Avani, this is exactly how IKRS should've panned out. Your plot is brilliant! 👏 My heart broke for Viplav Baba in this chapter. 💔 From becoming homeless to making his resolve to stay put in Benares for his new family, you've highlighted his plight wonderfully. It only made sense for him to leave his house and start his life afresh after coming to terms with his grandfather's true identity. I could also relate to Dhani's guilt and grief on all that was happening to her Vakil Babu because of her and what could potentially happen to her own family. It'll also be interesting to see Viplav leading a modest life independent of his grandfather's fortune. Sadly the prince of Benares is no longer the prince, but in due time he shall make his own identity. I can't wait for the next chapter. 😃 You're doing a wonderful job as the author of this story, Avani! 🤗

And that part that you wrote that mishal felt at home when he entered the ashram ... The way mishal portrayed viplav it actually gave us a sense he felt at home and found peace at the ashram. And that habit of viplav to sleep in dhani's lap . Always loved it. In fact I sense a connection here ,if I remember right he slept in his dad's lap too . So this was his way of finding solace which he got from ones who were closest to his heart.A boy grows into a man but the basic traits remain same. Only the recipient changes...

Yes Ashram scenes (most of them) was so real and natural. He felt homely there always!!! And yes Dadi and Dhani both are similar in so many ways and he always recognised and valued them !!

Ishq - Ek Pratha Chapter 10

Viplav was on his way to Ashram on his bike. It was actually not his but his friend Pankaj's which he had borrowed temporarily .

He could not wait to see his Dhani. It was full two days since he had last seen her!! He did not know what to say to her.It was crazy last two days for him.

He had finally moved in to a house of his own two days back .

In fact he wanted to take Dhani with him when he was moving . He wanted her to be the first one to set foot in his house, in their house to be exact.

But the state of house was so bad and he was sure she would do all the work by herself and not let anyone to set it right and he didn't want that. She already had loads to do in Ashram.

And moreover his Dadi and sister had told him they will get some servants to set it right . This would be the best way to talk to Dadi too. He had not got time to talk to his Dadi at all after he had found about Tripurari. After all she was the one going through the pain all these years.

So he had decided that's the best course for now. It had taken the whole day in cleaning up the house by three of them and couple of servants.Even his Father had come for sometime and he could see pride in his father's eyes for him!! And in the evening Dadi and he had talked in length about all the things that happens and has been happening in his so called home . Dadi now had a person in fact both of her grand children to who she could share all she had gone through . Viplavs blood boiled listening to the time when she had come to know about Dashrath Tripathi's infidelity.

So after spending a day with the members of his family next day Viplav could hardly breathe.

After coming from Delhi and taking up Ashram case which had led him to love of his life he had taken up some more cases but most of them were to help people in distress . Varanasi aka Benaras was one of the centre of UP and there were no dearth of cases .

And that day people had approached him with one such high profile case and it was very crucial that he take up this when he was in dire need of money. So he had got to his work immediately.

And in these two days he could hardly talk to Dhani. He had briefly talked to her only twice in phone . He could sense she was upset but couldn't help .

Now he will have to set it alright .

Dhani was in her room in the evening working on an embroidery . She was not able to progress much on it being upset and angry. She had expected her Vakil Babu would take her to his new house first thing in the morning the other day but instead he had not even called her . When she had called him instead he had casually said everything is taken care by Dadi.

Hearing that Dadi was there she had felt happy as she knew how much Dadi meant to her Vakil babu. But when he had not reached out to her even in the evening she was really upset . But she consoled herself thinking he will be busy . But even the next day he had called just to say that he got important work and will be busy all day . It was as if he was avoiding her .Her eyes became tearful thinking about it .

'Wait let him come he will not hear a single word from me' she fumed.

A minute later she heard a bike stopping nearby and she knew it was him .Viplav ran inside Ashram where ladies were preparing for night dinner. Dulari enquired about his houseand offered him tea.He declined and asked urgently "Dhani?"

"She is upstairs . But Beware Vakil saab whether is very hot " Rajlaxmi chuckled indicating Dhanis mood.

Viplav winked at Rajlaxmi and ran upstairs.

He saw her sitting in front of a sari doing embroidery and a big and content smile came on his face ."Hello my lady" he said moving towards her closing the door of the room

Seeing him her face became red with anger and hurt but she didn't respond as if she hadn't heard anything and continued her work.

Viplav came towards her and held her hand keeping aside the stuffs she was working on. He held his ears and said " I am sorry "

She moved her face away and got up to go out of the room when she heard him "Hey shout at me all you want but don't go away from me like this "

She couldn't control it anymore when she burst out " Oh really i am the one going away? You seem to be the one moving away. How come you remembered me today. Last two days you seem to don't remember that i exist." She was going on and on about him not even responding to her on phone while cleaning up the stuffs lying on the floor when he grabbed her waist and took her in his arms.

"Leave me what are you doing? she tried to come out of his grip.

"Now that you have started to rattle like a typical wife i think i should start acting like a typical husband " he laughed

When she still tried to loosen his grip he brought her more close and said

"Listen i am sorry. I know i should have taken you first to our new house. After all it's our house. In fact i wanted you to enter the house even before i did .But i couldn't help when Dadi said she will come. And you have no idea how much i missed you .Spendihg full day without seeing you makes me crazy. And i promise that this will never happen again. "

Smile slowly crept on her face still consious about his hand on her waist. He realising that laughed and hugged her tightly. saying "Now get ready fast madam. Don't you want to see your home ?"

She nodded "I am ready"

"Oh no not like this. I have got you a gift he went out of the room and returned with a plastic cover.

She was surprised finding a beautiful suit in it. Seeing her all hestitant he said "Oh Come on Dhani. Don't care about what people say. Anyway you are to be my wife now "

"But what was the neccesity to spend money on this ?" she complained

"Gosh Dhani don't be such a spoilsport . I got you such a good gift and all you can do is complain uff shikayati pudia" he grabbed the suit from her angrily.

"Ok ok i will wear it " she took the dress from him to get ready . Ladies in Ashram were all happy to see Dhani in that dress. Later they left the Ashram on bike to his new house.

He held her hand and opened the gate of the house full of excitement. Even she was all smiles to see their home. But after a few steps he stopped all of a sudden. He could not believe what he was seeing .State of his house was not at all how it was when he had left that morning.

Window panes were broken. Doors damaged . He ran inside closely followed by Dhani only to see his things all scattered here and there .

He slowly realised what could have happened . He looked at Dhani who was all in tears seeing the state of the house .He went to her and held her shoulder as if trying to get hold of the situation .

Here they were together against the society which was trying hard to shatter their dreams at every step.

Poor Viplav Baba! Just when he had found respite and a tiny bit of happiness, DT spoiled all of his happiness at the end of the chapter. 😭 My heart aches for Viplav and Dhani and their struggle to be one. DT and Kanak won't let them be in peace without a treacherous battle. 🥺 Excellent as always, Avani! 👏 I hope Viplav Baba is up for the challenge that awaits him in the next chapter. 😉
