Karunya didn't win because he did not get enough votes. He did not get enough votes because he could not get as many people mobilized to vote multiple times for him as Sandeep could. Karunya and Sandeep will both get opportunities in the music world. As will Hema, as will Nihira as will Monali etc.
The truth is that there are many opportunities out there, there are also many competitors...the field widens in fact.
Itis great that Karunya got all those compliments from the judges and guests. Now lets wait and see how many get translated into real offers. As for Sandeep, it will be interesting to see if he uses this platform and opportunity to grow as a singer. He has a great financial and contractual cushion to find time and space to grow.

According to me the reasons were --
1)Excessive hype by the judges
2)Sympathy that Sandeep got over the bad mouthing by the judges & celebrities
3)Over confidence & Arrogant behaviour of Karunya over the last few episodes ... probably he took his win for granted
4)Finally it is unfortunate that even though there was a lot of publicity for Karunya in comparision to Hemachadra (who had none) he lost . Probably , South Indians are more intelligent when it comes to spending their money ... they do not spend on useless things like SMS ...

In a way it is a blessing in disguise , I hope he is not bound by any contract & continues his singing like Hemachandra as both of them are really talented & would it make it big ...

i think his drawback was he is the best ..usually people don't like who proves himself ....don't know if they feel insecure about their own shortcomings in life but usually most people hate succesful people and who have drive to win ....where as they love someone who is not perfect ...and also i think here looks over talent .......even when i see on the forum ...goodlooking guys mostly fair looking guys get the most fans .....some people cannot go beyond looks ....these people keep jumping around and change their idols ...probably they will forget sandeep when another cute looking guy walks in and they go gaga over him ....whatever i know karunya has a great future so it doesn't matter who wins ...i hope sandeep comes out of udit ji shadow and make a place for himself .... 😊

2. his smile didnt impress the enormous female population.
3. he didnt move his hands quite often like Sandy did.
4. he didnt belong to North India.
5. The Bikaner ppl wanted to be recognized.
6. ppl wanted a hakla to be the Idol so that he is unable to talk in public.

People who keep blaming Karunyas fans need to understant one thing...
Bikaner residents played the system the right way. When you have a group of students just taking turns whole night to sit and vote for Sandeep, it shows how much of a mockery this whole thing is. That is not voting as much as rigging. I'm surprised that Sony did not invalidate that once they found that out.

As for Sandeep, the money is great, but unless he works very hard he will encounter the same dearth of offers that Qazi is seeing.
