Where is all her self respect ? Why does she keep falling on everyone's feet!

Agree!! I hate it when she falls at people's feet like that and folds her hands and all. Its humiliating. And painful to watch. She is being shown as a modern girl with progressive outlook so it doesn't look good that she begs people at the drop of the hat.
