I believe another show of Mikaal's is on Geo which recently started as well. I don't remember the name of the show, but it does seem like a mega project given the cast of the show. Mere Paas Tum Ho is an ongoing show on ARY.

Did you watch Boss on Alt ? I watched a few & episode 6 is all Mishal. Do watch & enjoy him in a different character, the bad boy😍. I have to catch up with the rest soon.

I was looking up his Insta....lately he seems to have become bit more generous in appreciating his fans 😊. And he mentions work, but we don’t get to see any 🙄....whatever happened to his Home production music video ? ? 🤔

I don't have the same faith in him anymore and I believe admiration shouldn't be blind. I think he's done so much to disappoint his fans over the years that now his attempts at some sort of redemption are futile. I don't know why he teases his fans with projects that have no outcome. 🤦‍♀️ I guess it's a desperate plea to remain relevant to his fans despite the empty promises. I wonder if, as fans, we've been deemed intellectually challenged to not catch on to this pattern of redundancy. Don't get me wrong, I still have admiration for his craft and will continue supporting him in his future endeavours. As for Boss, I was actually planning to watch for KSG but I'm glad MR has something substantial to offer as well in this web series. I was under the impression he had a thirty-second clip similar to the movie he did with Kay Kay Menon. 🙄

@Dazz @Ami . i am not keen to watch Sanjeevani 2 .I was such a fan of Dr.Rahul Dr. Juhi pairing in season1 that i was not excited when Rahul character was left out but still was thinking of giving it a try . But Now that i hear there is a romantic angle to Dr.Juhi and Dr.Shashank i dont know what to say!! Its really gross after being a fan of season 1 for me . Their relationship was almost like a Elder brother and sister types (apart from being a mentor mentee who respected each other the most ) in Season1 . And also Dr. Shashank already had 2 woman in his life in season 1. I dont know what to make of that character now !!! I hope i havent spoiled it for you though.

Will try to catch up with some of the series you guys are watching but not sure when i can. Anyway will try to visit this forum more often to catch up with you guys ❤️

So happy to see you on the forum, Avani! 🤗 I don't think you've been here since our discussion on the last episode of Inkaar. 😳 I can imagine feeling odd watching the second season of Sanjeevani being such an ardent fan of the first. They really seem to have dropped the ball this season! I only watched a few episodes of Sanjeevani in the early 00's, but I recall it being a blockbuster show at the time. The romantic track between Dr. Shashank and Dr. Juhi literally came out of nowhere. Seeing that Dr. Sid is going to be Dr. Shashank's illegitimate son, I didn't see the need for a romantic angle between the senior doctors anywhere on the show. I would've respected the writers even more if they had kept the purity of the relationship from season one intact this season. Mohnish's wife, Aarti Bahl, has been signed on to portray the character of Dr. Sid's mother. I'm sure Mohnish's chemistry with Aarti will be far more intense and interesting to watch onscreen anyway.

Oh that’s his real wife 😳. I don’t get it...why the need to bring in illegitimacy for such a reputed Doctor, 🙁. I wish there’s some other angle to that, pleaseee. And what’s with the elaborate marriage function in a hospital, like really🤔.

You are right Dazz, I see no chemistry between the actors , although I like Namit better than Surbhi...I feel that she overacts many a times . Namit’s lot more subtle & natural. Lately their LS is looking a bit silly which should not have been🙄

Now I am actually more curious for Dr.Anjali & Dr. Vardhan’s story. .....that would be more mature, I suppose.🤫.

Nice to see you here after so long. Europe was wonderful. There’s so much to see, but very little time. I would love to go back again, hopefully sometime in the future🙂

Guess It’s never easy to bring back the original essence of a show with a reboot / new season especially when the original did that welI during its time. I see that happening not with one but 2 shows on SP & happened with another one sometime back on the same channel.

Oh did you not watch Cheekh , rather finish it ? Watch it when you can, but don’t miss it for sure.

Yeah I remember watching the OST & the promos. Was not very appealing. But Ruswai is good so far. OST looked like quite intense. And love the chemistry between Mikaal & Sana ♥️.Had watched them & loved their pair in a different show earlier. So🤞for this one.

You know, I had just finished watching Yaariyan & neither the actor Ayeza Khan nor her character in it appealed to me. So I was skeptical to watch MPTH. But then I did. The initial episodes seemed slow & dull. But then as the story progressed, the characters grew onto me. I am a bit Confused with Danish....he loves his wife so dearly, yet so possessive & over protective. But still, his simplicity & honesty is most appealing 🙂. From what I’ve watched so far, the couple’s honest open communication is refreshing. This will change soon, I guess. Thanks once again Dazz for suggesting 🤗

The wedding at the hospital didn't bother me as much as Dr. Sid's mouth sucking on Dr. Juhi's pricked finger. I mean seriously, did the writers forget the theme of the show completely? I thought Sanjeevani 2 was doing alright in terms of the medical writing on the show until this latest TRP bid. What if Dr. Sid had an open sore inside his mouth? What if either had history of AIDS, STDs, TB, hepatitis, and the list could go on? Why the need for such cheesy scenes between two medical doctors inside a hospital where antiseptic is made available in every corner? 😱 I'm not sure either why the creatives of this show thought an illegitimacy track would work wonders, but for now it's on the cards. I too like Namit more than Surbhi, but I'm not wowed by either's performance on the show. All of the senior actors on the show are stealing the limelight in my opinion. Whether it's Mohnish Bahl, Gurdeep Kohli, Ronit Roy, or Sayantani Ghosh - they seem so much more relatable to me than the newbies on the show. I missed a few episodes from the week before which is why I'm baffled by the manner in which Vardhaan manhandled Anjali. I think Vardhan's lover boy image is nothing but a ploy. He has a motive behind his pursuit of Anjali that will come to light soon. 😧

I haven't watched Yaariyan, but I have watched Ayeza in a number of dramas and I've always found her to be competent in portraying all of her characters whether positive or negative. I think for a lot of people, Ayeza's charm has a lot to do with her looks. Seeing Adnan Siddiqui (Shahwar) in a negative character is unsettling because I'm so used to him being the good guy. I really liked the simplicity of MPTH after an intense show like Cheekh. 😳 I watched the OST of Ruzwai and it just seemed way too potent. I don't know how I feel about Mikaal being an abusive husband? Oh by the way Mish, have you watched Mikaal and Saba Qamar's show - Sangat? I watched the whole drama and wasn't a fan.

Omg Dazz, just caught up with all of MPTH. I am 😭 for Danish...he is such a pure soul , a gem really. Can someone be this good ? And oh my, just ewwww for Shahwar, he’s like this spider waiting for its (pretty) prey. I am dreading for what’s coming up next week, 😳.

No I haven’t watched Sangat. But thanks for mentioning 🤗. I will now, rather have to 😆
