Why always 40s,50s 60s,70s,80s?🙄

Just curious why Sony bring guests from oldies I don't disrespect them at all but nowadays there are so many beautiful songs sung by awesome new famous singers,lyricists,music composers..we have so many excellent actors and actresses nowadays as well..y Sony dont bring them ? Y same old songs in every Indian idol seasons from same old same old guests actors and actresses yes we respect them but y not little change for the viewers?they should bring recent actors,actreses singers along with our golden oldies as well..

Because the "oldies" have done much better work than anyone in the recent times. The newer gen all sound similar when it comes to sound, technicality and type of music.

The only composers from 2010s who have genuinely made a mark are Ajay-Atul and they have already appeared on the show.

That is just repackaging by giving it a new name.

Had it really been the golden era then Geeta Dutt, Manna Dey, Hemant Kumar would have been heard, they were a rage then.

The fact is they have a limited repertoire restricted to Lata M, Asha B and Kishore Kumar with an occasional Rafi just selling the same product under a different name in every episode.

Or maybe the ghost of Naushad has pierced the bubble and is calling the shots and the ancestors have descended from the heavens to enjoy their descendants sing..LOL

Same goes on actors ..they can invite mr.shahrukh khan, deepika, Ranvir singh,kajol,salman khan etc personality. .they all have picturised beautiful songs in the movies..for a change y not?

These guys charge lots of money which the channel won't agree on paying. And SEL, Pritam, Sajid Wajid are the only ones from 2000s who have done work heard by everyone. The rest...not so much.

Its a music show, actors always make it about themselves and not the songs (barring Jackie Shroff). They refuse to acknowledge that music was the key to majority of their success. I'd rather watch true legends who don't do paid publicity and PR on the show.

Yea am actually bored seeing repeated artists coming to Indian idol 12, they are so many great singers and celebs out there...why can't they invite the likes of Sukhwinder Singh, Kailash Kher or Rahat Fateh Ali Khan or Even Shaan Sunidhi Shreya..is it too much to ask?I don't mind seeing SRK no matter how many times he came in previous seasons.
