Do you have the HQ promos of the three episodes where Debina was in MSDK?

No, they're not in Imagine's home page. I thought that Vik had given you the dates of the episodes some pages ago, and you had found them and made siggies based on those.

Vik, other than Mahadev, Adi Pachori would have fitted the role of Balarama pretty well, except that that's already taken. He seems a bit too thin to be a Bhima, and I certainly don't want to see him in a Kaurava role. One role he might be good at if it's noted and given due importance - Satyaki, although I don't recall any serials that feature him in a big way. He's not mentioned much in Shrimad Bhagvatam, but in the Kurukshetra war, he was the second most important warrior in the Pandava army after Arjun, in fact more skilled in chariot warfare than even Bhima!!

For the Pandava women, there is Kunti, Draupadi & Subhadra. I think Meenakshi is too old to be Uttara, or even Subhadra, but not beautiful enough to be a Draupadi. Just can't think of where to fit her. Among the Kaurava women, there was Gandhari, and if they do show the incident of Krishna's son Samba abducting Duryodhan's daughter Lakshmanaa, then that would be the other Kaurava woman I can think of. I doubt they'll show Duryodhan's wife Bhanumati in a big way. As vaarali & I discussed in the DBSK Doubts & Discussions thread, she had a sister Jalandhara, who was enamored of Bhima, but never actually married him, probably due to political circumstances. But I doubt that DBSK will show the other Pandava wives like Hidimbaa, Uloopi, Chitrangada, et al. Just Draupadi, Subhadra & Uttara.

So I just can't imagine what role Meenakshi can play here, if she were to join.

Yeah, Imagine uploading its promos and episodes is more recent a policy. Previously, all they used to do was have YT slash & burn any other uploads, but recently, they've changed that to uploading their own. It's available, albeit after a brief wait, longer in case of DBSK 👎🏼

Since these episodes are pretty old, I doubt you'll find them on Imagine HQ or their YouTube site. Actually, anything on Imagine's HQ will be embeds of their YT uploads.

October 15th was about how Shani punishes a godman who was a sexual predator who used his influence to prey on young girls.
There is a man Shankar and his wife, who have a daughter Radhika. The mother wants her to marry, but she refuses, saying that she's a devotee of Krishna and can only accept HIM as her lord. Her mother tells her that it's fine to be devout and all that, but she also has to fulfill her family obligations. The father too tries to persuade her, but she refuses to listen.

So the father decides to take her to a swami Bhadreshwar, who incessantly chants 'Anandi ho anand'. He is listening to cases of different people. One couple tells him that their daughter, though married for many years, has still not conceived. Bhadreshwar tells them to send their daughter to him in the evening, and he'll take care of the matter. 🤢 The family agrees.

Next comes Shankar's turn, and he tells Bhadreshwar that his daughter refuses to marry, since she's obsessed w/ Shri Krishna. Bhadreshwar listens to the case and then tells him that he'd visit them the next day and propose some things.

That night, Bhadreshwar, who only has about 4 female attendants, asks them to bring in the woman who was childless all these years. The woman is brought in, and bows to him and is seated next to Bhadresh. The attendants give her a drink which is spiked, and she collapses on Bhadresh after drinking it. What follows, though not shown, can easily be imagined 🤢

The next day, Bhadreshwar visits Shankar's house and is greeted by him & his wife. He magically produces an apple and gives it to Bhadresh to be distributed as prasad. Shankar calls Radhika down, and Bhadresh tells them that in her previous birth, she was one of Krishna's gopis who had a heartbreaking separation from him, and so hadn't gotten over that. Radhika's mom tells him that she doesn't understand all that, but that she needs to marry. Bhadreshwar, who all this time is touching Radhika inappropriately on her face, tells them to send her to his place in the evening, and he'll give Krishna's darshan for her so that she can be over her obsession.

Shani is watching this and is furious that Bhadreshwar is playing w/ the sentiments of a Krishna devotee. He says that his cup of sins is full, and mentions how Krishna forgave Shishupala 99 times b4 killing him on the 100th. Bhadreshwar looks like someone who'd have to be similarly punished. Radhika's mom objects to her going to the godman's house, but her father overrules her. She then prays to Shani to save her daughter. Shani says that Bhadreshwar will first have to be exposed b4 his chelas b4 he is punished.

Later, Shani visits Bhadreshwar's chamber in the guise of a devotee, and lays down his problem - his father is suddenly incapable of seeing. Bhadreshwar tells him that he'll get something to put on his eyes, as usual, tries to use his magic to invoke the solutions. The first time he does that, Shani sends a spell, and Bhadresh's exercise is ineffective. He is surprised, and tries again, and this time, Shani makes chilli flakes appear in his hand. Bhadresh is shocked, and Shani asks him surprised how can he put chillies in someone's eyes 😆 Bhadresh is furious and tells Shani that he's a sinner, and orders him evicted, and 2 of the guards evict Shani. Then a newly married couple go to Bhadresh for blessings, and he tries to give them something - maybe prasad - but instead, some powder lands on everybody. Bhadresh gets furious and tells everybody to leave.

Shani is walking when he sees Shankar & Radhika on their way to Bhadresh's ashram. He tells them that Bhadresh today dismissed everybody and won't be seeing anyone. Just then Bhadresh arrives, and smiles on seeing Shankar but frowns on seeing Shani. He tells Shankar that while it's true that he dismissed his assembly, he'd still keep the appointment of yesterday. Shani looks @ him in disgust. Shani then goes to an area where some of Bhadresh's disciples are sitting, and starts playing a flute. They are mesmerized, but Shani tells them that they could hear even better music somewhere else. On being asked, he tells them the swami's place.

In Bhadresh's ashram, Radhika has arrived, and is readied by the attendents, when suddenly Bhadresh appears, all decked as Krishna 🤢 He tells her that Krishna's spirit has possessed him, and starts playing the flute. Radhika starts dancing, and in the meantime, Shani and the disciples arrive and are watching it from a distance outside. Finally, Bhadresh gets Radhika to sit on a bed and gives her the spiked drink to make her faint. Then he's about to make his moves on her.

At this point, Shani makes Radhika conscious, and she wakes up to see Bhadresh on top of her. Bhadresh tells her that he's the lord, but Radhika tells him that he isn't, and gets up. She starts running and he starts chasing her. Shani tells the disciples to now intercept him and take action. While Bhadreshwar is chasing her, he is intercepted by his disciples and beaten up He then breaks away and flees.

All the disciples, as well as Shani, Radhika and her parents are in the chase, and Bhadresh finally enters a temple, all bruised & beaten. He stands b4 a statue of Krishna. The men are about to follow him, but Shani tells them not to taint themselves needlessly by violence in a temple. He then tells Bhadresh that nothing short of death is suitable for his sins, and notices some oil lamps on the top. He casts his spell, and those lamps fall right on top of Bhadresh, setting him ablaze.

Shani then appeals to Krishna to make an appearance, or else the faith the people there have will be shattered. Radhika prays to Krishna and begs him to prove that he isn't just a vehicle for predators like Bhadresh to abuse, but there for his devotees. Suddenly, Krishna appears, and everybody goes down on their knees. He blesses them, and when they get up and are admiring him, he disappears.

Comments: Good episode. Only thing, I thought the ending was rather incomplete - either Shani should have gone on after that to explain to Radhika why she needs to marry, or explain to her parents why she doesn't need to marry. It was pretty inconclusive, in the context of past episodes where Shani forced Narada or Vanraj to marry.

Ok, I'll just fill the gap for the 8^th October. I didn't watch the first part so I'll just start from that part I watched.

8^th October W/U

Dharmamani (DM) has arranges a marriage ceremony for 11 girls, and then the priest is telling him that now by doing it he has washed away his sins. Shani is angry & is saying that it cannot wash his sins & he'll get punished for what he did.

DM is worshipping a cow to wash away his sins. Shani requests the cow to punish DM as he's faking it just to wash his sins. The cow gets aggressive & throws DM on the ground & starts chasing him & he runs to save his life. His personal assistant passes a comment that finally he is getting punished for his deeds & laughs.

DM climbs a tree. Shani arrives there in disguise & asks him who is he running away from, is it his sins? DM gets angry & says he's not running away from his sins & gets downs & goes from there.

Shani disguises himself as DM & enters the house. His personal assistant asks him it doesn't look like he even got hurt. DM says the cow got afraid of him & ran away. Shani as DM informs everyone that he saw someone who looked exactly like him & might enter the house. Just then the real DM enters the house & both are taken to the king to decide who the real one is. The king asks the wife to decide it. She asks them she's on a fasting & asks why is she doing it for? The real DM says how can he know why she's fasting & for what, he's always outside for work. Shani as DM gives the correct answer & the real DM gets whipped badly.

DM goes to those people whom he had troubled (there are flashbacks that he had snatched away the necklace of a bride on the wedding day so she committed suicide & he had got a man beaten badly as he couldn't return his money, so maybe this was shown in the first part that I had missed) & asks them to recognize him & gets beaten by them but still doesn't regret on his deeds. Shani gives DM a ring & he becomes happy & thinks he'll sell it & buy some food to eat. DM is on his way & is stopped by the soldiers. They see the ring & take him to the king. The king sees it & says it's a royal ring & by stealing it DM has betrayed the state so he shall be executed.

In the prison, DM finally gets flashbacks of his wrong deeds & regrets for what he had done in the past. Shani at his place says people tend to realize their mistakes during the last days of their life & DM is repenting truly from his heart now.

DM is brought to the place for execution. His family arrives & his wife says he's not the look-alike but the real DM so she begs the king to forgive him. The king mentions the robbery of the royal ring which cannot be forgiven. Shani arrives at the last moment & tells the king to put his hand in his bag. The king takes out another ring which looks exactly like the one he is wearing. Shani says he gave the ring to DM & he didn't steal it so there's no question of punishing him. The king cancels his order. DM unites with his family.

Sorry for a rushed up update. It's been many days so I've even forgotten many scenes plus I tried to make it short😳

My comments: It was a good episode, though I felt a bit incomplete. No doubts DM didn't get killed coz during the nyaya chakra nobody dies, I mean the person who's receiving the punishment never gets killed. But seems the trend got broken on the 15^th October episode.

Thanks for the update Vrish. I missed the entire episode. Bhadreshwar's character sounds simply disgusting. Ok so for the first time in the history of MSDK the one who is being punished actually receives death from the hands of Shani. Bhadreshwar died, didn't he? 🤔

I agree with you. The episode seems to be an incomplete one. Some questions unanswered. Maybe she had to marry bcoz of the pitri rin which was the mentioned reason during the Narad & Vanraj episodes or she being the female gender maybe matri rin LOL! 🤪😆 Something like she has the responsibility of giving birth to kids for the world to function smoothly & if she doesn't then it will affect the world's life cycle BLAH BLAH BLAH & all that stuff! LOL!😆

Janakiraghunath I had only found one promo of Debina's episode. I have no idea about the other promos.

Thanks for the 8th Oct update. Actually, in addition to 15th Oct, the episode w/ Vanraj did involve his dying, so the Bhadreshwar incident was not the first.

One thing I forgot to mention about 15th Oct - the guy who made a cameo appearance as Krishna in the end was totally unimpressive - he could well play the role of a Sikhandin. They should have loaned Vishal for that appearance.

Glad to see you back. When are your exams? The Mahabharat track has started in DBSK, so it's starting to get interesting for those who are more familiar w/ it than w/ Krishna's Dwarka stories.
