compare amits in dino, jhumroo, bheegi bheegi with irfans n ull c the diff... amits renditions were far better... so i guess an amature singer wins over a trained one... fine support u r show but appreciate talent n dont put down contestants in the other shows...

I think wht Shaan said abt II-3's singers was bang on....comapred to the singers on SVOI and SRGMP, the singers on II-3 are downright pathetic. Amit maybe a good singer but compare him to the likes of Raja, HArshit, Abhas and Poonam, he looks very mediocre.

I kinda agree with what Shaan has said but that doesn't mean Amit is an amature singer ..

This show definitely lacks some good judges who can critically look in to JUST their singing ... They also need to be quite strict during the auditions to bring in some real good talent ..

Having said that this year we did have some great ones like Emon, Deepali, Puja and Amit ... 👏 👏 👏
Some cute ones like Chang .. 😍 😆

Its not a fair basis of comparison, coz in Star voice of India and Sa re ga ma pa, the guru's that is the judges itself TRAIN the singers for each round, hence obviously their singers singing would be much better. While Indian Idol singers don't get any help, also I'm pretty sure if they were trained for EACH round, then they'd be as awesome as their music counterparts and Sa Re - and SVOI. For ex: The indian idol singers were trained for the song Roobaroo, and I thought they sounded pretty awesome, infact I like the Idol version of Roobaroo more than the original one. So thats the diff, so it isn't a fair comparison. Plus I can accept the fact that II has lower qlty singers compared to SVOI, but SaRegamapa - no ways!

i know i completely agree.........though i think the contestants he named in srgmp are great......i havent heard anyone on voi but now i think ill have to.......but ii singing wise def has not that great of singers.........its 10 times worse than srgmp i know that for sure.....and i totally agree with you.......cuz many tymes when they argue over sur its so incredibly stupid.......one judge says the person was in tune and another says the person was totally flat.....comeon now, theres a huge difference between missing no surs and being flat........its so stupid.......it makes me feel more knowledgeable in music than these people......and i know ive been singing for 11 years now and thats still nothing compared to how much training people like udit narayan may have done......though in terms of sur, i think uditji was the best in catching offtune renditions of songs.......but anyways, the show gets judges in accordance with the type of contestants they have........with not such great singers, you can only expect to have not so great judges like the ones we have on indian idol......naina

I am sorry to hear what Shan said about the Indian Idol not being as good as SVOI. Well, I happen to check their show quite a few times. I found their show very boring. Yes the two finalists on II are not as good as they should have been but they had Emon, Puja, Dipali who were just as good as the singers of his show. I hope before making the comment as biased as that he needs to listen to some of the better singers of II.

The article is all about comparing the contestants of the show, both amit and prashant are amatures, but amits voice quality is the best among all the singers in the three competition. Moreover, the participants in SVOI are all trained singers, Abhas, Toshi, Irfan, priyani all are former participants in zee kids competition. The best thing about II is that they make the amatures confident and a platform to learn. Udit Narayan, Shaan all were amatures when they came to Mumbai, uditji came to mumbai to become a hero of movie than a singer, people accepted them because they had a different voice quality, who knows amit, emon, deepali, chang will become one of the top singers in a year or two, if they learn music sincerely.

Shaan is right in a way....the singers in SRGMP and SVOI are much better than the II3 singers. This year I feel II3 standards are way below than the last 2 seasons.

Though I don't like the judge's drama on any of the musical reality shows... cos it is only to garner TRP's 😡 Those silly fights are too much, I hate the ones between Alka and Abhijeet they act worse than kids. 🤢
