Does it require Hulu subscription now? What happens to our Hotstar subscription that we paid for the whole year then?

I have Disney+ but the episodes are not uploaded there. How can they do this to paid subscribers?

I believe they said they will refund the subscription amount to the people who paid for Hotstar. They should likely have sent you an email with details - check your spam folder too cuz sometime it goes there.

If you want to watch new episodes going forward, you will have to subscribe to Hulu. Disney+ won't upload the Hotstar content in the US.

Thank you for prompt response! I checked my mail right after my post and found a mail from Hotstar that gave us an offer code to get free subscription to Hulu bundle for a year. I activated it just now.

Those of you with Hotstar subscription in US should activate Hulu bundle for free with the offer code they sent to you via email. Good luck!

If you want to watch only the Hotstar TV/movies content, the Hulu subscription alone should be enough.

The Disney bundle will essentially just give you Hulu, ESPN+ (where they will upload cricket matches in the future) and the Disney+ app with the regular Disney content.

I saw that the latest was uploaded in HULU this morning as well. Think it was uploaded around 1 am EST which is far too late to stay up to watch.

Uploaded around 10 30 PM PST so 1 30 am EST.

We need to see this week about the timings.

Thanks Nim! I wish they could upload at the same time as India hotstar but getting it 5 hours late is still better than getting it at the same time as India telecast I guess 😆
