Ishq- Ek Pratha : Chapter 3
Viplav was staring at the horizon waiting for Dhani. He turned right sensing someone approaching him. And here she was dressed in pure white !!
He smiled at her when she reached him and held out his hand .She looked around once gave her hand shyly and Viplav made her sit next to him .
He did not know how to start the conversation . This was the first time he was speechless in front of her. He had always talked each and everything that came to his mind with her.
May be he knew this would hurt her . It would be nothing less than an accusation on her although he not even for a second accused her or her status.
He looked at her and observed that her eyes were red. Was she crying??She was looking at the river avoiding his prying eyes .
"Did you inform Kaki? What was her reaction? " She nodded and said "she is happy" feebly.
Viplav sensed that she knew what was going on .
"Dhani i love you more than anyone in this world!!" Dhani looked at him in surprise .
She had not expected this out of him. Not now.After all this.
"All i need is you to be with me .No matter what the situation is.No matter what people say . No matter what we face .Will you promise me that ?It's going to be hard for us and for our family but i am confident we can solve all hurdles together and it's important that you will not blame yourself even for a second for this"!!
Dhani was staring at him with fear written all over her face .She mumbled trying to say something but words refused to come out .
He held her hand and took her to a corner of the Ghat with no people around .He hugged her tightly with a heavy heart.There was love but there was fear too of the future they would share.
Dhani her head on his shoulder just closed her eyes and she could feel herself , her mind and her heart much more lighter now.
Viplav released her and they sat in a nearby corner stone. Viplav held both her hands and said "Now tell me.
Dhani looked at him . Could she disclose to Vakil babu about the MahaPandit jis request ?
"Maha Pandit ji had called and and " she stuttered
Viplav stressed "and??
"He is scared " Only these words came out of her. He had not expected this from his grandfather. It was absolutely not necessary to talk to Dhani behind his back !!
He held her hand more tightly and said "All will be fine. Nothing to worry at all. As i told you earlier we can handle this. I will talk to Grandfather. and cupped her face and stressed "everything will be fine
She nodded half convinced half fearful. There were lot of things for them to discuss, talk and share but later. He sighed once .
And with a big smile asked her would she like to have an ice cream !!"Shall we ? Shall we?" he persuaded her.
Dhani took sometime to come out of the gloom and smile crept on her face slowly while she nodded affirmatively. He always had a way to make her smile.
Ah that smile of hers always made him leap with joy . To be hell with what comes next . They were together now and had to celebrate it.
They went to a nearby roadside ice cream stall .Viplav knowing her favourite ice cream ordered for one. This was not new to them . While he stayed in Ashram he had managed to sneak her out couple of times to have Ice cream with RajLaxmi, Suwarna and Rachna without elder ladies knowing about it.
Dhani seeing only one Ice cream cone in his hand questioned "what about you?"
He laughed heartily and said "this is for me !! . Seeing her confused look said "And you too
And asked her to take a bite while holding ice cream near her lips. She laughed and took a bite followed by him.
So here they were together sharing an ice cream
