Parleen: How my own words haunt me!

I have a confession to make. For the most part of my II experience I have considered Parleen Gill as the weakest among boys and always thought he deserved to go long time back. I never even got his charm and why girls loved him, didn't particularly enjoy any of his performances with the exception of 'teri deewani','chain khuli ki mein khuli' and a few more and just now when Parleen and his singing were starting to kind of grow on me, he got ousted. Agree, he's not been consistent with his gala performances but for me, he was the only one who sang well yesterday other than Amit and Emon. It feels really good that puja and deepali were safe today and that was what I wanted too but parleen wasn't the one who deserved to get ousted today, it must've been one of Abhishek, Chang and Prashant to go instead and this coming from me who was once a chang and prashant fan says a lot.

Parleen's exit was the most touching of all that have happened till date on the stage of II3 and the only one that made me shed tears other than Richa's. The way he was trying to keep his emotions in control, the way everyone around him just couldn't help but let their tears out, the way puja was the first one to go to him after his elimination and most importantly when he finally broke down on puja's shoulder made my heart ache. What a lovely display of genuine emotions. I thought why nobody was going to him since he's always the first to lend a shoulder and hugs when somebody else gets ousted and there Puja was!👏

Parleen, I salute you for being the wonderful human being that you're. You will surely be missed and I'll wait for you to get your due from life. And I'm really sorry for not seeing you first for what and who you actually are. 😭

n parleen was never my fav but today he sang so well...based on yesterday's performnce chang or prashant deserved to go...not parleen

I second that.. Parleen did not deserve to go today..in my opinion, it should've been Prashant to go.

exactly.......... it was a very touchy moment .. i also started crying wid him though i liked him but i was not his fan 😭

hmmmm..another PANNA GILL...even tho i believe dat PANNA is farrrrr better dan parleen...but parleen was way better dan d stupid abhishek...who has been performing bad since forever...n i can never forget d misbehavior he showed wen...suhit was out...dint even consider to hug him...wat a shame...seriously ABHISHEK has got to GOOOOOOO.....!!!!!!!!!!!

His break down is still giving me tears. And I'll tell you people what, even my sister didn't like him much and she's mostly tough as nails and seldom cries but the moment Parleen broke down, there she was, flooded by her own tears and trying her best to hide them from me.. 😭

u know simplyvivacious my sis also used 2 hate parleen like anything..she always wanted him 2 b eliminated but 2day she cried 4 him..she was feeling very bad tht abt watever she used 2 say abt parleen

same here nvr liked him but his exit was one of the most depresiing exits 😭

To add to what I said before: His exit was one of the most graceful ones I have ever seen on a reality show.

Honestly speaking, it was like a wake up call for me. How we sometimes think we have the right to judge people and justify ourselves to ourselves and how our own words can come and haunt us, how we sometimes are forced to eat our own words. . Life has taught me one more lesson today.
