I keep meaning to reply to this point of yours from yesterday but haven't been able to gather my thoughts.....lol but yes, this is so true what you pointed out.
It was shown very subtly and dare I say...ORGANICALLY😆....that whether some of them admit it or not, they were treating Imlie as Adi's wife in this entire turn of events.....like that absolution started seeping through the walls somehow regardless. Cuz if they really still considered Malini to be Adi's wife and their bahu toh usse koi baat kar rahe hote, focus udhar hota....but saara focus Imlie pe tha - whether to share the grief, whether to lash out at, whether to console.....all those shades happened with Imlie only.....as you do with an APNA.
Malini ke saath these people only know how to do formality....and grief doesn't leave you with time for formality.....that is why none of the Ts even bothered looking at Malini throughout this entire bit....Rupi offered her water out of formality like she was doing for everyone else....but no one was reaching out to console Malini as ghar ki supposed bahu who is worried for her "husband".
And yes, the mingling was also all happening from Imlie's side of the family with Mithi also being involved....Loser Maa-beti just stuck to each other in their faltu nautankis. The Malini who otherwise claims to have "haq" on T family couldn't even manage to actually be involved in their grief? 😆.....and yeah, not buying the token scenes of AC supposedly "holding her back".....sab dikhaave hi hain from Didi ji. Inko kisi aur ko console karna aata bhi nahin hai....apne se aage dekhein tab na.
Morgue scene mein bhi the dynamics were playing out that way only that no one questioned Imlie's grief as a wife there.....that silent acceptance of her grief and pain being genuine was in itself a notable allowance from the Ts who've otherwise been accusing her of "phasaaoing" Adi.....lol....but is moment mein they were all treating her as the grief-stricken wife of their son even if otherwise thode distant the. Didi was a non-entity to them😆
