AMAZING BEAUTIFUL FABULOUS STUPENDOUS creations! Unfortunately, the like button is not working for anyone, or else I'd have pressed it 1,000,000 times for you guys.😛 Seriously, I loved seeing each and every one of your beautiful work, they so much beauty to this thread.

I can never describe my love and respect for Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. It introduced me to Ravindra Jain, who quickly became one of my favorite music directors and made me feel super duper happy to learn that he was also music director for Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna and later on, Anand Sagar's Ramayan. I think one of the major reasons I love these shows is because of his music, they add such a beautiful and divine touch to the scenes that really affects us greatly.

My favorite song in Ramayan has always been Hum Katha Sunaate by Luv Kush in Shri Ram's darbaar. It summarizes the entire story of Ramayan with such beautiful, heart-wrenching words and really makes us cry during the sad ones and smile during the happy ones. I can never tire of listening to this song.😍

I was very young at the time ramayana was being telecast..so hv very faded memories of that time...

bt it was osm time...n coz of a loadz of reasons...Ramayana is very close to m heart...n im higjly inspired of this...

this ramayana has real beauty...beauty in characters...everything looks perfect in itself...n Jain sir made it something like beyond this world...

Laxmana, and Indrajeet are my fvt characters from RSR...both in terms of actors n characters..n even i donno hw many times i watched their war scenes...Sunil sir lived in Laxmanaz' role...n this is like a hamesha n forever fvt character for me...

Indrajeet was osm..n i think they both were best in whole sequence...

apart frm this..luv-kusha r my fvt...these kids played these roles so perfectly..specially luv...e was very cute in whole sequence...n swapnil was very cute as kusha...

would luv to watch this ramayana again n again...bestest show till nw in india...

no one can explain the beauty of this show...

n im rly happy to hv u guys who r a big fan of this show...coz everybody i met in my life doesn't even believe in these stuffs...

Janu I love that song too very much, but the reason why I have not included in the list of my favourites is that it is very imbalanced and hence disappointing. It just emphasizes on Balkand, Ayodhyakand and Uttarkand (Just 3 out of 7) and it covers 4 middle kands in just 4 phrases 😲 😔 😭. Sita haran, Lanka dahan, Ravan maran, Ram Ayodhya punaraagaman. Very very disappointing. Building up high hopes for listening to entire Ramayan summary and then breaking the heart very badly just in 5 seconds of singing of 4 lines💔. Very much like BRC MB Geeta and RS SK Geeta which don't cover my most favourite Adhyay 14th and 18th of Satva-Rajas-Tamas concepts and they are very much overbalanced in favour of Adhyay 2 and Adhyay 3. Too much.

Otherwise, that's the classic song. This is actually not the criticism of the song but the appreciation how high expectations of perfection this creation (Serial) could build and the song was too good to be so short. Yes yes. It is 14 minutes long song and I still call it SO SHORT. No mistake of readers. I wanted it much much longer than even this one. I wish there could be some magical surprise we might get that the song actually composed and shot was very long and well balanced for all kands but editors edited that and made it short with those 4 phrases later on added. How great that imagination is if it actually turns out to be true and Sagars release the full version possible of that song giving a giant pleasant surprise.😍 Then definitely that song would become the best in the entire collection without doubt.❤️

i luved all the war songs best, especially the ones that had my lakhan ji in them !!😳😳 the lakhan, indrajit songs were so lively, and i also luved the song when hanuman ji is coming back with sanjivani, really beautiful lines in the song !!👏

Given the content of this thread, I was bound to love it anyway, but the way it's brought so many of us together in appreciation of one masterpiece makes it even more special... so glad to see old friends like Swati and Nishi make an exception from their well-intentioned inactivity to share in the joy here, my new buds (Khushi!!! dude request wala PM you sent me, aur faida hua mera in the form of a new mytho buddy! LOVED your post!), and even my other forum friends like Miriam who in spite of not having seen the show, have come to honor it on this milestone... every single post in this thread thus far has been a real treat, thank you all so much and can't wait for more!

Speaking of treats, huge thanks to Aishu, Gunu and Deeps for posting such beautiful creations!!! Added them all to the first page 😃 And Deeps, using your devotion one!

@ Vis - obviously I thoroughly enjoyed your whole posts, par ek jagah par you got me especially intrigued because of the unique thinking you showed... I had always noticed the crispness and humility of Hanumanji's statement of purpose to the sanjeevani bootis, but never ever thought of it as a lesson for us in job interviews 😆 Now thanks to you I have a brand new real life application of a teaching from Ramayan to add to all the others!

Will get some work done and come back to chime in on the favorite songs discussion and add more excerpts from your posts to the first page... tab tak lage raho, I can't wait to read what else y'all have to say!

Though I didn't watch Sagar's original Ramayan, I'm devotee of Lord Rama,Janaki Ma, Hanumanji. I saw some of NDTV New Ramayan parts.

So sorry for being so late to pen down my views..but m down coz of cough n cold...coz it rained so untimely

anyways... now I wont waste my time...

I cudnt watch Ramayan in its original telecaste, coz...I wasnt born that time.😆 But the serial laid such a large impact on my spritual life, my personal life, its said that children learn what they see, my grand ma and grandfather used to sit with me n make me watch the show, when it was telecasted for d second time on DD, I was too young to watch it, and my doctor Tauji also prohibited Tv for me that time. SO my grandma, buaaji n grand pa used to tell me d story of what happend in Ramaayn..n as a child I was so eager to see it...

When I grew up...means 5 or 6..I think it was telecasted again in 1998 or so...dont remember the year..but I think it was sony tv...I was so mad after the show...I remember once our Tv didnt work..I cried alot for Ramayan...then my dear papa took me to various houses in our neighbouhood..but coz the cable waala was on holiday..no one cud watch RAMAYAN...but we found just one house where Tv was showing my life RAMAYAN😆 we sat their n watched the epi..it was war sequence I think..

that time also @ the age of 5, I had a crush on Arun Govil, he just fetched my heart...n till date as u all know I've a crush on him😆 but that time...ha ha u wont laugh no if I tell u one thing.. ha ha ...I used to take dupata of my bhuaji ..n said main Seetaji hoon...m I looking like Seetaji😆😆😆😆 n if some1 said yes...then to I started crying take me to my Ramji...take me to my Ramji...😆

1 more interesting thing..my father had a frnd named Sugreev, n I used to think, he's d same Sugreev, n uncle also took me to his home n used to show me various Maces (Gadas), n ol...which were kept for Ram lila on Dushera eve.😆

..in the next post I'll tell u some of my favs frm RAMAYAN!😃
