Harshida Spoke The Truth.........

When they showed the previous II contestants commenting on why girls get voted out, I really liked Harshida's comment. Whatever she said, was extremely true.

India cannot see a female being an Indian Idol and I guess that is the main reason why Indian Idol is never a girl. India even though shows to give equal importance to both sexes, it does differentiate between the two sexes in many ways. Whateva Harshida said was extremely true and is a point that should be noted. She even spoke about Pop Idol and American Idol were girls won because it is true that in these countries females are equally treated as males and there is no form of differentiation. Well said Harshida...... 👏 👏 👏

BTW it was so great to see Neha Kakkar after such a long time. I really liked her in II2. She rocked. And Prajakta looked so cute and different today. She was also really good.

I think girls go ga ga over boys and vote for them and boys are smart and vote for boys.
India is proud to have had a female Primeminister and US till now never had a female President.So dont blame India and blame the girls who talk of how sexy and how hot and good looking the boys are and dont care how well they sing and are blinded.This is my opinion and I am not Directing this at any one.

Well girls are definately a reason, but the mentality of some Indians of males bein superior to females is extremely valid as well......

It's not India ..it's the girls all over India and now same could be true in other parts where the voting is allowed ...

they vote maximum and they always go for the hot and cool guys ...

I am not talking about everybody but majority does that ....and girls vote maximum than the guys hence the result always tilt towards a guy !!!

I agree. Even in the video clip,it was obvious how biased people are towards boys. It was nice to see Neha and Meenal. I think if Neha was participating this year, she would have made it a long way as this year the focus is more on performance irrespective of singing.

u never know may be the channel does it on purpose they always have made some goodlooking guy the indian idol who can later on mint money for them i am sure this year also they will first safegaurd their interest

I agree its definitely one truth. Last season, Antara said in a Sify chat the she voted for Rahul Vaidya and Amit Sana in II1.

But there are other truths as well i.e. regional voting, "underdog" factor, personality etc.

If it was the only truth, Suhit would have been in the top 13. So glad he wasn't.
Similar voting trends apply to AI too. We can say its one reason Blake made it to the top two and not Melinda or Lakisha. Many felt they didn't "look" like an American Idol. Maybe it was the image factor. Sanjaya was quite popular last season as well. 😊

Anyway it was nice to see former contestants like Meenal and Prajakta again. I'm glad the channel asked for their opinions.

I feel sorry for harshida who lives in the UK, calls herself indian, yet despises her own people. Is she a desh bhagt??
