DO YOU WANT TWO DIFFERENT FORUM FOR iISHQBAAZ AND DIL BOLE OBEROI?

only single forum is needed...already the fandom is divided and fights are going on even when one is there.. now the fight will between two shows...the spin off decision has its gain and drawback.. the good thing is the other leads also gets chance and the continuity of the show can be maintained.. otherwise when one story devolop others continuity is gone... like when shivika story is shown... rumya marriage is already forgotten... priveer is like guest appearance.. so if the another comes continuity can be maintained easily...

actually ishqbaaz fans itself is behind the makers decision...their fights...they stop ishkara story because of trp... when shivika scenes happens the trp increases..so the makers are planning to show other lovestories without affecting shivika trp...the fans are divided into 4.. some wants shivika, some wants rumya, some wants om story... and some others only want obros story...

if they are trying to solve this problem.. i think they should make 4 shows...

I beg to differ sorry. It was not Shivika scenes that increased TRP, it was the "Drama" in the forced marriage and the Saas Bahu elements that came into the story. FL fighting with Sautan to "save" her Pati from her etc. Those are always good TRP fodder. When Shivaay and Annika were not being shown in this way, then they were not getting TRP either. The week Daksh was introduced TRP was 1.4. Mostly Annika and Shivaay were shown in those episodes, and they had some good scene and even jealousy etc, but nothing happened.

But the forced marriage took the TRP over 2, and now NB and Saas bahu drama with Tinky plotting against Annika and even Sahil will continue to get them those TRP eyeballs.

DBO will be an experiment to make sure that the other stories get their due, and not just ShiVika and NB are shown all day. I dont think this is such a big deal that people need to worry so much. Spin off's have happened everywhere in the world, and maybe not in India, but there is always a first time for everything. I hope in DBO they show little of ShiVika like in IB how little OmRu and RUMYA are shown. That way balance will be maintained and some continuity in scenes as well. As it is OmRu are hardly shown in IB, so this will not be a tough ask to carry their story in DBO.

Also if Shrenu is joining there is no way she would have joined if the show was going on like IB was? Where was SHE going to fit in? She is a lead and wont want to play a second fiddle. So this makes total sense and I hope it achives the goal they are aiming to acheive. If two forums are needed, then so be it. I dont mind.

ya u have a point here...all are saying the makers are not showing any nayi soch...because when they show it there were only less TRP... i dnt know why the people is hell behind saas bahu drama...the show which show less was this.. but the trp dropped down and now they are making it a saas bahu drama and bringing spinn off to show obros

Anyways, I hope this DBO tries to stay out of all that, and just concentrate on the stories and moving them forward. I hope that SP gives them a fair chance. The fact that they have done this proves they have faith in Ku and Lee and their pull factor. If not, trust me they would not do this. SP are first and foremost a business. They will no do anything if they dont think it will get them some proft. Maybe they are hoping for a good following for this show on Hotstar! As it is this show has a lot more Online audience than TRP audience and Online audience is Global. The show, especially the Om and Rudra aspect (which is more progressive and not so much Saas Bahu type) will have a wider appeal with online audience, be they from overseas or India.

Look at Beyhadh? That has such a great following online. It is a totally different show and has no Saas Bahu or vamps. The drama is great and the story is gripping. The characters are great too. Especially Grey female lead Maya. People are loving it!

Lol just read how members are saying chutkara from omru fans, perhaps you should understand thAt this word has been invented n generally used by Omru fans themselves!

If shivika wasn't working, with or without the SaaS bahu, SP would have scrapped them from start!

N respect and tolerance is a two way Traffic, which generally isn't here on this forum!

For my part, 2 forums is better! At least the mockery, insults n so on will be reduced!

N likewise each fandom can enjoy what they want without having to justify their likes every minute!

I know the context of the word "ChutKara" thanks! It was because Om's FL was supposed to be finally revealed as "Chutki" so Chutki and Omkara makes "Chutkara". That was the context in which Om fans were using it, mostly as a joke.

I also personally think two forums would be good. Because a lot of the times people cant give their opinion here without being talked down to and bullied or mocked. I really dislike the way Gul trivialises everything and makes a mockery of serious issues on her shows, and how anyone who points it out is mocked or called a feminist.

I have been in many forums, but this is one of the worst when it comes to intolerance, and yes it IS a two way street. If we can avoid such behaviors, then having two forums is good. Anyone can "Like" anything they want. But they cant expect other people to like it too, or not say they dislike it. Nor should they be bullied and mocked for saying so.

I think you answered your question yourself.

If you don't like to be forced to like something, then why expect same from those who are liking something!

See each have their own choices n majority knows it's only a show.

Personally I have read more comments insulting girls, in name of women empowerment, who liked shivika!

I respect your dislike for some tracks, likewise you should respect my liking a story! There's zero tolerance here!

This is something amiss on this forum, n frankly it's on both sides...

Lets call a spade a spade. If something is wrong, lets not pretend it is right, or "Justified" just coz we want to watch the show, or we like a character. Why cant we all accept the obvious? There is no need for fan wars if people accept that the story has major draw backs, and they really SHOULD do better!

I know you are not among those who pretend wrong is right. But the blind loving of characters is the issue here. The story loses it's appeal when the characters cannot be justified, nor can they be truly explained. Maybe it is the writer in me that objects to that. I want everything to make sense and characters to stay consistent. Like what happened with Annika or even Omkara. Even Shivaay to an extent. Showing him as someone without a consceince who will victimise anyone? I didnt think he was like that? Yes he was arrogant, but how he acted in forced marriage was not expected, at least by me. So I was mad as hell at Gul and still am to some extent.

Coming to forum issues, ideally we should all be able to co-exist. But sometimes it does not happen.I have seen a few months into the show (when I was not even watching regularly or commenting here, the issue of SS started to crop up and then when I caught up to the show after 3 months, I could see the issue was genuine). Since my main draw was the Brothers I was dissapointed. But maybe finally this spin off will give me the chance to see what I was hoping to see for months!
