Start of episode
Amy comes upto Chandini and says, so finally you couldn't keep away from the ocean; it was a lot of fun right? Then suddenly she notices a red mark on Chandini's feet ( she hurt her foot unknowingly ) and asks her what happened. Chandini looking down is surprised and says I didn't even notice it. Amy says that is what happens if you get caught in the deep whirls of the ocean, you don't realize anything. She goes away from there leaving Chandini deep in thought.
In the lodge, everyone is looking at pictures which Adi clicked of them and passing it around and laughing. Chandini is upset and thinks to herself that there are no pictures of me. Kabir remarks to Adi that he has the special quality of bringing out the real and inner feelings of people in his photos. Adi says that is true and then remarks ( looking at Chandini ) and says that Bhooton ki tasveeren nahi aati. Chandini looks at him angrily. He says that all girls fall for him, even bhoots. Chandini remarks sarcastically that it is true because only a bhoot can fall for a person like him. Adi says that is not true and that he can make any girl dance to his tune. Chandini says to him, really and the two look at each other when suddenly the lights go off. Just then there is a knock on the door and a waiter comes in with candles saying the power has gone off and it could take some time before it comes on again. Adi lights up the candles and then notices Amy shivering with fear. He asks her teasingly whether she is scared and then Amy asks worriedly if there are any ghosts around here. Adi says you girls are always so scared of everything and Chandini indignantly says it is not true. Just then Adi makes a sudden movement behind Amy causing her to jump in fear. Everybody laughs at this except Chandini who is getting up. Adi asks her if she too got scared and Chandini says that she isn't scared of anything. Adi then challenges her to go to the shed at 12 in the night and wait for an hour. Chandini agrees and Kabir, Smitha and Amy are left shaking their heads over it.
Unknown to Chandini, Adi hatches a plan with Amy, Kabir and Smitha. He makes Amy dress up in a white sari with the pallu covering her head and a candle in her hand and records scary music on a taperecorder. Smitha asks worriedly if Adi is sure what he is doing and what if Chandini gets really scared. Adi tells her to relax and they go out. Just then Chandini then enters the godown with a flashlight. She has a scared expression on her face and keeps hearing the sound of payal ( Amy's ). Just then a hand taps her and she screams.
Adi, Kabir and Smitha who are outside are startled by the scream and Smitha says that looks like Chandini really got scared. Adi runs inside and looks for Chandini. Just then he notices Chandini's scared and tearful face peeping out from behind a bin. He goes upto her and asks her what the matter is. A terrified Chandini just collapses into Adi's arms and starts crying. Adi stunned slowly puts a hand around her trying to calm her down. Chandini then sees Amy's silhouette. Scared she points it out to Adi and tells him that there is definitely something which is haunting here. She then falls unconscious. Adi asks for water and sprinkles it on her. When Chandini gets up, she sees Amy removing the pallu and Adi, Kabir and Smitha laughing at her. Furious she tells Adi that this was your plan right? Adi laughingly nods his head. Just then Chandini angrily slaps him. Everybody is stunned at this. Adi asks her what is wrong and why she is overreacting to a simple prank. Chandini says that this was all a dirty trick on your part to make me scared so that you could take advantage of me. She storms away from there leaving poor Adi staring after her in dismay.
Chandini and Amy are in their room and Chandini is furious. Amy is trying to pacify her. She asks Chandini as to why she is so angry as it was just a harmless prank on the part of Adi. But Chandini says that it was not a prank, but a disgusting ploy on his part. Amy says that is not the case. Chandini gets even more upset and says that it was one thing that you sided with him in this prank, now don't try to defend him. It was my mistake and I shouldn't even have come to this picnic in the first place. Amy says fine, if you don't want to listen to my words, then from now on I won't talk to you. She leaves the room in a huff, leaving Chandini frustrated.
Poor Adi is also totally frustrated. He tells Kabir that no matter what I do, Chandini always thinks I am at fault. Kabir agrees with him and says that you must be going through a bad phase for sure because all your plans are failing. He tells Adi not to be so disheartened as he has had flirted with hundreds of girls before and ultimately what all girls want is to surrender to them. He advices Adi to go and tell Chandini sorry and that she will definitely forgive him. Adi looks hopeful at this and thanks Kabir telling him that he has boosted his confidence once more.
Next morning, Chandini walks to the beach and sees Amy sitting on a lounge chair. Amy looks at her, but ignores her. Chandini frustrated sits at a nearby chair. Just then Adi comes up to her. Amy says brightly, Hi Adi! Adi says hi to her and then says Hi to Chandini. He asks if he can have a few words with Chandini. Chandini gets up at this and says that first she wants to say something. She sarcastically thanks Adi because he stole her best friend away from her. She says ab to kaleja thanda ho gaya na and walks away from there in a huff. Poor Adi looks confused and says, what friend? Amy looks at him irritatedly and also walks away from there. Adi is now left totally confused. Just then Kabir walks up to him and asks him if he said sorry to Chandini. A frustrated Adi says she didn't give me any opportunity to do so. It now looks as if I have to take advice from Grandpa.
Grandpa laughs loudly on hearing about Adi's predicament over the phone. Adi indignantly asks Gp how come he is laughing when nothing is going right. He tells Gp that he thought that this picnic would give him an opportunity to get closer to Chandini, but she is even more distant from him now. Gp tells him that the only solution is to tell Chandini about his feelings. Adi asks how. Gp tells him that now I have to tell you how to do such a simple thing. Anyway he tells Adi to take Chandini somewhere alone for a few minutes and tell her the truth. Adi says then? Gp says then nothing, next whatever has to be done, Chandini will do it. He hangs up the phone and smiles to himself.

Preview of next episode: Everybody is gathered around a bonfire and Chandini and Adi are playing a word game. Chandini first says dil, Adi says dhadkan, Chandini says saansein, Adi says hawa, Chandini says Jhonka, Adi says shararat, Chandini stops for a second and says Adi. Everybody laughs at this including Amy. Adi tells Chandini that first she started with dil and ultimately ended up with Adi. So that means there is a connection between your dil and Adi. Chandini looks at him stunned.
