If you have truly forgiven someone, whether they apologized for it or not, you would never bring it up again. You would fight about what he did presently to hurt you but would not use the ammunition from the past to always make him feel like he owes you one or you are one up on him because he made you a victim.
True forgiveness is about forgetting all the wrongs done and starting with a clean slate moving forward. You cannot look back to the past and use it against the person if you have forgiven him/her truly.
Annika has not forgiven him ... she has just put it at the back of her mind and whenever he gets into the SSO avataar she pulls it up and throws it at him.
If Shivvay is a smart man he will want to put this to rest once and for all otherwise whenever he becomes SSO from Shivvay she will revisit that past of his, no matter that he is not that same man anymore.
Can you imagine 10 years into a marriage and your wife still brings that up even after you took a bullet for her??

Yes he has to show that he is guilty...
Not guilty because in his eyes what he did was what he normally does. Not even justify becaus that will make matters worse. He should acknowledge and be aware of her pain and her wounds (physical, emotional and mental) becaus of his actions that day. More than a sorry for what he did, she would appreciate that he understands what she went through that day. He needs to apologize for not understanding the effect his actions had on her more than the actual act
He has never sympathized with her for what he put her through - he needs to sympathize and hear her side of what happened to Annika on the wedding day

And Annikaa this is coming from an equally hardcore Shivvay fan😆

But in that process also Anika will be hurt.. She wouldn't be able to see him hurt, guilty.. Ufff...

Yes she will ... but the question here is 'should she without him actually addressing it and asking for it'? "Can she truly move ahead and look to the future without her past following them like a dark shadow?"

So right... this is what i was thinking. There will surely be one point where these things will come infront of them. Where a crack can break their relationship.

I know ... I know ... he took a bullet for her, he loves her more than life itself, she is his Jaan and he will protect her no matter what, he trusts her more than he trusts himself, she is the goddess who is on the pedestal right now and who can do no wrong!
That is all good and healthy for the relationship and for the marriage as they move into the future but what about the ghosts "Shivvay and Annika' from the past who still haunt this relationship that is blooming? They spew venom in the nectar that is forming in this newly formed love and turn it to poison every time they do.

Yes. She is his life..his breath. His trust upon her is hard to break. Without a strong basement u can't build a strong building. So is the the base of their relationship is not built properly.. . The building will surely crumple.

There was a time when he did not love her.. when he did not even respect her ... when he thought she was sub human and meant nothing... when what happened to her after the one day wedding was of no consequence whatsoever as long as she fulfilled her part in his plan ... when he threw her on the bed and intimidated her.. when he physically, mentally and emotionally hurt her ... when he trampled on her pride and her self-respect like it was worth the dirt from the streets that she came from ...
When he forgot that this Annika,he was breaking and treading on like she was of no significance, was the same Annika who had risked her life, self-respect and her pride multiple times to save the very thing he was putting her through the humiliation for - HIS FAMILY AND HIS REPUTATION

Indeed... he forgets what she did for him and his Family. Meaning he doesnt remember it on the right tym. He crushed her self respect and broke her emotionally. The tears she had been holding back fell very badly breaking her. The main point was she couldn't bear that, the man she felt for did all this.

Shivvay and Annika need to lay those ghosts to rest and give them a farewell so that they do not haunt their future. They need to revisit and heal the raw wounds that are still festering and that emerge everytime he says or does things to open them up again. He needs to give Annika the balm that will sooth that pain and heal it once and for all.

Shivvay needs to ask forgiveness for all that he has done on the most important day of their life - their wedding day, so that he is true to all the vows he took when he walked around that sacred fire with her. He needs to list them and check off all the actions so that if one is missed she can let him know. This act will ensure that in the future it is NEVER thrown back in his face that it was left unresolved.
He needs to seek Redemption before she even asks for it.

Exactly what I feel. He does need to apologize before its too late...too far. He needs to without she asking him. He should try his best to amend those mistakes he commited... that broke her. Even on Thursday's epi... they showed that Anika till now feels afraid of that Shivaay she faced in their wedding day. She knows that he can go to any extent... nd that is her fear. He should get the fear out of her... that he will never ever hurt her that way. He has to assure her that he is hurt the most when she cries. There is a lott for him to do...if Anika doesnt forgive him easily.

But can't rely on cvs... maybe they can change her into the 'Mahaan wife' who forgave her Husband just at one sorry. Nd I want Shivaay to apologize from the depths of his heart. I would like it this way... if Anika doesnt forgive him easily... we could get to see a Shivaay running behind Anika for forgiveness.😉

I guess the point I am trying to make here is that it needs to be a relationship of equals. Right now Annika is superior to Shivvay in the fact that she is selfless and is forgiving him even though he has not asked for forgiveness. That matter of the forced marriage between them has not been addressed so it will always be an unresolved issue of how she was wronged by Shivvay. For it to be a relationship of equals - so that Shivvay does not feel like she will always hold that against him - he needs to confront his wrongs and admit them before he asks for forgiveness. Otherwise it will always be thrown in his face when they have fights or arguments in the future.
I will forgive him once he does that - for his own good 😊

Right... I will too forgive him...filhaal i am pitying him.. nd i was too touched.. but Anika's love will bring him back. Anika has a really big heart. She is guilty and so she forgives him. But Shivaay needs to admit his wrongs and apologize to her... so that their future is not disturbed by some horrible moments from their past.
