I guarantee you won't like Sangat because the story is just beyond stupid. I wish they had shown the theme of the drama in a different light more so to educate the masses of such incidences and also to bring some sort of awareness to the ideologies that plague society. If you do choose to watch, then you'll understand what I mean.

I'm actually behind on MPTH, but I am aware of what'll ensue in the coming weeks. My heart too bleeds for Danish's selfless love. Hats off to Humayun Saeed for his fantastic portrayal of Danish! 👏 He is the eminence of MPTH in my eyes. 😍

@Dazz @Ami . i am not keen to watch Sanjeevani 2 .I was such a fan of Dr.Rahul Dr. Juhi pairing in season1 that i was not excited when Rahul character was left out but still was thinking of giving it a try . But Now that i hear there is a romantic angle to Dr.Juhi and Dr.Shashank i dont know what to say!! Its really gross after being a fan of season 1 for me . Their relationship was almost like a Elder brother and sister types (apart from being a mentor mentee who respected each other the most ) in Season1 . And also Dr. Shashank already had 2 woman in his life in season 1. I dont know what to make of that character now !!! I hope i havent spoiled it for you though.

Will try to catch up with some of the series you guys are watching but not sure when i can. Anyway will try to visit this forum more often to catch up with you guys ❤️

I'm not sure, Ami. If you intent is to watch for a good story, then you might want to skip this show. If you want to watch good performances by the senior cast of the show, then I suggest you watch a couple of episodes to get the feel of the show. 😊

Did anyone catch the first episode of Idol 11 this weekend? I just finished watching Saturday's episode and there seem to be an abundance of talent this season as well. Some of the backstories of these participants are so inspiring and others quite depressing. I was surprised to see Azmat of SRGMP Little Champs on Idol 11 and even sadder to hear of his story. I can only hope that he seeks the right kind of help and is able to make the most of this opportunity. So far Aditya Naryan seems to be doing fine as the new anchor of the show. I've always loved Aditya on SGRMP format, but I felt he didn't excel on the Rising Star platform. It might've been because the format was that of a live show, but I often felt Aditya became awkward or would crack jokes that nobody would understand. I hope he's at more ease on Indian Idol and impresses his fans who have been following his journey.

Based on your input, I looked Up the story of Sangat on Wiki & decided not to watch. Didn’t sound interesting at all. Thanks for the warning, Dazz 😊

So I was just discussing the plot of MTPH with a friend & found out this show might be a tamer version ( hopefully ) of a HW movie “Gift”. Initially I wondered if it was more on the lines of “Indecent proposal” but looks like the HW movie was lot more decent than this 🙁. Honestly Shawar’s dialogues are sooo cringeworthy🥱. Also heard this show is based on a true story & “Gift” was too, I believe. If that’s true, then I think we need to brace ourselves up for some pretty creepy stuff later on😳.

Quite honestly Mish, Mikaal as the chronic alcoholic was not appealing at all especially when you're used to an actor donning very charismatic and dignified roles. Although Saba Qamar impresses in any role she takes on, I just couldn't assimilate the glamourization of rape in this drama. The antagonist of the show was glorified as a saviour while becoming an honourary family member in this whole saga. Lastly, it didn't make any sense to me at all how a person who claimed to be head over heels for someone could stoop so low as to snatch the very dignity and respect of their so-called love in such a cruel and disgusting manner. The goddamned rapist played victim throughout the entire drama! 😡

Is MPTH based off a Hollywood movie? Hmmm interesting, I didn't know. From what I've been given as a precap, Mehwish will be tantalized by all of the attention given to her by Shahwar. He'll propose marriage to her and she'll divorce Danish for the affluent life Shahwar has to offer. Shahwar's first wife will return and have Mehwish thrown out of the house and Shahwar's life in the form of divorce. Mehwish will then return to Danish who will have become a very successful man. I'm not sure whether this precap holds any truth, but this is what I've been told and based off the OST it does seem Mehwish does leave Danish for Shahwar. I've only watched the show until episode 5, so I have a lot of catching up to do. 😳

Guys, I started this drama recently and would totally recommend to the three of you to watch. The story seems unique with two powerhouse performers - Hamza Ali Abbas and Sajal Aly. Ahsan Khan is also a fantastic actor. I have a feeling you guys are all going to become fans of HAA similar to Sajal. 😊

I was about to post this . Yes, have been watching this & story is also something I haven’t seen in a Pak show and this actor you mentioned Ahsan Khan....is he Momin’s Dada ??🤔 . HAA is fantastic in this. 👍👍. & love little Momin in those FBs ♥️.

No, Ahsan Khan is the actor portraying Momin's father in the flashbacks. The actor playing the role of Momin's dada also seems quite capable. I'm sure you remember Kubra Khan from Sang-e-Marmar. You're right, little Momin is adorable in the flashbacks! HAA is particularly selective in his work and as such his dramas are usually worth watching. I believe he's the next most popular actor in Pakistan after Fawad Khan. Speaking of whom, I wish Fawad would do more work! I really hope he'll make the decision to come back to television one day. It's not as if it's taboo to alternate between television and films on their side as it is in India.

Mish, have you heard? KSG quit KZK last week. 😆 I'm glad I chose to watch the show until KSG was a part of the cast. I don't know if I'll be as regular watching this show with KSG gone, but I will say that Parth has been fabulous in all of the episodes I've watched. Idol 11 is going to be as interesting to watch as Season 10 with the abundance of balance being shown on our screens. Despite all of the success that's come Salman Ali's way, I love how grounded he is as an entertainer and an artist. I just hope he's given more opportunities to display his talent. 🤞

Dazz, you said exactly what was on my mind about Fawad Khan. The other day just out of the blue, I realised I had not watched Humsafar & started watching. As I watch him I wonder why he’s done so few TV shows . Maybe his popularity paved the way to movies which is a step up for actors & after which, TV might not seem appealing anymore.......the work, pay (my thoughts). But like you said, I too wish he comes back to TV.

Oh yes Dazz, I heard about KSGs departure. Looks like it was too. Sudden, probably channels decision,....may be the falling TRPs. Anyway I had stopped watching the show a while back. Though Parth’s doing a good job, there’s only so much an actor can do. Theres no story, no creativity, nothing, And btw, are you still watching YRHPK ??
