I don't have time to watch show but fortunately I Watched. And witness the terrific performance of my Omie. Good omkara is killed and bad omkara born. Sounds interesting. I had this idea that one day sweet, calm, composed Omie will turn in to grey.

Saw DBO promo. I am disappointed by ckt sketch of gauri. But the way om has turned grey he need someone sweet.

Still waiting eagerly for om and gauri story because kunal and shrenu look hot and their chemistry oozes out in promo. And I am more interested in shades of omkara. Two great actors can make even a stereotypical story interesting.

We saw Om has hated his Dad's behavior and attitude for a long time. WHO would love the actions of a Father who flaunts a mistress half his age, and thinks of business over even relationships? The man is pathetic. HE is a testimony of what an abject failure Dadi was as a Mother. Even Shakti is not much better, accept that he is not a cheat. He is spineless most of the time. Roop is a thief and a liar. So Kalyani Oberoi has nothing to be proud of when it comes to her children, accept that they made more money than their Dad. He clearly had some principles but these people don't. Dadi can just keep giving lectures on Ishqbaazi. That is all she is good for. The last scene when she was crying over the divorce? I was like "Please"...after everything that has happened she is more concerned of the first divorce in her family? Keeping a marriage going where one person is never given their status and is taken for granted is nothing to crow about either. IF she had cared about her DIL, she would have done more to make sure Jhanvi was able to return to work. But she didn't. Neither has she been fair to Pinky. Pinky can't even get her son to listen to her. (I know she is wrong, but in her shoes why would she trust Annika?).

Guys like Om really exist in this world, where they are traumatized by their father cheating on their mother. (I knew a guy like this myself). They have a lot of latent anger and they usually hurt themselves more than others. That is what Om was like. But now, he won't tolerate being a victim anymore. He will give back. His Mother's plight has finally shocked him into it. I think Jhanvi just got Fed up. She had left one man for Tej, then given up her career for her family. Then finally what does she get? Cheated on, and then she gets told she didn't bring up her kids right and then told "Sorry I don't need you anymore" and given a divorce. There was a woman in the States after 20 years of marriage was dumped by her husband for a younger woman. She went off the rails. Because she had invested her WHOLE identity and life in this marriage. Gave up her career and she lost it all, because HE didn't want her anymore. She became so unhinged with depression she shot her husband and his new wife. In this case, Jhanvi just harmed herself. I think it's not coz Tej is divorcing her. It is coz her whole life's work was questioned. It's like her life never meant ANYTHING.

Now Om doesn't believe in love or relationships! I totally GET it. It makes 100% sense. He will leave OM as a changed man, after taking Svetlana from his Dad. Kunal did full justice to the scene and communicated to us the end of the "Old" Omkara and the advent of the new. Now I am actually excited for his story. They can make it really good. IF Gul keeps her focus! Let's hope so. Sorry for the long post, but after a long time an episode was really worthy of analysis. Good post BTW!

Kunal lived Omkara today and took him to another level. He portrayed the emotions so brilliantly that the transformation was visible and you could feel it.

Till now he was playing the role with least importance and few minutes of screenspace. But he rocked whatever kind of scene he got. When he will play as true lead then imagine ❤️
