Bold - I am of the same opinion. In fact, Aryan's past and Aditya's role in it has been very cleverly crafted. They've kept it sort of ambiguous to test the waters and see the audience's response to Aryan's rise and Aditya's downfall. Aditya didn't have a hand in the actual incident of Arvind's murder, but there’s no saying that he didn't write stuff that incited the crowd to ultimately do what they did. If Aryan is a hit and people are okay with Aditya's downfall, we may hear more of Aditya's actual involvement in Arvind's death in the future. If not, Aryan's revenge will be brushed under the carpet as a misunderstanding on his part. Though it would be quite lame if they do that. Given Aryan's character, he isn't portrayed as someone who would work with a half baked story. And given the dossier that he's collated, it must have some substance to it for it to be fueling his vengeance all these years.

I agree with you and is of same opinion that people are just being delusional that ASR is like Malini . He will never be like her . Even if he has his own limitations still has strong personality . I have seen this show only in bits and pieces and was never a fan of Aditya bcause he is a flawed character from the very beginning . And I believe he is Atleast 1 percent accountable for Malini’s character change . I can relate to Imlie and her love for BS bcause the girl has always been fed that way that ur husband is ur love . She loved him bcause she had no options or choice left . But what Aditya did was very wrong . I was ok with him marrying Malini even after being married to Imlie bcause that was a forced marriage and according to him he loved Malini . But after being married to Malini he gets attracted to Imlie which was very wrong . Till the time he did things out of sympathy and concern it was okay but falling in love with her was just selfish .Aditya was clearly emotionally cheating Malini and physically cheating Imlie bcause after Adini marriage they might have got intimate . This man’s character is very loose that he falls in love with one sister and trusts other and sleeps with the former after getting drugged . I don’t understand why people have no issues with Aditya deleting the proof which according to me was the final nail in the coffin .According to me he fell in love with Imlie bcause he enjoyed his supremacy in the relationship whereas with Malini they were equals . Imlie’s devotion drove him crazy and her situation made Him feel sympathetic towards her and when he started seeing her strong character he couldn’t control himself and fell for her . Anyone will fall for Imlie but that can’t be understood by Malini and initial days Aditya . Imlie never fell for Adi for her it was free given with her forceful marriage with Aditya as a baggage . Mom and daughter . Both falling for weak persons like Dev and Aditya and moving on later in life with strong men like SK and ASR. Imlie has never done anything wrong with Malini but her own husband wronged her by falling out of love . But she being the typical female will always find fault in other women than in her own hubby . Last but not the least how many times Imlie has been insulted by Anu calling her servant and her mom some

Other cheap name but this Aditya had never the guts to shut her up instead shamelessly stood there with a confused face . He may have stood with Imlie but that’s for his own selfish love but Imlie is a diamond which will shine wherever it’s kept bcause that’s her characteristics. Truth is Imlie doesn’t need BS but he does bcause he is in one kind of obsession with Imlie and in special kind of trust with Malini . Aditya Imlie marriage was always meant to be shattered bcause then only Imlie will rise above her beliefs and taboos and will actually fall in love with a person without any pressure . Aryan Imlie relationship will be between two equals whereas in Adiles it was always like submissive . Even if she was Aditya’s wife his going behind Imlie during Holi and colouring her and all was very cringeworthy bcause what Aditya was doing was pure cheating . He feels some sort of authority over Imlie and doesn’t like her getting exposed with other males be it even SK . Imlie always looks for SK in Aditya but he fails her miserably always . Aditya enjoyed the attention he got from Imlie even after being married to Imlie and he thinks every other man is like him . Aditya has always been the negative character of this show even much before Malini turned negative. And no theirs were never a true platonic love . May be from Imlie side it was pure but from Aditya’s side it was not .

He's been shown in grey shade a bit till now, that's more appealing about his character... I'm watching all episodes as I've only seen bits and pieces while my mom watched.

His grey has more white in it. He has more of Satyakaam in him than Aditya. The vigilante, rebel leader being the voice of the voiceless. Maybe, he is a businessman, but he has that aspect of Satyakaam.

I really don't know how many reality checks she needs to come out of her "Aditya's Defence Lawyer" mode. I guess the more Aditya falls, the more reality checks she will get. Well, there are many more wake-up calls to come, I believe.

To be honest, I am not sure how much of this revenge will be played out. Cause they haven't fleshed out that chapter of Aditya and Aryan. So, we have to see, how it works out. What I can see is prior to Aryan's arrival, Aditya has systematically been brought down, level by level. So when Aryan enters as this strong, justice-seeking karmic businessman-cum-vigilante it just spotlights Aditya's weaknesses as a character even further.

You are also so right about Aditya's underlying nature and hero-complex.

I re-watched some episodes, and Aditya daydreamed that Imlie is at the office and he tells her "you can be the boss at home and I'll be the boss here". Ofcourse it was played off as a super cute nok johk type of scene.

But then Aditya sees Imlie washing Aryan's car and finds out that Imlie is the intern Aryan brought with him. From Day 1 of Imlie's internship Aryan has been who she goes to for advise, direction, and guidance. Imlie's first "offence" was to dare listen to someone other than Aditya. It wasn't very subtle either. When playing the victim didn't work he started taunting her.

Compare this with Aryan, and by god, I don't understand how anyone can call Aryan a villain. He has his own motives, that's it. If having reasons for your behaviour and words makes you a villain, well then I guess it's clear why some think Aditya isn't one 😂

I agree to it mostly, cause Aryan may be grey, but he is very much a realist, and a cynic as well. He does not orate unnecessary idealistic speeches, but he rather talks from his own experiences that have shaped him. And they are mostly true. Imlie as a young girl is rather impressionable. She was impressed thoroughly by Aditya's words as he is a journalist, and he helped Satyakaam, but when it comes to personal life, turns out he isn't as reliable as his words. Aryan on the other hand, doesn't have to talk much, he just shows it in his actions, that he is there for her. Once, Imlie can differentiate that, I guess she will understand Aryan better. Although, that doesn't call for Aryan to be so tough all the time. It's okay if he can take it easy once in a while.

I don't know why I feel this wedding will happen for real. No matter how many discussions happen, I feel it will happen. I understand people want AdiLie, but honestly, AdiLie is dead. Aditya's systematic character breakdown has just killed any attraction for the equation one had once upon a time.

Aditya's supposed "trust" for Malini has just become a crutch, a convenient excuse for him to avoid taking hard decisions, having uncomfortable conversations as well as taking controversial actions. Its just his rationalization in his mind that it is easier to trust Malini than telling her and her mother that they are rubbing him, his ex-wife Imlie and his family the wrong way.

I don't see him as a villain. Honestly, it is about perspective. For Malini, Imlie is the villain and vice versa. For Aryan, Aditya is a villain. In Aditya's case, he is his own undoing and he will drag everybody along with him. Come to think of it, Malini looks like a heroine, who seems to have pulled Imlie out of this rut of marriage and pushed her out of that house. Her actions have just gifted Imlie another opportunity of living a life of her choosing and this time making choices from experience and not emotions.

But with Aditya, I mean, he is just a classic spoiled brat who was raised to believe he can do no wrong. Even now, when he is creating a scene, everyone runs after him. For the love of God why? He is a grown man. But all including the mother cater to his every feeling. I'm a fan of Aparna, I really am, But lady, if your son annoys you by swearing on your head, then why do the same? All of them are so bloody dramatic 😂. They have no sense of boundary and absolutely no chill.

On the other hand you have Aryan's family that knows how to set him straight and does it with no hesitation. Instead of catering to his moods, they try and create change in him that they know will be good for him. When the mom oversteps in her excitement to bring love into her son's life, her daughter holds her back very kindly. They all talk calmly and don't yell and screech at each other at the drop of a hat.

True about Malini as well. I've been cheering her on because I want to see Aryan and Imlie happen 😂 I know it's weird and crazy, but I do think that one day Imlie will thank the universe for Malini's machinations that opened up possibility in her life once again. Malini however is stuck there, mind and body. If she wasn't so crazy I'd pity her.

Let's hope that Aryan continues to bring some sanity to Imlie and then the both of them can cleanse away the toxicity.

Also Aditya and Malini wedding is totally happening. I can see no other way ahead in this story.
