I was so shocked when parleen was out!! He was really nice and tried to cheer up everyone else.. but it was so touching and sad 😭 seeing everyone cry inc the anchors and judges, and knowing that i'll never see my fav parleen on idol again 😭 😭 😭
what was the public thinking!!! 😡 meanwhile people like prashant remain there!!
it's always heart wrenching to see someone leaving but don't you guys think that we are a tad bit too emotional? it's a singing competition and there can only be one winner at the end. 😉
Maybe we're but there are times when emotions and tears can't be helped, and this was one of those times.
the tendency of many people, as can be seen in this forum, is that they stick to their favorites and don't judge contestants fairly based on their performances and when someone leaves, everyone is eager to cry a river, be the eliminated one is their favorite or otherwise. 😆
Err...I don't know about everyone but my favorites or not, I still try to judge the performances fairly and appreciate all if they're good. As for your other point, The ousters of Jolly, Charu and Smitha didn't make me cry much. I felt sad for Jolly and Charu but they deserved to get ousted on the basis of their respective performances. Smitha was very graceful and didn't even deserve to go that day but it didn't make me very emotional to see her go, I just admired her for carrying herself well but with Parleen, it was a different story altogether. And liked him or not, I didn't for a second even before the result episode think he deserved to get ousted this week based on his 'mere khalayon ki malka'.

I have a confession to make. For the most part of my II experience I have considered Parleen Gill as the weakest among boys and always thought he deserved to go long time back. I never even got his charm and why girls loved him, didn't particularly enjoy any of his performances with the exception of 'teri deewani','chain khuli ki mein khuli' and a few more and just now when Parleen and his singing were starting to kind of grow on me, he got ousted. Agree, he's not been consistent with his gala performances but for me, he was the only one who sang well yesterday other than Amit and Emon. It feels really good that puja and deepaliwere safe today and that was what I wanted too but parleen wasn't the one who deserved to get ousted today, it must've been one of Abhishek, Chang and Prashant to go instead and this coming from me who was once a chang and prashant fan says a lot.

Parleen's exit was the most touching of all that have happened till date on the stage of II3 and the only one that made me shed tears other than Richa's. The way he was trying to keep his emotions in control, the way everyone around him just couldn't help but let their tears out, the way puja was the first one to go to him after his elimination and most importantly when he finally broke down on puja's shoulder made my heart ache. What a lovely display of genuine emotions. I thought why nobody was going to him since he's always the first to lend a shoulder and hugs when somebody else gets ousted and there Puja was!👏

Parleen, I salute you for being the wonderful human being that you're. You will surely be missed and I'll wait for you to get your due from life. And I'm really sorry for not seeing you first for what and whoyou actually are. 😭
