Hotstar query for US

Hi all,

I have query with forum members from US. How do you guys watch the Hotstar shows from there...

If there is subscription with Indian number and if we retain our Indian number will we be able to watch just as we watch in India.. Or some additional setting is required.. ?

Also if one does not have Indian number then how do we connect.. ?

You don't need an India number to sign up for Hotstar in the US. Just go to the US Hotstar homepage and sign up for one of the subscriptions.....

You can set up payments like with usual streaming services int he US. No India, OTP etc. stuff required😆

Please google hotstar US and you can subscribe for it. I think I paid $50 or 60 for 1 year. We get VIP subscription directly as the price is higher. We dont have options like India, it is a single payment of $50 or 60.

Additionally, I already have premium subscription from Indian number.. Which will be valid for few more months.. So will I be able to use it with same Indian number if I retain my number

No then you will have to.use VPN and tbat doesn't work most of the times due to tweaks on hotstar platform...

I am pretty sure US is same as Can and you just need Email ID to sign up not a phone number for that. So just your payment Info and email just like Netflix

Hi,

Think HotstarUS is not updating new episodes any more as yesterday's was not uploaded in the site. For the latest, you require Disney + or Hulu subscription as it was updated on Hulu later in the night. It was not as the same time in India. I do not know about Disney if epi 250 was updated there.

Hotstar US is effectively useless now for new episodes of current shows😆. They are no longer uploading anything new there. It's just a library for old shows/epis now.

In terms of subscribing, if you just want the Hotstar TV+ movies content, then you can stick to Hulu cuz it will only be there. They aren't uploading anything on Disney+ here.
