But the format will be similar with a twist. It will once again be 2 decades. So singers from the past 2 decades who sang well, with a little more importance given to singers who sing more during present times. So similar to all the contestants this competition (With singers like Anuradha and Sadhana being in original 12).

However, it will be more Sa Re Ga Ma Pa style. 4 Gurus. With each having their team of 4 singers. In other words, each judge/guru will have their own team of singers, who they are responsible for and thus they choose songs for them and so on. Just think SRGMP and how its done. Even though it's a competition of singers, there is some team aspects of it as well.

But anyways, more details would be included later IF this was run. And obviously, the singers would be divided in some way so that each guru has singers they like. So just imagine, your team of 4, consisting of some of the best singers in the past 2 decades.......Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet, Shaan, and I could go on forever!

Thx RA 4 another amazing comp. Eagerly awaitin d male edition. Plz dnt forget my fav. KK 😛

This competition grabbed my immediate attention when it was first being run on MKMM forums. I am so proud today to be a part of this competition, it has made my music sense so much stronger than before. It helped me learn, it helped me to be patient. A worthwhile experience for me.

Thank you risingabove for bringing back this competition with such a wide variety of singers. Thank you for making me a part of it. Thank you for all your support when I was busy in my studies. You will always remain our 'Evil Genius' Producer Ji 😊

Thank you to my co-judges for tolerating me and appreciating me as well. It has been a great learning experience to work here with you all. Even if we had arguments, we all know that it was all a part of the game and nothing beyond that. We will always feel connected because of this game that we judged together. So, a big thank you to xobile, rani and ssk.

I am anxiously looking forward for the male competition with the new format. risingabove never fails to surprise me and that is what I love about her.

For all those who regularly post their ratings in the competition, Thank you for being a part of this competition, without you, it would have been impossible.

Shreya Ghoshal is one of the most deserving singers to win this title. She has become the icon of the young genration, a respectable combination of moderate modernism with strong traditional roots - she has it all. Her singing is praised by all great singers and composers, and she definitely deserves all of it. So, Congratulations to The Female Indian Idol of India Forums - Shreya Ghoshal. 😊

I'd like to second that!

She doesn't need a nobody like me to say it for it to be true, but Shreya Ghoshal IS the true female Indian Idol! What I LOVE about OUR Indian Idol game is that a deserving contestant wins! 👏 Unfortunately this can't be said of the ACTUAL Indian Idol show

Guys, did you realise that we listened to and scored ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN tracks during this competition 😲 That's an achievement in itself! 😆 And I think at least half of those song were new to me - I hadnt heard them fully or at all, in some cases, before this game!

Truly said xobile. It is all fair and square here, that is reason for its immense success and popularity. 😊

Are you serious? 😲 Hahaha. Wowww..and I have to listen to each song at least 5 times before judging! 😆 Same here, there were so many new songs for me and now I got to know all these legendary singers more closely, it was a thorough learning process. 😊

Like everyone has said, thanks Risingabove. It's been a great, and this time long journey.

I was just going through some of the top rated songs again, and yeah there has been some nice songs and singing performances, that prior to this competition I barely or ever listened too.

Otherwise you know, all the judges are good. someone999 had some issues in the beginning with Chithraji, but she improved. xobile was good for the most part, but many times was just wrong in what he spoke about. And CPR, for the most part was also good, but had some mental issues along the way.

The audience was great. (Besides for Killer and Debayon).

And yes, Sheya Ghoshal is a very deserving winner. I truly believe she is the best female singer today, and will eventually surpass Lataji. Thus, I have high thoughts of her as it is.

How dare you say that? That's not a very good thing to say. Everyone has their own opinion and they have a right to express them and I'm sure that's exaclty what Xobile did and you're saying he was wrong in what he said...

And what mental issues did Rani have? It's not right to say that someone is mad without knowing them personally. I'm sure she'll have a ton of things to say to you after she reads this and I hope she does.

Are you always this bitter or is today some special occasion?

I speak the truth. You can ask xobile and CPR for more information. xobile already knows that's why he said "lol" to my post. While CPR, had some clear mental breakdowns along the way where she just lost it. Ask her for more information on that.

Like I said, I just speak the truth. But I said good things too. Like I said, for the most part, they did a good job.
