All I want his Ahaan's breakdown😳 His frustration or his anger on his feelings, or maybe emotions falling out of his eyes😭 I really want him to realise his feelings and then IDC what he does as he is a third person and also can't betray Rhea. But I really hope he confronts himself about how he feels and how helpless he is😭

Yep, and in the next phase of his life he has to struggle through those notions and learn to listen to his heart, because we've seen him feel restless when these social conditions go against his common sense and instincts but he still puts up with them because of 'sanskaar'. A great example was when Sonu's hand was burned and she still had to carry the tray because of Raj's mother's taunts. Ahaan had a full-on head vs. heart battle but decided not to defend his sister. It must suck to be Sonu and feel the burden of everyone's sanskaari expectations.

I personally feel he is being a man. I mean, if I look from his perspective - I don't find him wrong. I can't. She is his best friend's fiance. That makes her off-limits. And he himself is in a two-year-old relationship.

His mother's doings and the insult and shame it brought to his family ( we know it didn't happen but at least that's what he believes). The deep rooted hatred that he has for his mother has the foundation of adultery. He would never do it to someone what has destroyed his own life.

Now unless Mayank's truth comes out or Ishqi, in her consciousness, wants to be with him- him taking any step is going to seem 🤓

I agree with you. We know what Mayank is like but he doesn't and neither does Ishqi. She's going to get married soon, why would he act on his feelings if she herself is still going ahead with the marriage?

Gul is missing here character building of Ahaan .

His soft side is shown and I love it.

But his hard side is not shown , I mean as a man of the house ( the way ASR was portrayed in IPK) .

His bitterness is all about sanskari bahu and abala nari - purely in women's zone .

How can a modern man only want her sister to be married and nothing else!

No wonder he is called 1921 soch wali

No wonder Sonu is such a scared soul .

It's because his grandmother raised him that way.

I agree with each and every point raised by you in regard with Ahaan's character. But my only point is the dilemma that he is facing with himself, atleast he needs to confront himself what he feels, it's his right. The way he is always looking out for Ishki and then lying to himself that he hates her and doesn't feel anything about her is my point.

When Ishki said in the room 'Ruk jaiye na' .. honestly I saw disappointment on his face that he can't stay and Mayank is staying at his place.

That's my whole point. His character is raw from outside but we have seen him doing everything he can for Ishki and that's how Kartik and Ishki are able to see, he just needs to accept.

Thank you. Nah, I don't think he has said that he hates her ever since he grew to care about her.

And for the rest - in Ahaan's words - feelings complicated hi hoti hai. 😆

I find it incredibly realistic for a lot of people struggle with the acceptance of their emotions and desires. A lot of people spend a long while in denial due to different reasons. In his case, it's his upbringing buf more than that, the situation. It must feel so awful to realize that he has feelings for his best friend's fiance. The road to acceptance has never been easy and for him, it's going to be tough af.

True, it does take a lot of courage to accept. He might be guilty conscious to accept it. But the fact that he can confess to himself something like.. "Why do I have feelings for Ishki..why do I feel for her the way I should not...this is wrong..I should not ditch Rhea etc etc etc" If only he accepts to himself and then be guilty about it... because self acceptance is the key..one should not lie to himself in any which way and then it's upto him and the situations what can be done or what can not be done. The way we have seen Ishki talking to herself about Ahaan many a times knowing he should feel this way about Mayank not Ahaan, the same if happened with Ahaan would be treat to watch and I'm hoping this might happen really soon.

Spot on post he is not being coward but rather a mature individual who doesn’t want to destroy someone’s engagement regardless of the situation.

But he is certainly hoping for it now🤣 The way he keep on asking Ishki if she do remember anything about last night, in precap he asked her if she's happy with the wedding🤣

If Ishki breaks the wedding now I guess Ahaan will be happy inside😆also for another do teen episode agar Ishki ne bhaw na dia to he might go bhaukhlaya hua😆
