Its possible...all the Idol contestants live in that house together.

And anyway he has been the weakest recently...I doubt the judges can force keeping him around.

But as per today's performance i don't think he would be in bottom coz bottoms are decided as per judges scores

Who all will they try to save?

SMP (of course), Pawandeep, Arunita, Ashish, Danish Nihal...out of all these Ashish is the weakest.

Nihal has definitely improved. I love his voice and some songs sound very beautiful in his voice.

Arunita was good as usual.

Danish I didn't enjoy much. Ashish was impressive. Loved SMP's performance especially Udi Udi.

Missed Pawandeep. I hope he gets well asap and come back.

Exactly.. getting irritated by some who expect him to blindly praise their favorites. If Rahman is really impressed by someone he never fails to make it known.

Re: Arunita and Nihal, today wasn’t their day and it showed in ARR’s feedback.

Won’t rlly blame Arunita because the song choices didn’t suit her tone. She has a sharper, piercing quality to her voice which is why imo she suits Lata/Alka songs the best compared to Chitra and Shreya who have a softer edge.. I also think Sireesha’s sargams sounded better.

Was getting annoyed by her fans in YT commenting that she sang these better than Chitra and Hariharan. I think she’s the best out of this bunch but don’t be ridiculous.

Similarly, having grown up listening to Roja on repeat I didn’t think Nihal even came close to matching the beauty with which SPB/Hariji sang the originals. Could’ve opted for an Arijit track instead I guess. He has definitely improved over the competition tho.

Didn’t think much of Ashish’s singing today as well, though he is a born stage performer.

I am not at all a Danish or SMP fan (in fact they are my least favorites), but both were good today.

Arunita was decent, not her best.

Both Nihal and Ashish ruined the songs for me, I felt like Ashish was worse. Nihal was good but his tone was very low in some parts.

Danish was on fire, loved his performance. He flows so well with his high and low notes.

Liked SMP's performance too.

Everybody was nervous today but still performed really well... Kudos to all the contestants

But in my openion this wasn't the best episode of idol as i expected like Pyarelaalji special episode was....that was the best episode for me..i loved everybody's performance from that episode also valentine's special episode

I watched today's episode for AR Rahman, and it somehow pleased and disappointed me at the same time.

First of all, AR Rahman - the living legend - has my respect for life. He did not give a single standing ovation and he kept a straight face throughout the episode. All his comments were concise and to the point. It was so refreshing to watch a judge be sane and composed on this show.

Today's performances were sub-par IMO. Rahman's songs are already a very high standard to meet, and on top of that, the contestants were quite nervous. You could see it in their performances or in their stance before/after their performance.

The most disappointing part of the episode was that other than Kun Faya Kun (the non-competitive performance), EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. WAS. A. REPEAT. Every song performed today has been sung in season 10, 11, or 12 or in all three.

I'm hoping tomorrow's episode is better. As far as I know, Anandji hasn't been on Indian Idol so there should be new songs tomorrow. I, for one, am excited for Anjali's performance. She is singing "Dil to hai dil," one of my favorites.

* Danish butchered chaiyya chaiyya for me - honestly, never heard such a horrid version of the iconic song. Why so many aalaps?

* Ashish was v mediocre today.
* Arunita was good - though she appeared to struggle at the high notes. May be out of nervousness.
* why was the MBD given randomly in between when only 3 had performed? Or was it an editing goof-up?
* as many have pointed out, why can’t the channel make everyone sing? Why should Danish perform twice & Ashish sing 3 songs?
* The channel should’ve acknowledged Shireesha’s contribution in 99 songs. Very insensitive of them to ignore this. Or did I miss any part?

* SMP’s close-ups competed with Kakkar throughout the episode!

* Still trying to get over the fact that Kakkar was sharing stage with ARR that too in the judges’ seat! Kya zamana aa gaya! Jeeju ki jai ho!

On a side note....

Arunita’s dress & accessories were lovely.
How many felt that Ehaan looks like Hrithik Roshan? And that was the fakest tears ever seen on TV! Hope he has acted better in the movie, for ARR’s sake! 😁

And for heaven’s sake Sony, pl pl stop these gigs on Ashish’s sweat! It is so yuck, & most definitely not funny! 😡

Don't know much about ehan but he looks like a nepo kid to me
