I see you guys are continuing the momentum of 3-4 series . With my list growing starting with cheek there is still no progress but Dazz yesterday I watched first epi of Yeh Dil Mera and it's certainly interesting. The the mystery is intriguing .And is it only me or if you guys have noticed over the years . I don't get mystery horror genre connection with piano. I thought it's just Bollywood which had that obsession . Characters in these kind of movies keep playing piano 😃. As to Why I bought this you will get to know once you watch the epi 😃

Not sure Mish, I've yet to catch up on episodes 3 and 4. 😆 I'm actually out of the loop on all of the shows I've been watching recently. I stopped watching KZK after KSG's exit. I recently watched two of the recent episodes of Sanjivani 2. Since the TRP for this show has dropped below 1, I don't even know if I should even bother investing my time into this show. It's only a matter of time before they shut shop. Oh by the way, apparently the "truth" about Dr. Juhi's termination from Sanjivani wasn't about Dr. Shashank's love but something else. At this point, I don't even know if Dr. Shashank is pretending to be "in love" with her to save her from "the truth". I have a feeling "the truth" is somehow connected to Dr. Rahul and his antagonistic ways.

As for KSG, heard he wasn't happy with how his character wasn't shaping up on the show. I also read he was being paid an exorbitant amount to play Bajaj. Seeing that the TRPs have been dropping steadily despite his presence in the episodes, I'm sure his departure from the show was a mutual decision. If Aamna Sharieff is able to bring some magic to the show (which I doubt), we may get to see a new Rishabh Bajaj in the coming months.

I haven't watched or heard of any of Noman's recent shows, but I'm sure something will come up soon. Fawad has the extraordinary ability to personify characters such as Zaroon from ZGH and Asher from Humsafar to the bone being an extremely charismatic actor. He's carved a certain niche for himself that he surpasses in as an entertainer, and quite frankly his talent shouldn't go to waste. HAA may not be as magnificent as Fawad, but he's certainly more versatile. 😳

I have been in Humsafar mode for sometime now, Dazz. Just have couple more episodes to finish. I found a brilliant actress from this ...Mahira Khan. 👍👍....what a performance 👏👏👏 And her character Khirad is 👌.....IMO, she steals this show more than Fawad.

And omg., the dialogue writer is soooo good ,especially for Khirad. I ended up rewatching a few episodes just for some of her awesome dialogues. Mahira’s potrayal of Khirad is truly the highlight of this show for me. No wonder the show did so well when it was originally aired & continues to be .

Oh I read that Aamna is doing a good job & her character along with this current track..A’s memory loss & all had somewhat clicked well with the audience. But will it bring in TRPs .....time will tell, I guess.

Anyway , I am contented watching MPTH & Ruswai for now. Have you caught up with MPTH ? Ruswai is also getting interesting & intense now. I am not sure but have a feeling it’s from the same writer as AHT . I see similarities with some of the characters. Hoping for a good strong story as it progresses🤞

As for YDT, I will just wait. Maybe I’ll just follow while you all are discussing for now.

Me & horror don’t gel that well. 😆. Seriously Avani, I try & stay away from some fantasy & all horror....be it books, movies, shows.....but your observation about the piano part...... is this in all horror mystery movies or just the Indian ones ??

Avani, how is the show so far?? I never watched their previous one Aangan , either.....after all the the long wait, it did not turn out expected, quite disappointing. Did you watch it fully ??

Oh and where is Dazz ? She has been missing from the forum for sometime. Maybe she is very busy. And Ami too😊

Mish even i don't watch horror or intense mystery genre. Only know this from trailers etc. Both English and Hindi movies i have seen this .

The show is good so far. Characters and story both are very intriguing and nothing horror or disturbing in the show so i would say to give it a try 😊

Also Mish have did you listen to Humsafar Title track.?I think it's one of the best title tracks out there . I just love it and keep listening to it since ages i had watched the series !!

Sorry guys, I know this has been my longest absence from the forum. My days are so occupied that I just don’t have the energy to stay awake long enough to use my laptop. 😳 Happy to see Avani and Mish posting in my absence. 😃

Amani, I’ve watched all three episodes of YMD. There does seem to be a bizarre connection between suspense and the melody of the piano in both Bollywood and Hollywood. I guess we can now add Pakistani television to that list. There seems to be a lot of mystery in this drama. The connections between all of the characters seem to be the most intriguing to me. Why is Agha Jaan so possessive of his daughter? How does Armaan know so much about Sajal without having met her? So far so good. I hope the show holds up to its potential in the later episodes.

Mish, are you no longer following Alif? The show’s getting more intense with each passing episode. If you haven’t watched the recent episodes, then give them a try please. Where do I begin with MPTH? Gosh, I feel as if my hurt will burst if I continue with to watch this show? Could a woman like Mehvish exist in real life? One who is so superficial that she would sacrifice her bond with her son for materialistic pleasure? No amount of money can sastify the heart like pure selfless love. I shudder to think of the outcome of Mehvish’s character. 🤢 Mish, I hadn’t come across an onscreen performance that has wowed me since MR’s portrayal of Viplav on IKRS. Humayun Saeed has been outstanding in this drama! 👏 The empathy you feel for his character and the sacrifices he’s made all in the name love make you emotionally connected to not only the character, but also the story. I had tears falling from my eyes watching episodes 11 and 12. I don’t usually get that emotional watching television or movies, but this drama has proved the opposite.

Is anyone watching Idol 11? Favourites? Thoughts? 😀

Good to see discussions going on related to different shows. I didn't get chance to watch YMD, but planning to watch during long weekend. Like Mish, I am not much into mystery as for me i need to know the end rightaway for such shows...it is little scary for me.

Avani, good to learn that YMD is from the makers of YKS, I am sure it will be interesting and worth watching.

DAZZ, I am not able to watch the entire episode of Idol 11 only few clips. Liked the clips that I watched related to Pyarelal epsiode. Laxmi-Prayelal composed excellent songs along with Lyricist Anand Bakshi. I will have to watch more before having any favourites. Did you get chance to watch?

Also, read your comments about Azmat, not sure what happened to him in the past. Somehow i am not able to connect to his singing, may be I am missing something, need to hear him more and then decide...

Good to hear YDM has an interesting story. I hope to watch it later, since I am quite busy now with work & travel. Until then, I guess I will follow the discussions here Avani 😛.

Oh so glad you mentioned. I absolutely love Humsafar Title track. I did not miss listening to it before every episode on YT. Usually I FF the tracks when watching online shows but not this one & I also find myself humming the song often 😊.

Did you get a chance to watch Cheekh ?? If & when you do, I am curious to know your thoughts about the show & Shayan’s character specifically 🤫

Avani, have you been able to watch the more recent episodes of YDM? The videos are coming up as blocked for me and I’m not sure why. 🤔 I was able to catch a bit of the last episode that aired on Hum TV and was surprised to see Agha Jaan’s wife. I wonder why he’s kept his spouse hidden away from his precious Noor-e-Jaan. Have they disclosed anything about Armaan’s mother yet? I still don’t get the connection between Armaan and Noor-ul-Ain. I’m assuming it has something to do with Agha Jaan and Armaan’s mother.

Mish, did you watch MPTH last week? Oh wow, so happy to see Danish finally standing up to Shahwar! Although I’m not sure if a physical altercation was needed, but I’m glad Danish is fighting for his son’s rights. I agree with Romi’s teacher that he shouldn’t be forced into having a relationship with his mother, especially when she chose to abandon him to be with her lover for materialistic gain. I can’t fathom a woman to be that repulsive in real life. 🤢

Yes Dazz i could watch latest episode of YDM. Nothing much disclosed yet . Glimpses shown of Amaans mother playing Pianno and Amaan once losing sense visiting that memory but nothing much. Yes seems like Agha Jaan did something to Amaans family. Last episode they showed how Agha Jaan handles his enemies/competitors ruthlessly ! And how Amaan is trying to get close to Aina! Aina is all gaga about Amaan .she is also slowly trying to accept that she has some real issues to confront !

Amaan and Agha Jaan angles seems to be of revenge but i am curious about Ainas dreams and nightmares. How does she and probably her mother (who died long back )fit in this angle !!!
