"Wow....." Vanya gasped in utter amusement. A beautiful snowflake landed on her soft, small finger.

Looking up, a smile carved on her lips seeing little white snowflakes falling down from her sky. A cute chuckle escaped her lips feeling one of them falling on her lashes.

"Vanu- Oh my god! What are you doing there!"

Riddhima ran into the front yard. Did she seriously got out in the snow wearing pajamas and her ears and neck covered with nothing?

Picking her up, she instantly got inside sliding the glass door locked.

Riddhima's eyes popped out of the sockets hearing a faint cough. No, no, no, this can't happen! Flashes of the night came in front of her eyes when she was admitted in the hospital with over a 102 degree fever. Tears pooled in her eyes remembering how her daughter's eyes were puffed up in tiredness.

"Jai!!" She called out, almost breaking into a sob.

Aryan looked around, spreading the margarine on his bread.

The dining space was busy. All the chairs were in use, except two.

Siya and Vansh's.

They both stopped having meals with the family long ago. It was served in their respective rooms.

"When's exactly the flight?" Ishani asked, biting into an apple.

"In 2 hours. Be ready everyone." Came the answer from Angre. He knew not everyone was going. It was only Dadi, Ishani and Aryan.

"Chill, Riddhima." Jai tried to calm her down.

"See, I gave her the medicines and it will all be fine." He pointed at Vanya, who fell into a deep, comforting sleep on her lap.

"Why are you crying, yaar!"

He hates to see her cry. Being friend with her since childhood, he always had known her as a bright, positive girl who only knew to smile. Until..

"I'm sorry-" she tried to voice out, wiping her tear with the free hand.

"You're business partner is coming today right?"

"Yup." he replied. "With his family."

"Cool, I'll just go and make something." Riddhima walked upstairs, to lay her sleeping daughter on the bed, unknown of the storm that was on its way..
