I thinkKarunya will have a bright future though he didnt win the compettiton but i hope he gets noticed and gets many offers.

Bikaner residents played the system the right way. When you have a group of students just taking turns whole night to sit and vote for Sandeep, it shows how much of a mockery this whole thing is. That is not voting as much as rigging. I'm surprised that Sony did not invalidate that once they found that out.

As for Sandeep, the money is great, but unless he works very hard he will encounter the same dearth of offers that Qazi is seeing.

let me tell u the real reasons Y karunya lost.

reason 1: Massive Voting from Bikaner region (as everyone saw on Tv, people were voting from PCO day n night)

reason 2: Judges bias towards karunya generated sympathy votes for Sandeep.

reason 3: Home advantage for sandeep, people from south voted very little for karunya.

reason 4: as the old proverb "Good guys finish last", So Amey and Karunya lost.

So true, Judges were too explicit in their support to Karunya...to the point that they began almost humiliating Sandeep, everyone knew that Karunya was the better of two..there was no need to harp it every two minute, there is a saying that too much of anything is bad, that is what happened in the end.

BTW, did they announce the % of votes both got and also how many votes were polled?

id say because indian idol is an icon and karu is a brilliant singer no one can deny that but hes not icon material....he doesnt have the personality to back up the idol title....
