Very good analysis. Would like to add a few of my own thoughts.
Annika's reaction yesterday truly got me thinking. Do the Oberois really consider her as their family? I think not. See, not a single soul from Oberoi mansion bothered asking her yesterday if she was alright except Shivaay. Not even Daadi. Sure, she showed her concern and asked Annika to take some rest due to her injuries. But even that concern looked more routine than anything else. Like it's completely normal for a girl to be stalked and attacked every other day and she is expected to report to work the next day, you show her some frivolous concern and then rinse repeat in the following incident. It's this normalising of the whole stalker issue by the Oberoi family that is bothering me atm. Do you think they would be reacting in the same glib fashion if...say Prinku was attacked in the same manner? I think not.
This particular scene was very poignant in the way it highlighted this, with the way the frame shifted quickly to Pinky and then Jahnvi. Both ladies and the manner in which they just increased Annika's workload without a care in the world (despite her very obvious injuries) sort of just illustrated that they regard Annika as nothing more than just an employee. And it hurt me seeing that so I'm sure it must have hurt Annika ten folds more. They sort of highlighted this in the next frame, with Annika's subtle shift of expressions from that cordial smile to that lifeless, morose expression. And not a single soul noticed this except Shivaay when she came down to the sangeet dressed to the nines in gold and glitter but inside, she was just aching to get out of there. Shivaay noticed that pain in her eyes. And only he noticed...
