so after viplav, m expressing my analysis of rajyalakshmi...will it should have been dhani, but rajyalakshmi excites me more...

well maybe my title will look objectionable to many...but i can't find any more suitable tag for rajyalakshmi...this is a character which shows various shades every now and then...when u start believing in something about her, she bounce back proving u wrong...at the very outset, she is a girl who is truly against all the ill rituals imposed on them by the society...and her views on these are very impressive...she understands that they are being punished for no fault of theirs...she came as a fresh air for us...but then we all in spite of her views, she had to keep up with the rituals...and how inhuman it is, is nothing new now...on the point of time when she needed her family, she was thrown into this ashram...and in her stay, she have actually suffered a lot...this had made her a revolting mind...and this only gave her the realistic touch...in the first episode, she express her disappointment on the food, the culture and she was objected by all...in a way her desire to set free was pushed down..and this would have been done many a times..so its natural she is not connected much to her fellow companions emotionally as in the ideal women of the ashram, she stands out for her non ideal views...she is somewhere being pushed by them to follow these traditions which are ill for her...and we have also seen her enjoying all the rona-dhona and drama in the ashram...for her it brings the missing spice, entertainment in her life..and yes she sometimes do those crazy acts...selling the watch etc etc...but then too i don't hate her for all that either...she was just trying to fulfill her desires..of having good accessories, food most importantly...and then we are seeing her not ready to co-operate in saving the ashram...its seriously irking but initially when she got to know of the notice, her anger on lala was very genuine..and she is ready to help in saving the ashram but not ready to sacrifice her belongings for it...coz she sees them as an investment to secure her future when she gets a chance to fulfill her wishes...and i find it much realistic...when the ashram or ladies needs her physcially, she is there...like when she genuinely stood with others in fighting with the crowd set to hit dhani...but if she is to kill her desires then she will not...she have no hatred for anyone from heart, but just irritation...all this coming out as a result of the sufferings...its much real to think of personal happiness first specially when the happiness accompanies getting freed from a state of torture...its so human..

P.S. M not a rajyalakshmi supporter...its just what i felt of her..strictly my POV...

Wonderful analysis Roopal. The character of rajlakshmi is easily relate able and realistic. Its human nature to want something that one doesnt have, its not wrong. She expresses her wishes, her frustrations and she believes that she isnt wrong in demanding them, as her current condition is not because of her own fault. While I like her character but at the same time i believe that her self centered nature might cause problems for the rest of the widows in the future especially Dhani.
She seems like a person who is willing to give up the ashram ( that gave her shelter and food for years on im assuming) and run away leaving the others to suffer. In future people like dashrat could use her greed and neediness to get to dhani.

Nice post Roopal.
It is gr8 to read about each effective character in IKRS. It helps in understanding them more, their backgrounds, motives, desires, weak , power and many more. I hope to read more of your analysis about other characters too Roopal.

I too don't hate Rajlaksmi. She is a human being..most ppl think of their selves first. It is natural. Sometimes she crosses the lines..like stealing that watch and selling it. Or saying mean things about Dhani. But it is coming from her suffer..she wants a bright future, which she knows is far away from her reach.

I absolutely loved Rajlakshmi in the first episode. She had amazing views which she didn't shy in expressing. Dhani's attitude was irritating when RajL came in like a breath of fresh air.
And then, like I had predicted, Raj comes across as the negative girl who has rebelious ideas, is against the heroine and so the vamp. The 'sanskari' girl is the heroine, anyone who thinks different is not an angel.

Nice post Roops 😉 Rajlakshmi wants to be independent & also wantes to treated as any other in the society 😳 She's just like a revolution er , She just don't want herself be punished for the things which wasn't responsible & whenever she makes mistake she says sorry, unless if she had made the mistake for her own desire for money 😳 She's really brave but the selfishness in her makes her fool sometimes 😳 Superb character sketch 👏

nicely said...
me too like but her i agree with u...i also see her as a potential threat to dhani in future...owing to self-righteousness and her wish to fulfill her desires...i am sure in such chaos she may unwillingly or willingly ignore the impact on others...and dashrath using her...sigh...it will be double threat for dhani...coz swarna too is in tripurari's hands...

btw i just love ur icon and siggy so much ☺️..the best creation i have ever seen😳
