Yeah the flashing lights are like the Morse code version of O Jaana.😆 If only this fandom had more people to decode the SYMBOLISM. 😆
I remember this scene during Shivaay's shotgun wedding attempt...he was sitting alone on his bed at night and wishing for a miracle despite himself...good use of the spotlight in that one. Baaki toh they keep doing mood lighting for Anika or Om ke breakdown scenes, I have seen green and purple and red, aur bhi honge. Makes me wonder what they will do for all the mega-shocks about to come knocking on Shivaay's door. 😆 The reasons I look forward to this show- lulz, Billu ki besti, clothes and lighting. 😆
About the Disney-ish feel of Anika's wedding outfit, yeah it looked fantastic in the Bheji thhi dua scene and all those shots where she was holding up her skirt and running away. But during the actual pheras when there was not much movement happening, it looked funny. I noticed they got rid of the underskirt during the post-shaadi scenes at the house and the outfit looked like a modified banarasi saree.
LOL@ the Morse code of O Jaana...too much SYMBOLISM for fangirls there, man...they are happier decoding other non existent meanings in things😆.
Oh yeah I remember the reds and greens in some of the breakdown scenes too...lol but it felt too loud rather than symbolic...didn't really work for me...lol not that that would stop Gul's experimentations😆
I'm really not into crazy fashion to be fascinated by their weird outfits but I can laugh at them, yeah 😆
Re: shaadi outfit...woh shuru se hi modified banarasi sari hi thi...in the scene when she's running away, she didn't have the giant ghoonghat on her head...otherwise skirt was different shuru se hi...blouse was benarasi material and then it seemed like they draped the fabric of the sari around her shoulder like a dupatta...and then put the other net dupattta on her head for the ghoonghat.
My fav. part of that outfit was her kalire...SO pretty.
