Good that someone started the topic after seeing the episode I myself wanted to start such a topic ! Its outrageous to see the judges talk to the audience that way ! How dare they .
What is all this about girl becoming Indian Idol . Im always for womens equality ...but this is a singing competition. Javed aktar talks abt bias in religion state , etc etc why cant he understand the same and stop this nonsense about supporting girls . Support the good singer . I would not want a good singer to loose out based on his/her gender . We have so many singing shows and some shows (eg SRGMP) have more girl singers left than guys .
And Sonali Shini was definitly not the lead singer that she could have won Indian Idol 😕. So much importance and drama was not needed . Yes it natural to feel sad when someone leaves but blaming tha audience is pathetic. Audiences have their choice to choose to vote for whom they think is good .It may not match with the Judges comments .
Infact I have never seen such perfect voting as this time .I personally believe Remo, Kapil and Mohit are the weekest . But this week Remo suprised me ! And I feel based on his performance he deserves to be in . The judges simply dint want to praise him as they wanted to make sure their favourites are selected . Remo ultimately was convinced by all their pressure that he dint sing well ,poor guy .
And common what priyanka negi did was that called singing.puhhleeease , she was imitation the original with such a cacophonic voice . The judges need to stop judging the person , they need to judge the voice !!
And whats this hype about Bhavya . The judges seriously need to listen to some of the female singers of SRGMP .That is what a singing voice is .
The way she sang mera nam ... without any energy i wouldnt ever want to listen to her version and she rightly deserved to be in the bottom . And she is hiding behind the reason that janta this she is hot headed . Well good excuse👏👏 !
The judges need to stop imposing their view on the audience . If they are so agitated why dint they make this show non voting . They want the money , they want the TRP's but they dont want the decision of the Janta!!.

yeah I feel the same there is not one singer whose CD i would buy .All the singers are so below average . Bound to happen when Mr Anu Maliks selection was based in their personality. Come to think of it Soumen and vaishali are one of the best singers in SRGMP .If they had auditioned for Indian Idol anu would have rejected them in the audition round itself . And they talk abt bias !!

Guys, I feel there is something wrong with the judges. If Kapil and Remo are there in II4,then that was coz they were found to be good among the millions. So, let us not degrade them. I agree that Remo is most besura singer of all the lot. My personal favs are Sourabhee and Kapil. For me, the best singers of the remaining lot are as under:

1) Torsha
2) Sourabhee
3) Bhavya (I feel she has nasal twang, nobody seems to notice that)
4) Prosenjit
5) Priyanka
6) Rajdeep
7) Kapil
8) Bhanu
9) Mohit
10) Kuldeep
11) Remo
I do not know why I just don't like Rajdeep's voice now. His first gala performance was wonderful, exceptional, but after that he hasn't done that well, but like the saying goes " sawan ke andhe ko har taraf hariyali nazar aati hai", the judges have just shut themselves and they appreciate whatever he sings.
As an impartial audience, let me analyse the last week's performance.
1) Rajdeep - He was ok, but everyone gave him green.
2) Prosenjit - faboulous, he deserved all green
3) Sourabhee- good, the judgement was in line with her singing
4) Kapil - 2 red, 2 green. Now, pardon me what was wrong with his singing? Javed said that his "mukhda" was wrong, so he could not overlook that. Then how come he overlooked Mohit's performance?
5) Torsha - all red. Surprises, surprises. I thought she sang well.
6) Bhavya- all green, the best performance.
7) Remo - What's wrong with Javed? Remo was just screaming and Javed liked his performance.
8) Bhanu - Well below his standard. Jave again happened to like his singing.
9) Kuldeep - he did not deserve all red.
10) Mohit- what was good in his singing?
11) Shini - Well below her standard.
12) Priyanka - all green ,she desrved that.
My views, comments welcome!

very well said!

A few more words for judges.
1. For Rajdeep JA said he sang the lines of both singers and he carried it off well. Pardon me he sang only portions of Manna Dey and that too in some portions he punched that with lines of Kishore Kumar. That is a gross error on the part of a singer. The only portion of Kishore Kumar he sang was the ending sargam.
2. For Saurabhee again JA said that she should choose a more known song. Now that is his problem that he is not aware of a song from Chaalbaaz which was a pretty hit movie and this song was pretty hit as well.
3. What is this business of reserve my openion for future? When you expect junta to vote on basis of that day's performance, then why reserve openion.
4. Stop demeaning other contestants. Someone has to go every wekk, better get used to it. Suppose if they think Remo is the weakest would they congratulate junta the week he is voted out? Don't you think that is the most insulting thing they can do to a contestant who they themselve have selected for the piano rounds?

@ Mrs. Ackles: I really want to thank you so much for everything you wrote here. I agree with you. Also being a Kapil supporter I have to say that you are absolutely right. Kapil has always stated that he is from Dehradun and is a jawan in the Indian Army. Never once has he stated that he has roots to Darjeeling or Nepal. People are just assuming so because of his last name "Thapa" and are saying that he is getting regional or NE votes and so on.
Like you, I have always chosen to lend my support to the contestant who is criticized the most. What I really fail to understand, Mrs. Ackles is when Kapil auditioned, all the judges went gaga over him and they continue to do so till the audiences were allowed to voted and then what happened? They really started to treat him really poorly no matter how he sang, especially Javed Akthar. I have not heard a nice comment from him in a long time.
Are the judges themselves trying to promote regionalism by gving really bad comments to the contestants so that the conterstants look like they are only staying on because of votes? It just really makes me wonder sometimes and it is really very frustrating.

@ Howz: I also completely agree with you. If the judges are making contestants like Kapil (especially Javed Sir) look so bad right now no matter how well he sings, then why did all of them select him in the first place? They were extremely happy with him during the auditions. Every time I see Kapil's face after hearing the comments, my heart breaks. The judges are completely breaking his confidence down.
Also with the regionalism thing that almost everyone is saying here about Kapil I have to again say that Kapil has always said he is from Dehradun. Never once has he mentioned Darjeeling or Nepal. Just because his last name is Thapa, I guess it is really unfair for people to assume things.
Howz, I also like your analyzation. Thank you so much for this post.

Agree with Aamir's fan, Howz. Though i am not a big Kapil Fan....i like him a lot for his sincerity and do not like him being insulted at any point.
I guess the more they are insulted the more the audience wants to vote for them. This is exactly what Sony TV wants .......(MORE VOTES).
