Oh man! Dhani's mom was just too much. TBH I am actually intrigued by the creepy Dadaji. But Dhani and her mom...really wish they had some sort of backstory. Such things are not such a big deal in today's time. Its a strain to watch this show...

Great Post. Agreed with most of it.

So far, not very impressed with it. The makers are not doing a great job. Only because this show has reunited most of the LTL members, i feel sort of obliged to watch it. Otherwise, not a chance. Sequences of Viplav and Dhani are good but i can't take the drama at the Ashram. Also, dadaji pisses me off big time. 😡

I still hope there are interesting and of course, realistic things are waiting for us.

Fingers Crossed.

Red ... Bingo that's why I am here ...
Viper is very irratating ...nd Dhaanni is from the 18 century

Dadaji is rude , manipulative ...sick man

Frankly even the friends put me off ... I want Baji ... even Suds was cute as in funnily cute ...

I honestly cannot decide what she was angry at. It could be the situation OR the fact that Dhani was not a "good vidwa" and got color dumped on her.

But either way It was just TOO much. Too much hitting and screaming and crying and emotional blackmailing. All for something so inconsequential in the long run. I am not trying to down play the gravity of this situation as it seems to her, but even if this was equivalent to Dhani rotting in hell for the rest of her life.. Even then, it was just too much. Lol.. 2 minutes into it and I couldn't take anything she said seriously or sympathize with it.

P.S. Lol, I'm glad that I'm able to rant and vent here too.. So it is I who should be grateful for you guys entertaining my posts to begin with.. 😆

Fivr another reason for me to be happy is we have a angel faced prank girl ...if u remember the April fool prank

a detailed analysis of the episode! great post 😊 i have actually started to look forward to ur posts regularly and make it a point to not miss it as i watch the epi in the repeat slot 😃😃
first of all, i couldnt just understand dhani's mom total anger on her kid!! i mean if she had got colour on her sari by mistake what's her fault in that! and this is the first time i am coming across these kind of things in the serial! i have never seen these kind of things in my real life, i too know that widow's are treated badly, but never knew that this badly 😔 is this same way it is in the society too??
and next this dadaji is total pervert! man in the name of god man what the hell is he doing?? wish they dont show anymore of his dirty activities!! 😡

i actually kind of loved the scene in the dinner table where viplav's dad and his sis had a little convo and loved the way they went gaga over food! being a foodie myself i loved their expressions! such a cutie pies!

coming to viplav!! most of the parents make the biggest mistake of never saying NO to their kid in any situation! this guy is a perfect example of that! getting pampered all times makes him think he is the ultimate king wherever he goes! i know that they will defintiely show growth in his character moving forward, looking forward for it!! 😃😃

THIS. I get that being a widow has been a big deal throughout history but surely it cannot still be THIS DRAMATIC in today's day and age. I would get if the widows were just expected to be a little reserved or not remarry or something - if they were just expected to not be nonchalant with parties or with working or remarrying. But not wear color, not eat spices, not speak? That's a bit too much.. Too much!

More than that...how is someone to be blamed if someone ELSE throws color on them? Its not as if she wore colored clothes herself. Perhaps if they had some back story for Dhani's mom's or even Dhani's extreme behavior then it would make sense. Like some pan wala passed comments on Dhani on her comments. Perhaps they could show something like that?

I highly doubt things are as severe as they are being shown in this show.. I think that's what hurting this show - the fact that it is just so unrealistically dramatic! If they could just tone it down a little bit!

Haina!! That was jus a sweet interaction! They reminded me of my dad and my sister, totally normal and relatable.. Which is honestly a breath of fresh air compared to the nonsense of the rest of the family.. 😆

If they would have just given a decent backstory for Viplav's behavior or for Dhani and her mom's extreme reactions, I maybe could UNDERSTAND them better even if I do not relate to them. It's just bad planning on the CV's part. They are doing a decent job establishing the creepy, disgusting and reprehensible behavior of the Tripathi family but then they go ahead ignore Dhani and her mom's back story (how and why did she become a widow, where are her inlaws, who was her husband, why and when did she marry him!) and ignore Viplav's backstory for why he thinks he is as big a hotshot in real life as he is in his head (leaving us to speculate on WHY he is the way he is..).

And I honestly was thinking the same thing. How does Dhani deserve to die in her mother's womb simply because some random guy threw color on her? Like how is she supposed to "sambhal" herself if some guy brings a tray of color and dumps it on her.. How is that her fault! I feel this is a culture of "widows are always guilty until proven innocent"..
