DISCUSSION: Voting pattern!!!

This week's results have shocked most of us. How could the two best singers of Gala 3 be in bottom 3?

What exactly is janta looking for? Why are some contestants getting more votes inspite of bad performance?

Are supporters not voting enough? Are votes getting divided because there are more than one contestant from same region?

Are besuras and people who have no clue about music sending in more votes?

In my opinion the reason for meenal and amey to be in bottom 3 and not receiving enough votes is just coz of their performance and that lacking x-factor.everybody in india knows that they both r wonderful singers but just coz they cant dance well u cant make them come in bottom 3 😡 i think they r just too gud for janta....

The main reason for ravi being safe is just coz of the sympathy he is getting coz of him being a little over age and antara coz she is from a small town and there fore our sweet old indian janta wants her to get famous and earn some money 😡 at first i also liked her but coz of her attitude and her poor song selection i do not like her now..........

i never understand that why is sandeep so popular among janta may be its coz he is from rajistan 😕

watever the reason now people should understand that agar woh achai singer ko vote karain ge tabhi acha sunain ge!!!!!!!!!!!

Its because Meenal & Amey dont cry buckets full of water

Its because they dont belong to a small village where no music lessons are available.

Its because they dont have 'bad throats'

Its because they do not jump around and sing all kinds of silly songs

Its because they are simply the BEST and Indian ppl cant tolerate talented ppl being sucessful

I agree 100%. I've said the same as well. Confidence, acting normal and being talented are a SIN on reality TV. You can't be normal and if you are, they'll make you look bad one way or another. If you don't cry, you're automatically labelled as arrogant.

i feel that:

AMEY:he said rightly that ppl had failed to vote for him as his song wasnt one of the most popular ones...ppl always like to hear the songs which they have heard lots of times and which they r familiar with.his song wasnt such.also....he is a very very stable singer and sings in complete sur but his voice quality isnt very high.i mean the sweetness in ones voice influences ppl quickly.

MEENAL:i think she is an arpita type character.(not that mean 😆 just jidding)arpita(FG) wasd one of the best singers and so is meenal.i feel public dislikes some ppl with no strong reason.

I dont know how good singers like amey and meenal are getting to the bottom. Its really confusing making it had to believe that people are voting for besuras. Both amey and meenal were good on that day and they deserve top positions.

Well .... I made an effort to analyse whats might be the reason

1) Regional votes - Might be a possibility but on a contradiction, Antara n Monali, both are from West Bengal and they always endup getting on top irrespective of their performance. Again Ravi and AMey are from bombay and was dumb stuck to get to know that ravi got more votes than amey.

2) Sympathy factor - Amey did mention that he dedicated the song to his cousin on the death bed. i was wondering if thats a good move, as people would feel sorry for amey n his cousin cast the vote, but doesnt seem to work.

3) Performance n dance - Well, the strength of panna n neha was the way they moved their waist. Thats the reason people voted. But when it boils down to ravi n sandeep who seldom shake their legs, still they get the votes when others are singing n performing better.

4) Looks? - If thats truw, why sagar?

What do you say guys? What might be the unusuality ?

I feel the voters fimiliarity of song, sympathy are important factors now.

maybe the voting is fixed or else why would someone like Ravi be safe

i would say this is true of all reality shows

look at the winners of another reality show

but public votes only if they feel for someone

if they feel he/she is a good singer they wont vote bcos they think they will succeed anyhow

if u r singing bad or are poor u will get very high votesss
unfortunately thats the truth
