I think some major dhamaka is scheduled during the Diwali celebrations in the show.

The promo is the only indicator. I get the Rudra marrying Soumya bit, but the Shivika and Om parts are very ambiguous and keep up the surprise quotient.

being self made is great...but what shivaay does is no cake walk either...yes he didn't build an empire from scratch but maintaining that empire requires skills and abilities too...it's no destiny or "lottery" as anika says.

Also in today's epi anika says to shivaay that she has always lived without anybody's help and does not want to change this habit of hers...correct me if I am wrong but did not dadi help her monetarily? that too with a huge sum of money?

Only literally after Shivay himself destroyed every avenue for income and support. Aanika didn't go to Kalyani for help or support. That was Kalyan's own decision; she placed the order to stop the demolition by putting the property under her own name instead of Shivay's. Aanika being given power of attorney over Sahil and the property were things that she had under control until Shivay sabotaged it in his 3-day challenge. What Kalyani did was to rectify Shivay's misdeed; cleaning up the mess he made out of rage and misconception without so much as a proper investigation. Even so, Aanika is paying Kalyani back in installments for the help.

I agree that what Shivay is maintaining is nothing to scoff at but his family name and the wealth has opened doors for him that are not available to the ordinary man. The empire was built by his grandfather, (possibly) father and uncle and he is maintaining it through his own business acumen but Shivay is in the position he is in because he was born an Oberoi. Would he have been given an empire had he been Aanika's position, unless he built it himself or worked really hard for it? Shivay's pride is misplaced. What his family has achieved is definitely something to be proud of but it does not excuse arrogance, sense of superiority or belittling others, which is what Shivay tends to do because he believes Oberois to be more worthy than others. We've seen it on different occasions with Aanika but more notably in how he handled the Chhabras, who were of equal status but their son lacked the 'family name'.

ditto since oberois are very powerful n unke lie koi punishment nahi h but the way he did with anika shivaay pe ek case bnta tha ... so yeahh

@serialactivists - yes...nothing justifies shivaay's arrogance...I keep bashing him...some of the shivika/shivaay fans here might be aware of that...it's just that I wanted to point out once that what shivaay does is not completely easy either...and if shivaay belittles anika then even anika fails to realize that shivaay is not all about the "lottery"...but this is SP's nayi soch in an old bottle...how can they appreciate anyone other than the female lead?
