So.. I was going thru my twitter n I found Harneet Singh's message :

Some one had asked about why shivaay does nt/will not trust Annika...fr which she replied::

"What kind of a man would Shivaay be if he doubts his fianc on the very first instant? Will you ever respect such a man? Think."

Ideally, I would have liked that there be no Anika saving Shivaay from Tia. Someone else - OmRu handling it or even Shivaay figuring it out himself would have been great for a change. Alas, tamanna dil mein reh gayi😆

I think there is a good chance of your prediction happening, Napster.
If SSO is in love and Anika is susceptible to him, then Tia's exposure clears the path to their milan. Phir kya? Nothing. More girna-pakadna, more eyelocks. And as you know, marriage kills romance in our serials. The pair that panted when they saw each other will start living like siblings, hugging two corners of their bed.

Out of three love stories, one gets resolved. Then it is just Om and Rudra's stories. The balance will be lost, especially as Rumya get married. So I think the writers will want to keep all three stories burning. Maybe we will get episodes with time carved out for all three bros who are chasing their ladies. That will keep the interest going.

Right now only Tia and the lakeer are keeping SSO and Anika apart. Once Tia and her affair plus her plan are revealed, it is only the lakeer between them. And this lakeer is not strong enough to keep them apart. SSO's family has accepted Anika as one of their own and SSO has already fallen hard.

So the plot needs another block or hurdle between SSO and Anika. And that might very well be SSO's ego ruling his tongue, making him spew abuses at her. Then the promo happens.

Also, Tia's departure from the story takes away Anika's excuse for frequenting Oberoi mansion.

Though Tia doesn't made any dent in Shivay heart, she is a huge ego boost for his hard wired beliefs - khoon, khaandaan and all. Her betrayal thus not only affect Shivay Singh oberio but his FAMILY as well. So it will be a huge blow to his ego that he failed yo see through Tia putting his family in an embarrassing situation despite Anika attempt. Anika being the root of the exposure will face the fury of the egomaniac. He is affected by her as she is by him. So hit her where it hurts the most. Tia back stabbing would challenge Shivay core beliefs he has been nurturing for years. This is going to be a huge turning point in Shivika relation. I just hope this clash does not happen in front of the family. Let it be a private moment bw them. Let their best and worst moments be a private affair. Anika will be shattered but she ia used to picking herself up to move on. She will build the wall around her heart to let anyone hurt her like Shivay did.
In all this, if Tia or her bf attempts to push anika in a near fatal state, that would be an icing on cake. Anika will give cold shoulder to Shivay while he will burn in dousing the fire he unleashed on her. And of course Om words will prove true at the right time. In the end, Shivay will be more broken than Anika.

About Shivika marriage, it's not going to be based on love or hatred for that matter. It's my opinion. Shivay won't touch that extreme end to push her into marriage nor Anika is this weak to bend her self respect. Lets c what Gul has to offer.

I always believed that Shivika did not need a jealousy track. This is because their relationship is crowded already. Shivvay, his ego, his khoon-khan Dan and Annika. He has his competition already and it is he himself.
If a third man who was serious competition entered he would back off as it would be his escape route.
I know as much as I hate it the insults seem to be certain to fly with the unmasking of Tia. I would however prefer her being shot and critical after she has tried to bring him proof and has failed.
It will be more preferable that he stalls a second attempt on her life himself while she lays at deaths door and catches Tia with 'Lal haath' himself.
That should start his redemption track well as he will beg Annika to come back from deaths door to give him a second chance.
I also want OmRu, dadi and the rest to let him wallow in guilt and not try to convince Annika to forgive him. This journey has to be done alone - the old Shivvay has to die in order for the new one to be reborn
And please Annika and Sahil do not make this easy for him.

Awesome thread @napstermonster ❤️

1. Tia

She's definitely not a villain. She actually Ms Right (Mallika is Ms Even Better 😆) for Shivaay. He gets to be himself, do whatever he wants and she obeys. There is not intimacy or emotional investments, like two people agreeing to be roommates with benefits. Both get to stay as they are and do what they want. Win-Win situation. Shivaay summons her when he needs her, and she can have secret meetings with her clandestine BF in a dingy massage parlour.

Tia is in it to save her family from financial troubles. Her mother wants this marriage more than her. If Robin is the BF then the mother knows it, and had the cruelty to make him sit and listen to the wedding talks as well. Even more than the Chabras, the Kapoors are portrayed as making bigger fools of the Oberois by cheating and ulterior motives.

But is it really? Many families see marriage as a way to strengthen finances. It only becomes a problem when one of the parties is in love with someone else, right?

Which is why your statement about Tia being the one to bring out Shivaay's bad side was interesting.

Lavanya (from IPKKND) turned from a mean-girl-biatch to a good friend to Khushi. Lavanya eventually became a very nice fiancee for ASR, and breaking her heart upset us as viewers as well. By breaking her heart, ASR had to contend with a large amount of guilt, and Khushi too would not feel good to be the reason for her good friend to be jilted (but she didn't know at the time, she just assumed ASR was a cad and a rakshaas and ate hearts for fun).

Here, they carefully inserted hints for Tia to be the convenient baddie, like she will somehow deserve to be jilted. She was the perfect fiancee, until this Robin, hooded skulker, shadow hugger, secret massage parlour date was inserted. Tia , who was an airheaded Universe worshipping, Reiki practitioner, does not look like she's in love. A person in love wouldn't marry someone else and be so blase about it. Something doesn't quite click there. Weirdness.

2. Annika

I couldn't put word's to it until i read your post and the accompanying replies. She is becoming overconfident in her ability to affect Shivaay, reciprocally Shivaay is becoming less stable because of it. She knows she means something to him, but she is encouraged by the love his whole family gives her so generously.

The Oberois love her. Save for ambivalent Tej and Shakti, and Pinky, everyone else kind of ship Shivaay with her. I'm just worried that something will happen that will make her a persona non grata in the house, and everyone will hate her...

Anika can easily be forced to do anything anyone wants her to do . All anyone has to do is just target Sahil--and if its Shivaay himself doing it, he has the ammunition in his house, he even knows how effective it is on her.

So he might decide, I love her, I want her, I'll have her here, with me, in any way I can. Baad mei baki sab kuch dekh lenge. She will feel trapped and fight him. Or Anika might be brought in by Dadi, as a reluctant wife for Shivaay after the whole Tia thing was too much for the Oberois to go through. If Dadi brings her, in exchange for money, its enough to drive a wedge there, too. Hell, in true ASR style, Shivaay might do it because he believes the worst, because of some stupidity she did during the whole Tia thing. Somehow, he has gotten the idea that she is also a gold digger, and now he wants to punish her, and wont let her go.

How will any of this even work? Well for me, this show has something IPKKND didn't
have, and suffered, because it didn't have it. It has allies. Allies for Shivaay in Om and Rudra, who tell him to his face when he is wrong, who tease him unmercifully, or scream at him to show him his mistakes. Who he listens to, and trusts, with his life. Who are NOT dumb or manipulative, but good, decent men.

And those same allies are on Anika's side, and will always speak to her, protecting and loving her. And Anika has a little ally, who is underrated, but is her true strength and her voice of reason--Sahil. I hope they don't ship him off, and bring him into the Mansion with her. Om and Rudra and Sahil, too, are the essential connections for Shivika, to make it as a couple. That is how the Dil Bole Oberoi will actually help the strongest of the brothers. Honestly, other than this, Om and Rudra don't have much to offer their stronger. older, much more sorted Bhaiya. Helping him win back Anika might be how the Great Wall Of Shivaay gets his true reward, from his OBros.

Wont bringing her back damage ShivIka more emotionally? Anika being rude and unwilling would hurt anika and Shivaay to a great extent which he deserves...i would hate to see anika bowing down in the end because shivaay suddenly realised his love for her...
If shivaay marries anika instead of tia wouldnt he know tias reality by then? so he would actually believe anika by then...
I homestly dont know how things will go from what they are showing now...its like having expectations will hurt us more

Judging from the picture in your signature, you are as aware as I am of Gul's track record for how she likes to make the hero "repent"--and I recall Anika owes Dadi-ji a good thirty lakh, and the deed to Sahil's house, not to mention his power of attorney. some seriously good "break the girl so she has no choice but to accept a bucket of water and my sorry in lieu of her self respect" material there.

If Gul does not return to the IPKKND trope of having the so far benign, nice character (Anjali back then/Dadi now) who was always adored by the heroine, who then suddenly reveals blackmailery- fangs to help her male family member secure his LURVE, I will eat my very expensive new laptop.

I honestly think we will see everything -- from the whole "I will pay you/not force you to repay me if you come back" to the "come back, here is me kidnapping you, or creating a big scene, so you have to come back" to the "I think emotional torture as you worry about your sibling will get you to come back" lines of thinking. If its not going to be a rehash of Shivaay forcing his love down her throat, through every means he can manage, Gul wont sleep well at night.

I guess I'd better put my hopes of "nayi soch" back in storage. IB may be bigger and glossier visually but the strings that make it all happen are as purani as ever!

Have not watched many episodes since her hug scene was shown so can't comment on present but would like to say something from past
I wonder why omru enjoy criticizing her just because she is not the heroine?
The fact that she is having a relationship actually makes me happy
At least she would be away from such a person who won't take a stand for her when his brothers constantly criticize her for no reason
She is not so harmful yet
I really want her exit to depict that the way billu treated her, neglected her is so not a way to behave with one's fiance
The fact that this relationship she is having should be due to constant delay of marriage on billu's part
Nowadays it's a new concept that the person who is not in the lead is actually not that bad like earlier times but is good but ends up being bechara in the end with people mocking at them
This indirectly makes the lead as a desperate person who actually is not
It would be very new if tia exits like sheena from mjht who before leaving actually gives a kick on the hero's head ki see you loved heroine and your indecisiveness wastes everyone's time and you are no God to control everyone's life.
It should be positive but not bechari
At least that's what should be nayi soch tagine of star plus according to me where no girl ends up in tears if she is not actually a sadist.
And when she turns a sadist or negative easily the protagonist who is also responsible gets an escape route for blame game
Cvs want to first test patience limit of the other character then finally even then that character can't be proved wrong they directly make him or her negative drastically
I personally feel shivika were enough why to hurt someone else for their love story it seems like one has to show an ok person bad so automatically the positive person turns pious
They should have kept it a simple love story no need of shaadi track,no hurting someone else and no need of any antagonist to hurt the protagonist.
