Maybe the wrong thread to ask -- but were there any fireworks when the show first aired? (genuine Q)

I watched silsila badalte rishton ka 3 years ago which was about 1 man, 2 women and him ultimately leaving his wife for her best friend. People HATED him and the best friend -- so much so the two actors got brick bats. It is silly to troll the actors on social media because they are not the characters but thats what happened. The forum also used to get so heated at times. It was supposed to be a mature drama about man falling out of love and falling into a new relationship. It didn't go down well with most viewers.

So considering those fireworks, I am a little surprised that another drama where a man went back and forth between two women didn't raise the ire of lots of people? 🤷‍♀️

As I said this show never appealed me in the start.. I did watched some clips in insta but it was not enough to hook me to the show courtesy AKT's character... But then one clip of ASR and I was like I DO HAVE TO WATCH IT' and I literally binge watched it from the time of his entry...

I may sound biased but for me ASR is the reason show has got a fresh life in it....

actually AKT is mentioned before Aryan’s entry. Way before actually. I saw in one of the reviews of the show when show had started the mentioned age of each of the characters. AKT as 34 Maliki as 30 and Imlie as 18.
