because his heart is warring with his brain. That what he wants (Annika) is conflicting with what he needs to do (divorce her and marry Tia). Something he wanted from the start, is suddenly what he doesn't want at all. That he needs to tell himself, his mom and his family. That's not Annika's job.

Yes he finds it hard to say he loves her but I feel that's not coz he considers love a weakness...that's more coz he is caught into a web of situations such that even if he wants, he really can't express much at the moment! He needs to make the wrong things right before confessing his love and he is at it, he is trying his best but problems keep getting bigger and mess gets deeper!

Perhaps. So , Annika is helping him. In her own crazy unpredictable way, because he is too stuck in the intrigues of rich people and so ready to throw money at anything to make it go away.

I know , the writing has been sketchy and dragging, because they have had to stretch the track a bit to accomodate for a episode bank, but don't you agree that Annika has come across a lot in her cover as Kalavathy?

@Blue: That's a contradicting statement, he has never given her up, he has always managed to keep her with him despite being caught into a web of problems always and has tried his best to stand by her after the Daksh MU got cleared, unless he was blackmailed by Mrs. Kapoor and stood helpless but totally broken!

Exactly. Annika thinks he doesn't have to, if she is nothing but a pareshaani or Bhoj. If she were his wife, then by all means, she would be so happy to have such an amazing steadfast husband by her side. Right now she feels like a burden to him.

To his credit, he does not act like she is a burden at all, in fact he is quite caring to her. It's his mom that is causing her to rethink their equation. Pinky's absolute hatred and unacceptance of her , especially after his gunshot accident, really made her feel like she is unworthy.

I think more than shying away from committing, its his circumstances that don't allow him to give Anika her place! And I still don't feel and understand the need and reason of Anika's trick of questioning Shivay as Kalavati and putting him into a spot where he has no option except to agree marrying Tia!

I have never felt that Shivay tried to make Anika express her feelings or confess her love! They both realize but keep running away, from where I see neither he feels that she might leave him hence unable to express...I felt like Shivay needed an introspection of wat he feels about Anika and he had tried to show in numerous ways, that she is his wife and she means the world to him, but just fails at words!

Yes, I feel Shivay has given up all his ideologies and beliefs for Anika, infact, they never existed in Anika's case from the time he truly fell for her...for him, Anika was Always a Different case, he always maintained, Anika ki baat alag hai...Anika is different than the rest and he loved her for who she was, he fell for the girl who challenged him and was his Takkar's😆

But my question lies, has Anika ever done all that is questioned for Shivay? Will Anika accept his love? Can't Anika see that he as no Naam Khoon Khandaan beliefs wen it comes to her? Can't she see he loves only her? What was the need to torture him over Tia ka bachcha wen she knew Shivay is already in guilt coz of this and she well knows as Anika and as Kalavati too, that its not Shivay's child!

Yes, it this point I have to agree its confusing. If she were clear in her mission it would be just to get to Tia's secret and expose it. This Tia ki bachcha, and Faraq padta hai jealousy fights are unnecessary.

But jealousy is a sign of love. And BOTH of them are displaying it in spades for each other to see.

Yes, He wants her to choose ONLY him and keep him as priority, but Anika is sacrificial...for those who call Shivay as a selfish lover, I would want Anika to be a little selfish too and really choose Shivay...why be so sacrificing and leave him, he doesn't want to let her go, she well knows that, she wanted one Ishara from him wen she was leaving home, he said Tadi, she got the signal and stopped...she understands somewhere and feels too...so why do this all to him? If at all Shivay is not a part of pushing her off the railings plan, she has given him the pain and guilt of doing that to her, whereas truth is that push was provoked and well planned, so I am just hoping and feel that Shivay is atleast a part of pushing her drama if not her fake ML!

Shivaay is possessive as a man in love. He demands all of her and her attention to be on him and as 1st priority. vice versa also applies.

Dadi's advice comes into mind. A man is not only a husband, he is also a son. He has to balance all these relationships fairly. He is also concurrently observing his mother's complete rejection of Annika as her bahu. He has to understand that it must be hard for Annika to stay where no one wants her to?

Of course I know, Shivaay wants her to stay, for always. Which is why his commitment to her is very important.

Yes, question him as Anika and throw Tia out of his life and demand ur rightful place, but don't torture him like this...is my point! :)

Neha, I understand you are really in tune with Shivaay's POV, but try to understand. As Annika, he never explains himself to her, refuses to point blank. I hate the torture too, but he needs to face it. Poor fellow is surrounded by so much problems.

Today, and in this week it's pretty evident that both of them are hurting, and doing the same to one another.

I am hurting equally for both of them, it's painful to watch, but I cant help but feel biased towards Anika.First she's tied in this relationship forcefully, and then the said spouse refuses to accept her publically, or in this case , even admit it to himself. From my angle, this sad state of affairs is pretty much all Shivaay's doing. For someone so apt in the business world, how is he so dumb in matters of the heart?

She has quietly crept into his heart and set up house there. He in desperately trying to stay himself , as his family knows him, but he's changed. Pinky is a real tough nut to crack. Each episode passes, and i feel her breakdown is going to be the toughest to bear.

Yet, as Shivaay was fretting about having to choose between his mother and his wife, he readily chose his wife. He was about to leave with Annika when things got tough for her. He CHOSE. But she didn't want to take him from his family. if his family cannot accept her, then she will definitely leave. Shivaay's identity is with his family, she can't take him away from that.

Whereas about Anika confessing, how is the poor girl going to tell you how she feels in the current circumstances, i.e his mother hates her, he's supposedly going to be a father and repeatedly Shivaay has highlighted the NKK difference between them.

When she confessed to Sahil, about loving Shivaay, thats what she feared most, his refusal to be bound with someone without lineage and all.

Exactly !! She cried so much, saying love is not for the likes of her. Especially not with Shivaay.

But it is his battle with himself, if he wants her to stay, it's his call. No subtle gestures, ishara or indirect hints. Commitment. Then she will never leave his side.

And i recently watched the weddibg episodes again, at one point she does tell him to say of their is something in his heart, but he stays quiet

So with all their given history and present circumstances, I dont think it'll be appropriate for her to confess.

P.s though I do feel that if Anika is trying to do the right thing, then I would have liked it if was without this whole memory loss drama. With the memory loss , its all very confusing, especially her motives

Yes, she has lost her focus a little. She was getting somewhere with the Dushyant discovery. But Pinky and Mrs. K have pushed this divorce upon them, and Annika got distracted into wanting to leave OM instead. I blame the writers, i don't understand it either.

I can see that Annika is planning to leave Shivaay, absolving him of any responsibility of taking care of her. But getting riled up by jealousy of him and Tia, and retaliating with her own plots, is reeking of her own emotional instability.

She loves him, and any normal girl cannot stand to see her husband behaving like how he is with Tia. Yeah, even if she provoked him into it. SHe's human, yaar. I find it refreshing that she displays Jealousy like a real woman, not a mahaan Bahu, who just swallows everything with a smile.

I felt her anger as she pinched those flowers into tiny bits.

Exactly !! Everytime she tries to understand him, he changes color. This is his inner battle. If he wants her to stay, he has to say the words to make her stay. She can't decide for him.

The way he put on the mangalsutra again (OLV) makes me think he is staging their traumatic wedding again, where he will drag her to the mandap again in front of his family. But he is hating it, because of the pain he knows it's causing her.

He knows, "faraq padra hai", he told her today, "I can see it in your face, just admit it, Annika !"

He is determined to break her down and make her admit it, all ready to hold her tight when she breaks her resolve to give him up.

It changed today, to " Mujhe faraq padra hai, Annika. You better admit it too. I won't stop until you admit it. I can see it in your eyes, but I'm gonna make you say it !"

The thing about Shivaay is if you see the 16th & 17th Feb's episode, he was ready to run just to keep Anika with him. And somehow he knows that she wants to stay she is just not admiting it. He, making an effort to find the video is more about keeping her with him. Bcoz when Mrs.Kapoor doesn't remind him of the blackmail he conveniently forgets about the video.
But in all this what he wants most is for her to be the way she was before the memory loss. So that he doesn't have to compromise his principles yet he has her with him. But the new improved or may be pretending Anika is asking questions. She just doesn't want to do the duties of a wife, she is also asking for the rights. Aptly put in the 16th Feb 'Is Riste ko main Kya naam do?'.
The pain in her eyes is so torturing even for someone watching I don't know how he keeps going even after seeing that. And then using his mother to taunt her. Damn. I hope he is the one who falls on his knees & begs her to stay bcoz he can't even breath without her. I don't want her to confess. I feel she has done enough already for their relationship. She is even giving him what he kept pretending to want. Leave her & marry Tia.

Yes he felt betrayed when she ruined his plan of eloping in the dark. It was sad but then running away like that was no solution and that too when kapoors are tightening the grip around the family. He has come a long way to put Anika ahead of his own family but his Anika would have never allowed him to put his other relations in jeopardy for her.

Lets be clear, had Anika not rocked the boat with this memory loss trick, or any other plan, he would have been more than happy living in his small world with her. But the day he saw her walking away from his life, he came into action. He has been desperate to break her with faraq padta hai to get their old equation back.

What he is doing now may uproot some problems from their life but Shivika equation will change once Tia is out.
