Today's episode was somewhat of a relief from the MEGA TRP drama that has been abounding in the last few epis...surprisingly less amount of sindoor, mangalsutra, phere bhaashan today...hallelujah...might as well as enjoy the reprieve while it lasts😆.

The first pleasant surprise of today was Om FINALLY managing to find his dimaag again and confront Shivaay over the shit that he's been pulling😆...since everything in this show is in random mode anyways, I'll take whatever little dimaag people show from time to time...

Striking things to note in this scene:

1) Shivaay's rush to tout his victory in "sorting everything out smoothly"😆...Typical Billu.

2) Om countering this by asking him if in the process of "saving family ki izzat", he HIMSELF has lost respect in the eyes of his brothers, his family...the ONLY thing that made Shivaay pause a bit...so Om did strike a chord after all...Billu ki achilles heel...the very family for which he claims to do everything...what if he loses the respect of that very family? Will it bother him?

Shivaay was stone-faced for much of the first part of this scene and only started to show some emotion when Om brought up this point with regards to what Shivaay has done to Anika.

3) Even Rudra decided to use his dimaag and ask the important question...HOW did Shivaay compel Anika to agree to this marriage? Too bad that question didn't get answered today cuz Rudy is riding his own guilty conscience of hiding his marriage to Soumya...LOL surprised that Om didn't get a FB of himself hiding the accident thing from Shivaay...saare hypocrites bhai😆

The main thing that I was dreading was a doormat version of Anika in this track but so far she's managed to strike a balance between an Anika reeling with the situation at hand and an Anika speaking her mind...like in the first scene with Tia where she called her the long overdue CHEAPDI😆...marveling over her shamelessness...haha Tia ke expressions😆. Even though Tia was trying to humiliate Anika by making her kneel at her feet, Anika carries herself with such self-respect that even kneeling at someone's feet doesn't put a dent in it...it's all in her eyes...Tia can't break that spirit.

Also loved Anika's breakdown scene today...before that I must LOL@ Billu's defensive declaration about how he doesn't maano this shaadi...LOL who asked him to clarify? Confused soul...as if Anika has at any point been running after him demanding some "right"...but he still felt compelled to clarify to HER rather than the Daadi that is shoving this down everyone's throat😆...

Anika's dialogues in the breakdown scene were quite poignant...especially as she describes her weakness and her strength...her khuddari...and the way she laments ruefully in the end that her khuddari got shattered ultimately probably because it was "China ka maal" owing to her middle classness...very Anika-style lines even as she despairs about how her spirit took a hit...SC was really good in this scene with the way she brings out Anika's hurt at all that has happened to her as being dismissed as "kuch hua hi nahin"...she managed to express it quite impactfully without typical histrionics.

Shivaay on the other hand😆...confused soul...looked quite moved by Anika's breakdown and bhaashan on khuddaari but then stops just short of consoling her, randomly snuffs out a candle, does his ninja hair stunt and takes off😆😆...I was just thankful they didn't randomly insert the Daksh ONS MU ka FB there again😆.

All the ragging aside, two things seem constant in this track right now...a) Shivaay's determination to harden himself...it's as if he's retreated deep into some shell inside him and refuses to show any signs of empathy or softness to anyone around him right now...most especially if anyone points out the injustice he's meted out to Anika...the more they point it out, the more he feels the need to become stone-faced and parrot out lines about not believing in any of this...and b) Anika's struggle to cope with what's happened...she looks a little lost right now between being pulled around by Daadi, listening to Shivaay's almost comically defensive attempts to callously dismiss the shaadi and then finding her own feet somehow ...Given the spark she shows somewhat intermittently, I hope to see Anika land back on her feet soon enough and make Billu dance a merry dance once again 😆

Precap was comical to me...Shivaay was just standing like a statue as Tia snaked her arms all over him😆...why do they even go for such scenes when there is no chemistry there?😆...upar se Daadi dragging Anika around like she's her fav. doll that she's going to set next to her Billu😆

I can see that writer is finally giving SSO some brain back.. installment mein hi sahi but wapas aa raha hai..

I frankly did not want Anika to break down in front of SSO, but wanted her to break down akele mein and then pick herself up.. But chalo.. ache dialogues ke liye yeh bhi chalega.. 😃

Chi Chi.. ShiTia romance.. Ganda Singh Oberoi.. 🤢

a) Why is he hardening himself.. Oh No.. 😭 Toh phir he has not even felt guilty about this whole mess even once 😡

b) Anika OM ke bahar jayegi toh cope up karegi na.. Subh se shyaam emotional tortures.. She just needs to move out.. 😔

It was a really good episode after long! Actually I've only been reading WU for past 2 episodes or so and I so didnt catch all the reactions/dialogues of the characters in detail, so missed a few details here and there cuz pics don't show everything. But I'm glad I decided to watch tonight's episode cuz FINALLY people reprimanded that Billu for his harkateein warna toh he was on his way to becoming Rajnikanth...

Om'a dialogues could have a foreshadowing (like they usually do), so I do feel like Shivaay will be losing respect of his family big time when all the secrets come out in the open. But iss family ka koi bharosa nahi, I don't think they are gonna take very long to forgive his crimes/mistakes and go back to happy family once again. Dadi might even say that Rab aisa chahta tha Billu ki tu aisi kaand kare aur phir Annika tujhe aur teri 'galtiyon' ko sudhare. 😆 Like she's gonna say to Om...Rab chahta tha ki tu accident case mein involved ho phir drugs ka sahare le aur satyavaadi ban

I felt Annika'a breakdown scene paralleled that rain sequence when she broke down too and he watched her in his rear-view mirror. He felt guilty there too but then he shut his side window and drove off...here he snuffed the flame in the candle, did his ninja stunt and walked away. 😆 Yes, thankfully no Daksh MU FB inserted phew. 😆

Billu is clarifying more to himself that he doesn't accept this marriage than to anyone else. 😆 I don't know if I should judge (but I felt this from Wednesday episode WU) that unconsciously he's starting to accept this marriage too. Can you clarify this? I found his attempts callously defensive too. 😆

Precap: Was there supposed to be any chemistry? I thinking Billu is supposed to be stoic and unresponsive there. I laugh seeing at what they've done to Tia. Such a hilarious caricature in the name of a vamp. They give her such a horrible wardrobe just to further set her apart from Annika. In the reception she looked like a bar dancer and in the upcoming ring finding rasam episode her outfit is even trashier. 😆 Kyun bhai, vamps can't be classy kya? And what happened to her man Dushyant? Koi usse toh batao usski wife kya kya kaand kar rahi hai Billu ke saath. 😆

@bold: LOL she did leave OM in b/w...Daadi's the one that's dragged her back😆...you have to see the epis to understand the level of emotional atyachaar Daadi is laying on Anika and Anika toh shuru se hi Daadi ki har baat maanti hai like a good girl...so it's tough for her right now😆

Re: breakdowns...lol akele mein bhi breakdown ho chuka hai Anika ka...she's had multiple breakdowns since the marriage...understandably😆

But today's epi was a step up...Anika is going to find her spirit again and strike back soon I feel.

Also, I did see some off-screen where she was at her home and SSO-Dadi are at her place(where he tried to break her MS). I was happy that she is staying away from OM.. Kahan pata tha Dadi emotional blackmail karne aayi hai..!! 😆

@bold: The question right now isn't really of acceptance...the question is about hurt and anger. I don't think either Anika or Shivaay are consciously thinking about acceptance regarding this marriage...both of them are mainly grappling with immense hurt...and in Shivaay's case there is more anger too. He's basically been kinda off his rocker since the ONS MU...he feels betrayed by Anika on some level but doesn't even want to acknowledge that he feels that...cuz acknowledging that would mean he also has to acknowledge that he's hurt, that she affects him...and that's when he starts unraveling. He's hurt because he had started to trust her, started to admit to the "jo humaare beech"...now all that's gone for a toss. Ofcourse he won't stop to introspect that he was busy getting ready to marry Tia in the background regardless😆...he still feels hurt by Anika and to counter that, he clings to the other extreme...becoming absolutely stone-hearted, stone-faced again and repeating his claims over and over about how none of this means anything.

I almost feel like he needs to keep repeating that also because he doesn't want to COPE with the magnitude of what he's done to Anika...it's easier to dismiss it, deny it, pretend it hardly happened rather than process the level to which he fell in doing this...cuz each time his brothers bring it up, there is that slight chink in his armor even as he tries to coldly dismiss their emotional pleas.

In Anika's case also, they are keeping the dialogues mainly focussed on her hurt over what has happened to her, the blow she's been dealt in such a horrible way...the actual reality of the marriage might be acknowledged on a subconscious level vis a vis the MS but on a conscious level, I don't think Anika's mind is there at all...she's moving through the rasams and events like a robot...her heart and mind aren't there...she's still in trauma...which is why she barely even reacts much when Shivaay repeats to her yet again today that he doesn't believe in this marriage and the divorce will come through again...she has this matter of fact expression on her face like she isn't even surprised by what he's saying...it's only when he says, "Kuch hua hi nahin" that she reacts.

There is a pain in the silence b/w them because even though the debate is all about the acknowledgement of the shaadi right now, neither of them is willing to bring up the real source of the hurt...that they both feel let down and hurt by each other...the shaadi is just a prop and a technicality everyone is dancing around...the crux of their relationship is bigger than that and they both know, but they won't say it lest the other accuse them of actually caring.

Re: precap...lol dunno if it was about the chemistry but Shivaay looked too comically stiff even by his usual awkward standards...anyways, the show continues to deliver on comical irreverence I suppose...ki aisa scene bhi comedy ho jaata hai😆

And yesss...I'm also thinking about poor Dushyant...Tia ko aise Shivaay ke saath dekhega toh bechaare ka dil hi toot jaayega😆

He felt guilty there too but then he shut his side window and drove off...here he snuffed the flame in the candle, did his ninja stunt and walked away. 😆 Yes, thankfully no Daksh MU FB inserted phew. 😆 LOL yes I guess the scene was supposed to show Billu trying to tamp down his softening emotions and harden himself again...difference is that way back in the rain sequence, they were still at a point where it applied...since then, Billu had evolved into crazily fussing over Anika every chance he got😆...so that Billu now managing to harden himself again means that Billu ke control panel mein easily accessible REBOOT button hai jo har MU ke baad activate hota rahega😆...Anyways, I'm resigned to it...there's LULZ to be found in him randomly doing his ninja stunt at the end of such an emotional breakdown from Anika...yeh bandaa cartoon hi rahega. 😆

Oh that scene aired in yesterday's epi and it was really good😆...not the MS breaking part, but Anika and Shivaay's argument about how neither of them acknowledge the marriage😆...Daadi beech mein referee ki tarhaan khadi thi...it was almost comical ...at one point I was getting deja vu of the scene when he walked her home at night and then they got into an argument over "Jo humaare beech" saying "Meri taraf se toh bilkul nahin hai"😆. Itna sab hone ke baad bhi their ego battle was rock solid in this scene...Shivaay looked pissed when she said she doesn't acknowledge the marriage😆...even though he himself keeps repeating it on a loop.

Baad mein it all went downhill with Daadi ka lame bhaashan but itna portion in b/w was good😆

Billu felt the need to take Anika's hand and take her all the way to his (SR decorated) room😆 simply to tell her that he doesn't accept this shaadi? LOL

Also interesting that he mentioned how he doesn't care what anyone else thinks but he wants HER to know where he stands on the shaadi...LOL kyun, Billu? 😆 Didn't you yourself declare that Anika doesn't hold any significance in your life? So why the need to clarify to her of all people? You've already treated her like an entity with no will of her own, with the way you compelled her...so why the farce now? Perhaps to appease your own confused mind? Which wants to simultaneously hold on to her as well as push her away?

LOL or I wonder if this is really how Shivaay interpreted Om's lecture about how he should have told Anika if he was about to declare Tia as his wife in the reception...so this is Shivaay's remedial action? lol😆
