I loved the fact that she was visibly uncomfortable from the minute she walked in. Even though she didn't want to be there she still went and did her job. It was very realistic.

From her reaction its not just Shivaay, but her relationship with his family changed too. She has always been polite when interacting with them, but this time there was a coldness in her politeness. She handled all their frivolous concerns, but she was guarded with the way she completely shut down Dadi's concern for her without being rude. The way her smile dropped when her back was turned to them while she was walking away might be foreshadowing. I really liked that scene because it showed how much they take her presence in their lives for granted.

It's obvious now that she isn't comfortable anymore with them. I don't blame her if it was me I would be wondering what is behind those smiles. Do they think so lowly of me too? Even when she hated him she never had any complaints about his family. Matter of fact, at one point his family was his only good quality and now that has been tainted. She will continue to help them if the situation arises, but that's it. They could call her family until their blue in the face and she won't believe them. I wouldn't be surprised if she does really send Sahil to boarding school to keep him far away from them.

The Sangeet scene her body language screamed "I don't want to be here with these people" not " I'm sad he is marrying Tia." It was a mixture of anger and discomfort to me. She didn't want to be apart of any of it because the smokescreen is gone. Making her feel like family and arranging clothes for her ...everything seems so insincere now. She thought better of him and his family despite all their flaws but now she has a clear idea of what they think of her.

Tia's wording was crass, but it's not too far from what he thinks about poor people. His entire perspective won't change overnight because he has the hots for his wedding planner. He could sense something was wrong and came to the conclusion that she is miserable because he is marrying Tia. I don't blame him for not pursuing the matter because he already decided and it's not her. What else is there to talk about? He knows exactly what he wants and that has always been a women like Tia. Now she is getting engaged to another man he can't say anything even if it's literally killing him.

With their egos I can see this turning into a disturbing game of chicken. Neither Shivaay or Anika will swerve and they will eventually collide into each other leading to their epic wedding. We can look forward to 'I don't love you/ I don't love you more" arguments in the future 😆

Very well dine analysis
I totally agree

And I would give credit to Surbhi or bringing out all the emotions so accurately without many words

Even Nakkul

Both of them nailed it with their expressions

Thanks for pointing out that scene with the Oberoi ladies. that scene struck me as weird, but your pov made it clear, how she she suddenly mistrustful and painfully aware that this is just a job. Tia has taken the sense of belonging away. it's really sad now.

My heart aches for Annika. She looks so lost and vulnerable , I feel like whisking her away from these Oberois for awhile. Or holding her hand and helping her out. She really needs a friend, someone like Sahil. Such a shame that the actor playing him is unavailable at this crucial time.

I feel mad at Shivaay. What is he trying to do? Doesn't he realize he's at his own Sangeet? you know where he's the freaking GROOM !! Stay the hell away from Annika already...!! You can't keep her at arms length AND pull her closer to you at the same time.

With what right did you feel you could decide for her on the eve of your own wedding, Shivaay ?
Kis Haq se ?

I feel awful for Shivaay , but his cowardly behaviour made him deserve this.

Very good analysis. Would like to add a few of my own thoughts.

Annika's reaction yesterday truly got me thinking. Do the Oberois really consider her as their family? I think not. See, not a single soul from Oberoi mansion bothered asking her yesterday if she was alright except Shivaay. Not even Daadi. Sure, she showed her concern and asked Annika to take some rest due to her injuries. But even that concern looked more routine than anything else. Like it's completely normal for a girl to be stalked and attacked every other day and she is expected to report to work the next day, you show her some frivolous concern and then rinse repeat in the following incident. It's this normalising of the whole stalker issue by the Oberoi family that is bothering me atm. Do you think they would be reacting in the same glib fashion if...say Prinku was attacked in the same manner? I think not.

This particular scene was very poignant in the way it highlighted this, with the way the frame shifted quickly to Pinky and then Jahnvi. Both ladies and the manner in which they just increased Annika's workload without a care in the world (despite her very obvious injuries) sort of just illustrated that they regard Annika as nothing more than just an employee. And it hurt me seeing that so I'm sure it must have hurt Annika ten folds more. They sort of highlighted this in the next frame, with Annika's subtle shift of expressions from that cordial smile to that lifeless, morose expression. And not a single soul noticed this except Shivaay when she came down to the sangeet dressed to the nines in gold and glitter but inside, she was just aching to get out of there. Shivaay noticed that pain in her eyes. And only he noticed...

This scene was before Tia confronted her with the money, which I found interesting. She seemed disillusioned with them all. Probably wondering who is real and who is fake.

Sahil would have helped her not feel alone. Right now, she is being cornered Shivaay in front of her and Daksh behind her. The stalker and the old hag are waiting in the shadows. One thing is clear her strength comes from Sahil. She isn't afraid and fights so hard because she wants to protect him. It's not surprising his absence and the stalker incident made her lose some of her fight.

Shivaay wants her in his life without making any sacrifices. She is no less than him ego wise so he'll be in for a surprise. He will continue to go thru with the wedding with Tia and her with Daksh. Like I mentioned earlier, they are playing a dangerous game of chicken and neither will swerve, but somehow they will ended up married 😆

The particular scene to me was to highlight her importance in their lives. Nothing gets done without her, but you're right she might have felt like you said that she is just another employee. No one bothered about her well-being except ironically Shivaay. She helped them so many times but their concern is fleeting.
