Well said. Sometimes I feel people have seen the same show which we have seen or a different show altogether. Falling out of love in a marriage is not a sin. There is nothing immoral or bad about it. In fact there is nothing called immoral or bad in the world precisely. Malini is very much in love with Adi and Adi understood that he is not in love and it will be really painful for Malini, I understand but it is the truth and she has to accept it some point.I would Imlie shattered Adi’s ego and bring him to her feet may times. Adi had the courage to choose the hard path of being with Imlie against the odds. For Imlie also it was even more hard path. They both choose to be together for their love and the relationship. Adi never wanted to become a bigamist but circumstances and the kind of people around him made him to do so. As soon as he realized he is in love with Imlie, he wanted to confess as a first thing. He couldn’t do because of Imlie being too stubborn and Malini being too weak. I remember the days Adi used to beg Imlie we cannot live a life like this , Imlie the typical know it all paati used to stand in Adi’s nerves and torture him similarly the way she tortured Aryan now.Adi was patient for her to come in terms of this truth and relationship and accept it. The coming out of truth was so delayed by Imlie becaue of her insecurities and fear, by the time it came people felt they have been betrayed.Adi could be a bigamist for a brief period but he was infediel both in his marriage with Malini and Imlie. Adi being a straightforward and honest person, fall prey to Malini’s mind games. In fact for all the wrong decisions or the mistakes he did in his life, he played a heavy price.

The cringe factor according to me was that FL was a 18-19 year old kid, forced into marriage with a man double her age only to find out that the man was going to marry someone else. Again we have a so called flawed ML who cannot make a decision about his own life, who he wants to be married to, who he wants to trust and who he is in love with. Most MLs in almost every ITV show are very much like this, some shows have him as businessmen, in some they are middle class employee, etc whatever the profession the TOXIC behavior is the same. Forget respecting a woman these MLs don't even respect themselves because everything they do is someone else's fault. They never say sorry or if they do, its just I am sorry now forget your self respect and come back. As if duniya pe koi ehsaan kar diya ho.

Coming to Aryan, regardless of his profession this is a man that enable women to make their own decision, I am not gonna comment on the last few weeks forced marriage, he knew he made a mistake and rectified it. But since he came in to Imlie's life he has pushed her to make decisions for herself without sacrificing for anyone else. He has mentored her, helped her with her career and shown respect to both his mom and sister. He even understands trauma that his sister and Imlie have gone through. This type of character has not been written in ITV specifically as ML, usually they are the minor supporting friends or something but never the main character. And never this level of grandeur.

I also started watching the show after Aryan's entry, it helped that he was easy on the eyes and afterwards Arylie chemistry just exploded.

Aditya as a duty bound person got into Pagdandiya and landed into mess. Imlie supported him as she believed his goals was to speak the truth.

He did highlight the village issues but got caught in conservative thought process of village mindet (it still exists in most of India... boy and girl if they stay together for 1 night rumors begin)... He got forcefully married and then tried to speak truth but stopped by Imlie and even Malini had her own set of issues. No one ill-treated Imlie in beginning of show.. these are for one's who saw only 1 side of story post Aryan..

Aryan character got introduced as even in early Bengali remake, the actress moves ahead with another guy... that is the story... there too Aditya ends up becoming possessive... here chance for Aditya got limited because of actor exit... so now Aryan may have to become possessive...

It is writer's vision to make someone fully white or fully black..

Actors only enact their roles..

The show script fundamentally falters as it doesn't show Imlie's growth at all. Earlier Malini hogged most of showtime and now it is Aryan... all others in periphery.

Aditya's character is an absolute complex one... it needs very good acting talent and nuances.. it is not the typical hero... it is about a man who keeps getting obstacles...for no reasons... He may have tried to believe Malini as he believed in true friendship. So many here... may have believed someone and lost some good friend in bargain... He is not calculative and that is the beauty of that character. He may have fallen in love with Imlie and vice versa.. but no where in show he ever misused Imlie or took advantage of her... Aryan's character is typical hero... playing to gallery... bond to get claps... but now onwards I believe Aryan's role may get a bit more complex... the tussle has to be shown... Aryan also does a good job... Early Aditya did a great job understanding those nuances... that age difference... the respect given to a young girl.. apparently now directors want to paint his character a bit low... (through Satyakam or Meethi.. maybe to help all understand that in life if at all anyone of us get a more richer beloved... maybe few of family members may just ask to latch on to richer one... human tendency.. This is where Imlie's conflict exist and shown.,.. She has a self respect and she wishes to do something on own... but caught in more episodes to keep pushing struggles of hero's relatives gunning for her.. *Earlier Tripathi and now Rathores....

Imlie's original love chemistry with Aditya just cannot be replaced by any Arylie whether it is acting or comfort or whatsoever...

a simple eye contact... a shock... or whatsoever it comes good with Aryan but too natural with earlier Aditya.

Pehli baat : Indian law ke hisab se domestic workers ko at least 37.5 rupees/hour milna kanoonan prapya hai. Uss hisab se Imlie ki at least 37.50 x 8 x 30 = 9000 ki salary Banti thi. Yeh sab gareebon-ke -maseeha patrakar ko pata hoga. Phir bhi aise employers ki jai ho Jo na ki daily wage dete hain, na salary, aur na weekly wages. Seedhe naukri chhodne par koi bhi random amount pakda dete hain aur mana Karo toh wapas bhi le lete hain. Hum sab ko aise hi bosses Milen!

Dusri baat : Malini gir padi thi toh phir uthi bhi toh thi baad mein! Who was stopping her fiancée from telling her the truth?

Teesri baat : Ek highschooler ki stupid salah sunkar agar ek 34 saal ka patrakar bigamy commit karta hai toh uski samajhdaari par sawal uthta hai.

Beautifully written. Imlie the girl always plays a victim card all the time. It is high time the makers need to stop her doing that and show her to grow some spine. All her mistakes can’t be given free pass because of her age. She should stop acting know it all and she should stop doing mahaanta acts and later play a victim card. She is doing the same with Aryan too. First she agreed for Aryan’s condition which nobody asked her to do so and later came and married for her mother and now roasting and humiliating Aryan for no reason. The makers should understand Imlie started standing in our nerves long back and now she is at her peak.

Imlie wasn't ill-treated in the beginning of the show. No, she, the prodigious highschooler, was only employed as a domestic worker without pay and given a room, nay, a storage-unit-cum-corner to inhabit. But, no, that's not ill-treatment.

The sheer mental gymnastics done to excuse the spineless behaviour of a 30+ man is hilarious.

The sheer verbose penmanship done to prove that there was organic chemistry in an ephebophilic bigamist relationship that is somehow in contrast to the good-but-not-'natural'chemistry between two experienced adults is just plainly sad.

Not allow imlie to be set everything right …

Exactly. Most of the times Imlie invited trouble and ill treatment all by herself by not listening to Adi. He wanted to move out of the house when T’s didn’t accept their relationship but she refused. He asked her to come and sleep in their room intially but she refused it. She wanted everything to happen her way. Also the makers need to stop propping up Aryan at the cost of Adi. Especially when it is done by Mitti and Sathyakam they are really sounding opportunistic and hollow.

Why will Imlie now to use broomstick?

We need to understand each character nuances.
