The episode begins with adjustments made in life. Since Dhani will not going to Bhaskar night school due to familial misgivings. Her very own school complete with fundamental support in learning to her specific needs , is set up at home in the privacy of her room.. Viplav yet again proves to be a sensitive husband , if Dhani has been barred from attending night school , then he would compensate with a learning environment at home for her, complete with learning tools needed for her elementary education stage. Dhani, though will miss out the classroom scenario where pupils learn and interact with their peers. In this home learning situation, Viplav is seen to take over as her mentor rather than Kamini. Through Viplav s support she will learn to consolidate the attitude that obstacles that prevent her from acquiring educational essentials , can be fought with sheer determination and a strong will to learn. Like a good teacher he banks on finding out what the pupil already knows and then build upon existing knowledge . Viplav thus challenges the stereotypical attitude that pupils are empty vessels and teachers are in the business of pouring in knowledge into hollow vessels. The modern teaching learning theory is based upon the premise, start the process of education from what the pupil already knows. The scene is a strong message not only in terms of educating the girl child but also celebrates the concept of adult literacy. Viplav sums up in two words, that which he scribes on the black board .Dhani, synonymous with the word strength. The use of the elementary learning tools of the blackboard and chalk are contrasting colours. Writing stands out visibly. The black background of the black board can be understood to be ignorance that keeps us in the dark. Whilst the white chalk can represent the enlightenment of learning. Viplav is aware that Dhani may well be dispirited by some of his family members negative attitude towards her learning. He empowers her, if she puts in the effort,then all her aspirations will come true one day. As education does empower one ,especially Dhani who believes that learning will give her a more meaningful identity where she can support her family more.
Where as Viplav builds Dhani's strength in the wake of recent events. Dashrant , is preoccupied with two bags full of gold necklaces gone astray. It's the one thing he is forced to keep within himself. However he gives vent to his stress by sounding cranky and enraged. Dhani finds him in fury , he pressurises her too, by saying yesterday's events have had a toll on him. Dhani in default, seemingly makes a misjudgement .Dadaji may be miffed because she hadn't reported Asthana's incident with her to the police.The truth of course is that Dashrant wanted a lid put on it rather than be reported to the police! So by default Dhani actually does the right thing by getting the crime logged in at the police station.
Dashrant cracks up under the loss of his booty . He suspects one in particular , member of his own family of the theft. Kanak comes under his cracking whip of suspicion , as he is aware of her greed mentality. She is blank about the theft. Since she has been his partner in dirty deeds he confides in her what's gone missing ,as he believes, apart from her no one else knew . Bua walks in but Dashrant was not to share his anxiety with her.. she would have his guts for garters!
Dhani reports the incident and explains due to family name being tarnished she hesitated before in reporting the matter, but she feels that people like Asthana who misuse power need to brought to task as he has not only caused her stress but all her family too. Dhani believes she did the right thing.
At AN, Phool Chand with great authority , announces that the tola daan collected for the building works of Sita mandir will not be overseen by Dashrant Tirpathi. The collection therefore needed to be handed over to him. Dashrant's dark deeds of the missing bags of collections now land him in dire straits as unaware he is framed by Asthana by Phool Chand's collusion. Viplav turns up and argues with Phool Chand that after his dadaji had done all the ground work in canvassing people to contribute he turns up in favour of widow empowerement.all to control the gold. phool chand reads out the inventory list and when lo and behold the two bags of necklaces are found missing, Dashrant's integrity is ripped to pieces. Viplav argues and tells his dadaji, there's nothing to hide , Phool Chand is greedy for gold let him have it! all the more so, because he doubts his family's integrity. Before Phool Chand leaves , yet again he cusses Dhani the ex widow! but this time again Viplav threatens to beat the pulp out of him! if he utters another word against his wife Dhani!So Dashrant much against his will has to handover the gold. But not all is there! Ashtana is over the moon when he founds out Dashrant has been arrested! It's pay back time. Kamini visits him and he thanks her for her devious conspiracies that she has weaved around the Tirpathi's.Ashtana regrets he should have fallen for her instead of Dhani! but she spurns his filthy touch! and tells him his goal should be to continue to pursue Dhani. He confirms he will repay Viplav back for every blow that he took at him! Bad news for Asthana too , as the police comes to arrest him for molestation. Charges pressed by Dhani! Kamini , reckons Dhani shouldn't have done this!
More disaster as Dhani comes in well pleased with herself that she has slapped a charge against Asthana.. as providence would have both men judge and priest are arrested! The tola dan is counted in police presence. When the two bags are found short, the police arrests Dashrant, right before his distraught family that goes in denial of the misdeed which Dashrant committed! but then his pilfering too was stolen by someone?? Viplav consoles his distraught dadi tells her he'll bring him back.. then goes to the police station on a bike. Kamini turns up and insists as she is a lawyer he might need her assistance at the station. Kamini hitches a ride on his bike! or rather forces herself upon Viplav.
When Viplav is away the two anti Dhani witches are on Dhani's case! as she tends to a swooning dadi. Kanak badmouths her as a trouble shooter! and soon enough joins in Bua and degrades Dhani that she herself allured Asthana to make a pass at her by the s**ttish way that she was dressed drawing attention to herself! worked Viplav up to bash Asthana ! Bua again ,like before blames Dhani for all the troubles of this household! Kanak too adds in Asthana will surely not spare them now that this girl has slapped a charge on him. Kanak says why did she escalate the matter further more! Dhani was brave to retort because what Asthana tried to do with her, if he is not punished he will continue to do with another girl! When Kanak has no answer, she begins to attack the paathshala and the ideals and mannerisms Dhani is being taught there , wearing revealing clothes! exhibitionism! Kanak slaps Dhani on the shoulder, is she learning to become like ones of those dancers she meets at the night school?..dadi has a coughing fit! both witches really are responsible for bringing it on. Dhani is ordered to get the medicine ,and ring the doctors... Dhani stumbles across the frustration of coming to terms with the setback of lack of knowledge in the face of emergency!
The episode is about monsters raising their ugly heads! all due to Dhani being educated .. hamlet53 17.5.16
