I predicted it long back that Rudr's character has much more depth than whatzz been shown, he might be vulnerable for his family but for the love of his life he'll be the hardest nut to crack. He doesn't believe in long-term relationships and don't ever want to commit to someone. His trust has developed very naturally in Somu but it all broke in a single moment and its really hard for her to regain his trust.

Vulnerabilities of Shivaay and Om were shown right from the start but for Rudr its mostly physical other than something related to his bros. He cries loudest when he's physically hurt but when his heart hurts the sound is so silent that not even his bros can notice it. No one in the whole house noticed that he and Somu had a rift after which he was too moody.

I'm standing on my forever bias that Rudr is my most favourite character of this show. I love this saying that the funniest people are often the saddest people. He's the source of happiness for his bros and he literally lightens up the house which is otherwise too screwed up to live in.

Really enjoyed your analysis of the character - especially because Rudra has become my favourite ever since this track with Souyma has picked up.

More than anything applause to Leenesh for being able to portray this character so wonderfully - it is a treat to watch him regardless if he's the cute little brother or the possessive husband ( if you can even call it that).

I don't know if this new side of his is an indication of a future sparrow of downhill emotions - but I'm here for it. Like you said it is a nice contrast from a more mature take on a similar situation with Shivika and for that reason it is more fun to watch.

Shivaay has always acted with his intellect/ brain, Omkara with his heart/compassion/moral compass. Rudra, yet to come into his own, links his family together with Love. Tensions immediately calm down because he lightens the mood for everyone. It isn't easy being this person.

Its obvious he hasn't fallen in love before. He had a fanboy attachment to Love Angel, only to discover she was Soumya.

His conundrum: His idea of a gorgeous woman is slipping. The body beautiful turned out to be utterly psychopathic, and the shining soul has a weight problem. He finds Soumya increasingly pretty to gaze at and is stubbornly denying it. He thinks the girl Rudra picks must be a sight to behold. Such is the idealism he has erected in his head.

He calls her Sumo. He constantly makes fun of her weight, and eating habits. Instead of listening to the message, she raises her shields against the insults. It's not that overweight people don't know they are so, they have their moments in front of their mirrors everyday. They don't need people to point it out all the time. So if they realize they are so, can they will themselves thin overnight? Its a journey, hard and testing.

Soumya is a sweet girl, caring and sensitive. She is not only measured by her kgs. Rudra is being mean by being possessive of her and shaming her as well.. It feels like.. bullying..

Here is one major problem and that is Somu would never be what Rude wants physically as she's comfortable in her weight, it's really important that one feels comfortable in his/her own skin... She would never even try to become what Rudr wants, he should learn to love the person for their good qualities instead of nitpicking their bad ones. No, wait... She might try to become his ideal girl someday if she starts loving him by strenuous workout and diets, that would break his heart. Rumya seems to be much more interesting than Shivika for me.

in this way, ShivIka and RumYa are similar. Both men have ideals in their image of a wife, which their heart did not obey. Shivaay wants a socialite , old money wealth and aristocrasy (style need not matter 😆) , and Rudra wants a gorgeous eye candy to hang on his arm.

They will both have to learn to accept their loves as they are . . for they are not perfect themselves.. .

But lemme tell you...every coin has two sides so does this one...!

Bigdu has a heart of a baby..!

Ab baby shaitaani bhi karta hai

i think some amount of tears and heart breaks are necessary in a love story... and coming to the obros... i think gul has given those multi shades to them where the love story has to design...

rudra who is other wise a happy go lucky duffer oberoi is actually turning out to be aggressive where his lady is concerned.. even soumya probably never dreamt of seeing this side of rudra.. though rudra probably understands love more than shivaay ... infact he could even lecture shivaay how he likes annika.. yet in his own case he is unable to realise it.. rudra is serious about his accidental wedding over soumya.. its a welcome change cos in most serials u would see the girl getting serious about her wedding... this wedding mentally exists and legally doesnt.. but for rudra its very much there and he might just out of sheer possesiveness end up hurting soumya i feel.. i m totally liking the way the writers have taken to make rumya so interesting for me.. that matters the most..

even coming to omkar.. though he is most matured and least sexist unlike shivaay.. he is most grey to me.. he believes in truth and trust and yet he himself is hiding truth.. whoever his lady love will be will nit find a easy way into his heart without she herself going a few series of heart breaks...

infact shivaay who initially has come across most agressive among the three is coming across most soft of the inside.. anika has been sucessful in bringing out the nice guy from inside of the stone framed shivaay...
