It was never established why cant he take no for an answer. He just keeps harping on it. Overall I liked episode one better than the second one which was too predictable. But I think this show isnt really designed for people like us who liked shows like Laagi Tujhse Lagan. The target audience is difference so we shouldnt expect another LTL.

I think he just won't take no for an answer because everyone in his life keeps telling him he doesn't HAVE to. His friends keep treating him like he's some Maharaja. His family treats him like he's the best thing to walk this Earth in recent times. He himself says that no one in Banaras has said no to him ever.. Lol, pehli dafa "no" sunney mein takleef ho rahi hai beecharey ko.. 😆

Now if they had established the bold bit it would have been fine. The problem was they were in a hurry to start off with the hate story from Day 1 itself.

The discrimination against widows also needed to be properly established to make it relatable.

Say what I will about Dhani, I know why she is doing what she's doing - because of her basic inherent believe that this is ALL SHE CAN DO. But what is Viplav's thinking.. I can't figure him out just yet. I think that's causing me a lot of angst.. And causing me to face palm every so often. We get that he is supposed to be a spoilt brat.. But it would have been nice if they had just spend ONE episode showing WHY..
