If the makers can actually hear us! I agree that old is gold, but there should be a balance between the songs being sung on stage. The contestants are all so young and all, we do want them to sing songs during their generation too. YEA ARIJIT! He has such a beautiful playlist in his career.

Also Emraan Hashmi should be invited because he is probably one of the rare actors who has movies with great songs...even if it is a hit or not😎

Shaan and Kailash are on Zee TV right now.

Sunidhi and Shreya are both on maternity leave.

Plus this entire COVID situation must have made celebs think twice before going for filming right now.

Yes the covid situations might have turned things around, but it's been this way since the very beginning. They barely brought artists/celebs from the 90s + 2000s or 2010s. Our generation do have amazing talents....we just need to give equal appreciation to them.

Indian idol team are in a quest of finding another Kishore kumar ji, Rafi ji, Latha ji and Ashaji I guess. They always find their songs only. That too some songs are repeated as well. With all due respect to old songs sometimes it's quite monotonous. This season I don't think they will change anything atleast I hope next season have a better mix.
